I forgot to post this review last week as I was headed back to Red Bluff from the Bay Area. I needed gas and usually I'd stop at the Costco gas station cause of the cheapest prices, but no way I wanna wait in long lines in the middle of the day. Fast on and off the 80 freeway is what I needed. Plus Chevron always has a nice little store, clean restrooms and mostly has what Costco gas lacks, windshield cleaning supplies and squeegees. Windshield is a mess after leaving it parked for almost a week while I went on field location work sites. Just pulled off at the 505 freeway exit and took the first exit instead of going on to the 505. You can see the Chevron station right there. Pulled in and used the credit card no prob. The card readers work perfect, none of this multiple tries like some of those cheaper off brand sketch stations. There's even a car wash here if you need that. Pop Eye's fried chicken is next door if fried chicken is what you need! Gas pump work perfect and no spilled gas. I got my windshield all cleaned, wow that makes a difference! OK, I'm outta here and back onto the 505 headed north. Prices aren't the cheapest, but worth it for the nicer station and full service store. Didn't like b20 diesel, tap credit card didn't work and receipt didn't print at the pump. Inside was clean - the store - and person at cashier was friendly. I often drive to Elk Grove/ Laguna West and sometimes stop here for gas. Usually its ok but this last visit was a little worse than normal - I think because I was in my CDI Mercedes diesel. They serve b20 here - and for those that don't know what that means - its a bio diesel blend that is 20% bio - that stuff is usually very very cheap - and the fuel here was $1 more expensive than a diesel #2 spot that was just 20 miles further down the road. Believe it or not I don't drive my CDI all that much... maybe 1000 or 2000 miles a year - I just have more interesting cars to drive. I love my CDI and it gets 45 miles per gallon and in style and comfort - but usually it just sits in the driveway. Because of that I really have concern for the type of fuel that sits for a year at a time - I as I can get nearly 1000 miles out of a tank - that means my fuel sits for a year before I refuel. Bio tends to grow slime and ruins the fuel system - I don't like that. I suppose the worst part is they charge top dollar for what I believe to be worse quality than diesel #2. Bio does have the benefit of great lubricity - so if you go through your tanks fast and use anti gel in the winter b20 should be fine. I prefer hot shots everyday additive and diesel #2 - trust me I did the research - you might want to look into it yourself. read more

What kind of gas station is this? We have no restroom for the customer. I do not recommend this place.

Rudest service received from a cashier with the name tag Ben, who looked lost behind the register, when reported to the manager Lisa " zero" efforts on her part to resolve the dispute. Hate to have to post this but they earned it. Ive been using this station and carwash for several years... close to 3. I use it because my car is rare and this machine is touch less except for the wheel scrubbers. Never had an issue. I bring a large group on weekends for fuel as well. Additionally, staff is always courteous. A few weeks ago, after 50 or so car washes, the machine made an error and wheel scrubber missed my wheels and scrubbed my front bumper. The pictures are the result. No big deal... good company, right? Do the right thing... right? Nope. Big fat denial despite being courteous, reporting immediately and showing their attendant. So now ill take my group of 15-20 and business elsewhere over $900 worth of damage. Super disappointed there would be such drama over a clear error by a machine. Not even anyones actual fault... so much for loyalty going both directions. read more

They have 2 outside bathrooms that are always locked during the early morning hours. California Business and Profession Code 13650-13660 states All gas station restrooms must remain open during business hours. Gas is always available/no restroom available. I am a night time female Uber driver who frequents this location seeking a restroom stop. No Luck!! read more

This gas is always super expensive. Drive down the street three lights to next chevron which is cheaper. Super rude staff as well.

Never felt the need to write a gas station review but dear God. I can confidently say, this bathroom is the 9th gate to Hell. I've been in a lot of gross bathrooms but I walked out of that bathroom 2 days ago and I haven't been the same since. My sister left the bathroom in "hives" but I'm convinced they were claw marks from the demon haunting that domain. I am unsure how one can get feces on the walls and ceilings, which is what leads me to believe someone was fighting for their life in that hell hole. I immediately dowsed myself in hand sanitizer after barely escaping with my life. The only advice I can give you if you must use this "bathroom" is being a rosary and pray you make it out alive. read more

In most cases, I have been a loyal customer of Chevron with high expectations of finding the same features that one looks for in a quality service station. This one is no exception. Easily accessible off the freeway, with spacious maneuvering area to get to and from the gas pumps, air and water station, the Extra Mile convenience store, and a drive-thru car wash. Gas prices were actually competitive and not jacked up due their vicinity near the freeway which some gas stations take advantage of. We are not from this area, but had to stop for gas after a long drive. I found this station to be clean, efficient and convenient. This was a nice and necessary find for us when driving up to the track this past weekend since some of us needed gas and wanted something close to the freeway. This is literally right off the freeway in two right turns so you really can't get closer than that. The prices are ok, but surprisingly the bathrooms were fairly clean. Usually I find when gas stations have bathrooms separated from the main area they tend to be dirtier because they don't get as much attention. Surprisingly this one is nice, not grimy dirty or gross. The male employees here are cool. The female employees are much more reserved. This Chevron just hires good people. It's next to the outlets and just off the freeway! The restrooms are surprisingly clean most of the time also. Not a big fan of their car wash though. I used it many years ago and felt I could have done a better job without really trying. 99 cent 32oz soft drinks also. I'm here every time I pass by! read more

Well lit station, easy access off the 80, both heading East or West, and the touch less car wash for $8 (middle grade wash, better than basic and less than premium) was perfect to wash off the soiled remnants of local sprinklers and overall dust accumulated by driving through a popular wildlife refuge. Gas at Chevron is usually expensive, since filling up the tank of a diesel car set me back around $65. It was cheaper in Vegas, blah! read more

Easy and convenient stop right off the freeway to get gas here and decent prices considering the location.

For $6, the touchless car wash will get your car wet and soapy, but not clean. Save your money.

Hello I just went to the station. Hazel was very rude. I work at a Chevron, reloading cards all day for gas,should not be a problem. Because it is is a Chevron card. Hazel did not want want to be told how to reload the card,to do the card and because I have experience with the card I offered to Hazel to let her know how to do it and Hazel said no. She was very rude and made me so if I decide to take my money to a different Chevron location. My name is Christina I work at a Chevron in Sacramento and I'm very displeased with my service at the Chevron which I normally come to on a regular basis. Never have a problem but Hazel at this location gave me a problem for no reason that I can understand. I am African-American possibly Hazel is prejudice, I do not know but because I am with extra mile locations owned by Edward marzell I do know that at extra mile locations they do reload Chevron cards. Which is a Chevron extra perk because the fact of using cash as opposed to a credit card. I'm very displeased and I will definitely go to another location and as long as I am in control of it will not go back to this location. Chevron gas chevrons gas can't say it's crap because it's not but I wouldn't recommend going to this place for a car wash I shouldn't pay $10 for a car wash and still have to get their self Service sponges/squeegees to wash my windshield and my windows! This place has the best car wash in town. Their drive up key pad to select your wash has been broken for more than two weeks. After complaining to the cashier inside he was very in friendly and not helpful. He stated I was the only one who complained. Very poor customer service. Time to find a new place to take my business and spread the word! read more
