I'm a local here. I get my gas here, but sometimes when getting gas the people that work there can be a bit mean some of the time. It's because they want to get people in and out of there. I should know I use to work at a gas station. If treat costumers well they will smile back at you. That was me. But the workers seem to not smile. Not good. But all in all they give good and fast service. It's also a car wash, but I never tried to wash my car there. I rather do it at my house. The good thing about this place is their Lottery Machine never breaks down and the close by Vons Lottery Machine breaks down. read more

This gas station really sucks. Sorry, had to say it. My husband and I only come here to use the vacuums now. We've tried several times to get car washes here but it's always either not working or it doesn't accept card Payment. There's a long list typed up of how to use their car wash and not once does it say it takes codes only. It's really frustrating for people who wait in these lines. I arrived there on Saturday 02/13/21. Purchased gas and car wash. Paid at the pump. I noticed some resistance on the card reader so I gave it a small nudge and it worked, little did I know my credit card was cloned and the spending began. 2 HOURS later my bank sent me text alerts , My card was charged 5x for items I never purchased at places I have not been. pros... this station is right up the street from my house. besides being close it also has a pretty decent car wash, when it's working. it is usually not too busy here, and you can get in and out pretty fast. cons... the prices here are a bit on the high side, while it can be about $.10-.15 more than other places in san diego. i would have to agree with the other yelper about the actual workers here, they are a bit on the impatient side. and the car wash seems to be broken most of the time. read more

Pump 5 wasn't reading the card, Pump 3 didn't have a working pump for the type I was looking for and neither had signs indicating as such. Pulled up to the first row and finally a working station! It's been years since this station has had an upgrade and I think it's due. There's other Chevrons nearby and off the freeway so as long as you're not running on fumes, perhaps you should choose another. read more

This place is all about luck of the draw. I'd say it's probably 50% great, helpful employees & 50% lazy, worthless employees and what seems to make things worse is the lazy half are the ones training any new employee. Also, for some reason they haven't been able to get a new prepaid credit card authorization/activation machine. It's been "broken" every time I go in and one of the aforementioned "lazy/worthless" employees are working however it's suddenly fixed when it's someone from the other half of employees. read more

Went to put gas yesterday; and low and behold, I learned Ms. Ivonne is no longer there. She was fired according to another client I spoke to inside the store. What? No?! She was such a hard worker, always cheery and sweet. She was a breath of fresh air, seeing her early in the morning when I got my gas and coffee. She always had a smile on her face and was super sweet to everyone she encountered, not to mention she kept the place spotless, as I had often seen her outside early in the morning cleaning up the place. I noticed a change in atmosphere when the new manager arrived, though, a few months ago. That lady was always yelling and in a bad mood, and we customers talked about it outside since we often see each other at the same time. Don't you know we go to a business because of the people, not the place?!!! I am not returning here, the gas is always more per gallon, but up until now it did not bother me, but not any more!!
