The store was getting busy with Truckers coming and going... They have a great selection of auto/truck basic items... Lights, Tow Straps, Oil, Shirts, Hat's, Socks, Gloves, Jackets/Hoodies,Hygiene products that come packaged together so you don't get a choice but if you want to be clean these bags have what you need. They have Coffee & all your convenient store snacks & Beverages. They have a lot of cool glass figurines & Jewelry also. There is a " lounge" for the Truckers to use. I noticed 2 massage chairs & Showers. There is an IHOP & a Popeyes there also. Staff was real nice & friendly.

The shop is nicely stocked with snacks, cold drinks, hot popcorn, hot dogs rolling about on the heated trays, and a bunch more. There is an adjoining I HOP. Next to the IHOP is a Popeyes. There are some electric chargers near the Popeyes. Not sure which brand they were. The gas pricing has a ok. Comparable to the multitude of other stations along in that area. The women's restroom is not great though. Older worn toilets and fixtures. No toilet seat covers. The majority of the interior toilet bowl enamel was chipped and worn making it look unclean. I entered several stalls thinking the toilets weren't cleaned (remnants) until I realized the attendant just cleaned them. Besides a restroom refresh, the TA could stand to refresh the parking lot space paint lines in the front lot. The lines are worn out and many drivers are driving straight through all willy nilly while cars are trying to park in the spaces. A bit chaotic.

It was the first gas stop since leaving DTLB, and the 10.931 gallon fill-up of 87 octane was $5.66 per gallon. The xlerater hand dryer was an unexpected delight. If you've never used one, it's kind of like standing in the wash of a jet engine Your hands are bone dry in about 10 seconds. They boast a well stocked fountain with three different diet soda options: Diet Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, and Diet Pepsi. There are hot dogs and tornados (steak, egg, and cheese) rolling round and round on the rotisserie if you're in the mood for a hot and savory snack. They even carry my favorite snack treat, Takis. The cashier was very helpful and friendly. The customer in front of me was purchasing a large bag of sunflower seeds and the cashier asked him if he would like a spit bag for the shells? I would never have thought to ask and ended up with a bunch of messy shells to deal with. This Valero station is located just off I-5 in Santa Nella and has easy access both on and off the freeway.

It was either this or the king across the street. Didn't feel like a whopper or anything associated with it. So it turned out Aurora Tacos took our business. At the time I didn't expect anything great out of it. Had one of each. There was chicken, pork, and beef. Afterwards, I regret not taking any photos. It was so good, I have to say these are the best tacos I've had as far as I can remember. You must try. I wish I could tow their taco trailer back home with me.

I wanted a drink and to fill the tank with diesel. Yes, they actually had diesel. The price was reasonable. Going into the building, things were not dirty but not exactly clean, either. Compared to the Circle K in Los Baños that is near the skate park, this was great, though. The rest room, shared with Jack in the Box, was not dirty. The drink fountain was not dirty. Someone needed to tidy up. The cashier was friendly and efficient but she went outside to talk again as I was leaving, just as she had been when I entered.
