At every other arco when you pay with a debit card they give you the cash price, at this station they try to trick you into using the debit card like a credit card so they can charge you more. If you press debit and insert your card it won't read the card on the first try. Just leave it in there and pick debit again and it will finally give you the cash price. It's a shady practice by the station and Arco should definitely look into it. If you pull the card and try using the tap to pay it will give you the credit card price.

I only realized it after I finished pumping and saw that the total only went up to the amount he claimed I had paid. I counted my money multiple times before handing it over, so being told otherwise was extremely frustrating. It was only a small amount off , but that doesn't make it okay ... it was still my money. More than anything, I'm disappointed by how poorly the situation was handled and by the complete lack of customer service or accountability. It's cheaper to get the deal for 3 opposed to just one cookie. Yes, it was an impulse buy but a good one at that. Haha. Took the cookies home and saw on the wrapper that it was baked locally but did not ID which local bakery. As for customer service, it was a no-nonsense type guy at the counter. A simple, "I'll be back in a few minutes," or "We're temporarily closed," would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left standing there wondering what was going on. Located on PCH and Western Ave., your best way to enter the gas station is if you are going east on PCH just past western. It'll be on your right hand side. There is also a machine car wash that'll wash your car with the price range of $8-12. The only downside is that the car wash has the flappy paddle things that may or may not scratch your car (note this was a new addition) but it does clean your car well. You can pay for the car wash at the pump, inside with the cashier, or at the machine just outside the car wash. Overall, its a great place to get gas and a car wash.

The wash has a under carrage spray cleans the tires and wheels. I would definitely recommend spending a few dollars to get your car or truck washed here.
