Because it's Chevron, it is pricey. I expect that. There are lots of pumps, well spaced, and you can enter directly off of Brawley if you are heading south on Brawley, or you can turn left at the signal if you are going north on Brawley. That particular turn will take you down a dead-end street where you enter at the far end of the station. Be aware of your surroundings and how you maneuver into the filling station. The first pump I tried would not take my credit card and had a big error sign on its screen. I had to get back in my car and CAREFULLY back up into another slot. Fortunately, that pump was working. Do not even look into the window-wash water. It is gross beyond belief. I'm assuming that's because they would like you to use their carwash. Although early in the morning, the garbage bin was already full at that particular island. I have not gone into their store as I am only a few blocks from home and have no need to as I am paying "at the pump." I'm just there for the gas, which I am trusting to be Chevron's high quality product.

We were on our way down south to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park in Three Rivers to spend some time with nature and hang out with the giant trees. 99 is not 5 (thank goodness) as it passes a lot more towns and has more lanes. This particular one is off the Avenue 7 exit in Madera. How do I know? I added this business on Yelp via the iPhone. It appears to be new (maybe several months old) as the restrooms are still clean and it just has that new look to it. Also, it's cheaper to pay cash compared to credit card and probably 10 to 15 cents a galloon cheaper compared to the other ones we passed. It's also a perfect pit stop since it's about at the halway point if your'e going further down South past Bakersfield, and it's just a few exits past Fresno. It has a Subway inside so it makes it an ideal place for a pit stop since you can take care of a lot of business here. On the drive back up north, we stopped here again for gas since it's ideally located at the halway point of our trip. And did you know?
