Loves is usually our to go-to spot whether we are heading North or South. We like to gas up here as the bathrooms are usually clean, the store area has a wide variety of drinks and snacks for your trip to wherever you're heading and attached to the store is a Del Taco! They have a self check out area or the regular cashier to assist you with your checking out. I've not tried the food like the hot dogs that are on the rollers or anything else since we usually head next door. Prices are ok for a gas station stop for bottled drinks compared to other places I've been. During our long distance traveling, we found this nice and convenient travel stop. We all had to use the restrooms, but I noticed that they have much more going on inside than restrooms. There is a well stocked convenience store within, gift shop, baked goods, and even a car parts store. I quickly realized this was not only a place for a bathroom break, but a gas station, and a truck & RV stop, including truck repairs. They offer private showers, laundry facility, dog park, ATM, Wi-Fi, and parking for semi's. They accept just about all forms of payment too! There is a Del Taco and another restaurant connected to the same facility. I have to admit, that I didn't pay attention to the eateries while there. I actually thought I saw a Popeye's there instead of a Del Taco! I tried to confirm this online, but to my dismay, my memory appears to be off! The restrooms were clean, but due to how busy they get, they really needed more stalls. I had to wait in a long line of customers. I found it amusing to hear over head announcements requesting: "attention all professional drivers" to report to a specific location somewhere I can't say. My mind kept speculating that there was a racetrack located behind the facility! LOL! There is so much going on behind the scenes than what you see from the front! Between this gas station and AM/PM across the street they are typically the cheapest gas on this strip. They have about a dozen pumps. It does get quite packed here and can end up being one big cluster *&%$. Cars just driving every which way and pedestrians walking through with absolutely no sense of urgency. The bathrooms seem to always be clean and well stocked when I've been. They offer a variety of snacks, drinks and hot food. They are next door to a Del Taco if the store doesn't offer what you're looking for. There's a usually a taco truck and a fruit stand over in the AM/PM shopping center. There's a Carls Jr directly across from Loves. There's also a Popeyes down the street and if none of that tickles your fancy there is always Anderson's with their famous pea soup. Service here is quick and the employees behind the registers are always pleasant and remember the names of the frequent visitors. If you download their app you get a few cents off. read more

Everything you want a truck stop to be. It was clean, smelled pleasant, and there was no line in the bathrooms. When I entered the bathroom a gal was cleaning it so it was freshly cleaned when I used it. I gave them a smiley face on my way out on their little approval machine. This location has showers and washing machine and dryers. There is plenty of things to shop for and they have 10 feet charging cables for your phone for purchase. Food selection is good in loves and they are also connected to a Del Taco. read more

I am a truck driver so I go to a lot of truck stops. I have not gone to this location since they opened a new Loves in Patterson and ain't nothing changed here. Still the same dump as it has been. The truck fuel island still has the same squeegees and water from 1987, staff is still rude and bathrooms are mopped with the same stale water, I don't think they use " cleaning" products. I can see why they closed their truck service over here, it's depressing. Truck driving is a depressing lonely job, this place makes it worse. read more

This review was during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a small Love's. It's clean inside with plenty of snacks. They have a plexiglass barrier and the staff wear masks. The fuel area is really small and the exit is curved and bordered by cement curbs. I saw a regular pickup go over the curb so I knew our trailer would never make it. We went around to another exit. I wouldn't recommend this Love's for RVs or larger vehicles. Regular vehicles are fine. read more

This place is truly "clean places, friendly faces" as it says on its window. Good service and very nice and helpful gentleman cashier.

Love's might have the cheapest gasoline in this town made just for I-5 travelers, but be careful when filling your tank. I noticed that the pump I was on was filling really slowly, but I wasn't ready for major spillage when the pump did not click as it was supposed to. Probably wasted at least a couple of dollars worth of gasoline, not to mention the mess when disconnecting the hose and gas still dripping out, all over the ground, my shorts, and my shoes. $hit happens and things stop working unexpectedly, but that is not the case here. A mop and a bucket right next to this pump indicate that the issue is/was known. Why this pump wasn't shut down? Only Love's employees would know. I was too embarrassed/proud/ in a hurry to go in and complain. But I still smell the gasoline in the car, hours later. After this experience, I will go to a different gas station if stopping in Santa Nella. Love's Travel Stop might be the cheapest, but it comes with an added price. Be warned. read more

Reliably good gas station/truck stop, with the best fuel prices around... even considering how ridiculous gasoline prices are right now. Pretty easy access to and from the Highway, even towing a trailer. Window wash and squeegees are stocked and not too beat up, with broomstick long handles to reach all your glass that needs cleaning. Inside, the place is always lively-- the usual gas station sustenance items, hot coffee, cold drinks, and a few racks of clothes, stickers, bric a brac, and CB radio equipment. Showers available if you're on the long haul and can't wait til you get to Shaky Town. Gassed up and kept on keeping on. Love me some Loves. read more

It's a California truck stop....so I don't dare use the restroom or even go inside to shop. For the I-5 travelers, the gas prices are at least $1 cheaper a gallon than the gas stations in Kettlemen City and Coalinga. Just pay outside at the pump and you don't need to deal with the employees and customers inside like every other gas station. Yeah, I'll stop at this Love's or another gas station at this exit on future road trips. read more

I stop around this area during my SoCal - NorCal - SoCal drive mostly to fuel up and get a quick grub. My go-to is usually the gas station across the street since their gas prices are far more reasonable than the ones within a half-mile radius. On my last trek, I noticed that this place's gas price was a little cheaper, so I decided to forego going to my usual gas station. While filling up, I had the need to use the restrooms and what I discovered going into their store was that they had so much more to offer. This place is a joke. Although the workers were courteous and helpful, they lied to me. They told me they had Rotella oil, which was part of the reason i agreed to the oil change, then they said they ran out of Rotella but had Mobil, then they ran out of Mobil and used Love's oil, then in the middle of the oil change they ran out of oil completelt and had to run out to O'reilly to buy oil to complete the job. Why lie? If you don't have oil just say so and ill go somewhere else. It took 4 hours to get my oil change. They couldn't go across the street to TA to buy a gallon of oil, so they sent some idiot to drive accross town to buy the oil. The guy took like an hour. read more

Sergio Mora has been so very kind to me as well as the other patrons of this establishment, he as well as Michelle, Dailah, Lena, Venesa,, when she was at this location and kylee. have really made my fueling their pleasant. I know I spelled a few names incorrectly, please forgive me. I do appreciate each of them, because when I am traveling in my personal vehicle and I arrive there when they are not working the staff isn't so kind or nice. I'm not a trucker (although major respect to them, truckers keep America alive without a doubt), but I visited this particular location because I was in the vicinity. They have a diverse selection of goods to purchase, including a whole bunch of pretty jewelry and figurines. I got myself a butterfly necklace and a short-sleeved hoodie for my husband. The best part was that the staff started dancing with me because "La Macarena" came on the intercom. I hope that was fun for them too, as it certainly was for me. Very nice staff! read more

Awesome place to stop when you're driving on the Interstate 5 from LA to SF (or Sacramento). When you see their windshield washing squeegees, you'll think, "wow, that thing super long." (That's what she said) Anyway, they have awesome squeegees so short people don't have to reach super hard to clean the windshields of their cars. I don't really have that problem myself, but I'm sure there are some short honeydips out there that would appreciate the extra length. lol read more

I always stop at Loves for the SF LA drive. Cheapest gas and clean restrooms. This one has several eating options at the same exit including subway, McDonald's, Carl's junior and Wendy's. I frequent Love's in my business travels as the gas is cheap and typically clean bathrooms. I stopped in gas was cheapest in town. Thought it was kind of tacky have 3 loves employees smoking like they were out front. Nothing against smokers was just odd and without a pic to hard to explain. The bathroom for the men's was just down right nasty. It smelt like old urine so bad I was trying to not breath. Another reason I like Love's is they carry my low calorie Gatorade. Fraud?! Nice busy station, decent price, however went to fill 87 octane gas. How do I know? Sometimes stations put the low grade on the left, sometimes on the right. Am 100% sure I pressed the 87 grade for $4.15/gallon. Left station and looked at the receipt it said I had put in the super grade at $4.75/gallon. OK, if it was super grade gas fine as my SUV will take either but how can I be sure? I wasn't going to go back and argue for $6. I'm used to the scams in Mexico at the gas stations but never thought of being scammed here. PINCHES!
