One thing for certain, make that two. Costco's gas prices are always lower than Chevron and there's always a line. I think this is the one on Shaw by Food Co. Yah, IDK what happend to this area lately, but beware of the homeless hanging around. The corner of Blythe and Shaw is hectic, cars drive way too fast and this night was a really bad car accident. Sometimes the wait time can be long. I'm a bit impatient so I'll go early in the morning or right before they close to avoid the wait. Today, we went at lunch time and the line wasn't as long as I thought it was going to be. We waiting maybe less than 10 mins. I always see an employee walking around to make sure everyone is doing ok. I do see them checking each gas pump station and wiping down the handle and buttons, using the same towel... This location can get really packed and the lines can be very long and with 2 entrances it can get pretty chaotic. They have stalls that holds 3 pumps and only 1 stall with 2 pumps (far right). I would be nice if they also updated this place like the Clovis location where there are indicator lights to show whether a stall is open or not so that the wait won't have to be so long. I understand needing to close the entrance before 9:30 so you can close out who is in line in time, but if your signs say you're open until 9:30 PM then either update your hours, or be consistent. Conveniently setup a good distance away from the front entrance of the main warehouse building you can get in and out of here in 10 minutes or less. Access to exit onto Blackstone is easy and the onramp to freeway 41 is just around the corner. This makes this the perfect place to fill up before taking a road trip. read more

Cheapest Gas in town! Although the long lines might deter you, it's worth the wait and they move rather fast, if you know where to go! When you enter the line for the station, get as far left as possible. You will usually find one or no cars waiting for the pumps. These are usually empty or at least shorter lines. Let's face it, people usually tend to follow others rather than lead themselves, and this couldn't be more true than here. People will always bunch up on the right lanes and give no thought to the left lanes. So check it out! read more

Costco gas, let me first of say, always busy, recommended times are early morning and late evenings just before shutting the pumps down.lol. Fresno and nearby residents seem to flock to this location on a regular basis, but with that said, I personally feel the staff, in the gas pump area need to coordinate the available open stalls once a vehicle moves and a stall is available, to expedite the process, I don t know how many times I have waned to jump lines when stalls have been available, only saying. Overall visit to this location are usually good, but forbid to visit on a crazy day, good luck its like traffic in the bay area!! read more

Such a clean and well-kept gas station! The lines can be pretty long, so I try to come off-peak. Usually a line of 3 cars will take at least 5-10 minutes, so be prepared. But if you think it's worth your time to wait and save 50+ cents per gallon, it's worth a few quiet moments alone. If you're able to pop in during quieter hours, I've found the scale on Google pretty reliable. The machines are easy to operate and ask for your Costco membership card, followed by credit or debit. I believe they only take Visa at the moment. Most pumps have regular and premium petrol, and diesel. Some pumps have one or the other - so take a look at the signs before you drive up. One criticism I have is that when they were closed on a holiday, there was no signage to show for it. The pumps were just locked, and there were a lot of people milling around and trying to use them before realizing everything was shut down. Overall, though, a good experience, it's usually very organized and the staff are very helpful. read more
