Deep frustration and disappointment regarding my recent rental experience with U-Haul, specifically involving the Mega Fuel location. I called serval times to get a confirmation. It took three calls. I was moving so we have movers planned. The truck was not even operable. It took them 90 minute to find another truck and direct me there. They did not take any ownership. I really like this business. The owner is a gentleman. The employees are usually nice however, there is one employee who is very abrasive and has a negative attitude but hopefully he won't last long. Otherwise, the employees are great. read more

Price Gouging here. Prices on the sign out front for regular unleaded were $4.79/$4.89 . When the pump asked if this was credit or debit, the debit key was hit. The receipt confirmed this. The receipt also confirmed that the price per gallon that the station charged was the higher (credit) price at $4.89, even though debit was used. I would not have gone to this station if I wasn't going to save money by using my debit card. I queried the clerk inside, who was puzzled. We called the owner, He said that's just how it is. I said I'd be reporting the station to the appropriate CA bureau. read more

Worst customer service! Was pumping gas and the clerk rushed to lock the door in front of me. Once I knock i ask if i can just buy a wrap. He says i about to close my cash register. I say but you haven't. And continues to argue with me a who is already a paying customer because of gas. If i owned this gas station i would take all sales. They are illegally charging a fee for using credit AND debit transactions. The person that replied to me via yelp said California civil code 1748.1 says he can as long as he has a sign and makes it clear to you before the purchase. However, when I read the civil code, it says otherwise. Here is his message and my reply. From them: Hi Joe, I am sorry you felt Mega Fuel has not met your expectation with the credit card/debit fees. To respond to your concerns regarding credit card/ debit transactions, according to the credit card processing company policy and the California Civil Code section 1748.1, a merchant must provide clear disclosure to the merchant's customers of the merchant's surcharging practices or fee at the point of interaction which shall include the amount of the surcharge and the dollar amount of the surcharge on the transaction receipt provided by the merchant to its customers. Mega Fuel really helped me out when I was in a jam. I was going out to dinner with my fiance and we came here to get gas. For whatever reason, my card kept getting declined. Im like "da fuq". I call BoA and the card actually expired after a month of use as it was a temp card. Did BoA ever tell me? No. I only had one card with me and BoA was unable to "turn on" the card. Mega Fuel overhead the conversation and provided some gas to help me get home. Really great customer service here. I will come back again. read more

Had to stop by here just to get a gallon... the good thing is their cash and credit price is the same but their pumps look like they need to be replaced. They are located on a busy intersection, so that's a plus. I probably wouldn't fill up here again. But if you need gas, give them a try. read more

The gas prices here are always a couple cents cheaper than the Chevron across, but still remains one of the pricier ones in town. They have good "Frazil" slush puppies that are way better than your 7-11 "Slurpees". However; $1.49 +tax for a small one is a bit on the pricier side for a vending drink. Another strange thing is that many items don't have prices posted in labels. So it's always a guess for many items what you're going to pay. The biggest turnoff here is that they require a purchase for cash back, which is pretty logical. But why would you charge $1 for a simple debit card cash back for someone that already shops at your store? The guy working here was also way too much interested in his tablet streaming videos than assisting customers. read more

This review is mainly for the Boars Head Deli inside the store. AWESOME Turkey sandwich. The bread was fresh and it was loaded with turkey. 10 times better than anything Subway has. The manager /owner was really pleasant to deal with too. We'll be making this our after Walmart sandwich stop from now on! read more

I would not go here but Ford gave me a voucher for a free gas fill up. When I went there to fill up my tank the pump was not working. The employee asked me to pull up to another pump, and when I did it was pumping gas extremely slow. Two more people pulled up to the gas station having the same issue. Needed air for my tire and went inside to have the machine turned on. Some clown with an accent asked me if I was a customer. "No i said , i just need some air." he told me I had to buy something first. I asked him for his name but would not tell me. I have purchased gas their before and also sandwiches from their Subway Sandwich shop inside. I won't be doing that anymore. Don't be fooled by lower gas prices. If you buy anything else inside the store BEWARE of the old bait and switch. The price will be $1 or more than the cost of your items. EVERY TIME. When I asked about it the owner was argumentative and would not look me in the eye. Don't let people like this rip you off. Pay attention to your item total and ask for a receipt. read more

This place is is good. It's right off the freeway. Cheap gas, Subway Inside and the manager is extremely friendly. I stop here everyday to get gas and maybe a sub if I'm hungry . Just down the road from this Ford dealership, Pierre assisted us with kindness (and he would not take a tip for his efforts--he insisted we donate it to those in need). Blessings indeed.
