Came to Starbread Bakery hoping to try their doughnuts, but they were already sold out. I did try the señorita bread for the first time, and it was so good! Warm, soft, buttery, and perfectly sweet. Even though I missed out on the doughnuts, I'm glad I finally got to try this place and I would come back specifically for the señorita bread.

    Goodness.

Updating my reviews years later but still as good as ever. I love having Starbread available and close to me. It's such a treat. Those buttery seniorita bread pieces are so hard to resist. They are open early and such an easy pick up. I bring them to work from time to time and on other days, pick up just for the home. Service has always been great. They are friendly and welcoming. And parking is never an issue. Thanks for holding our neighborhood down with the treats!!

If you haven't had Señorita Bread before, you have been missing out! The bread is best when warm from the store. There is a yeast flavor to the bread, but when mixed with the melted butter inside and melted sugar that's sprinkled on the bread, it is heavenly! You will eat at least 5 breads at a time...don't ask how many calories in each bread, just eat it like it's your final meal! They have other offerings in the store, but the go to item here is the Señorita Bread.

Located in the corner next to Lucky's. There is plenty of parking for a short trip. Everything is to go. There is no seating indoors or outside. This place is small but smells so good. I just ordered a five piece. It is always hot, buttery, sweet and pillowy soft. It melts in your mouth delicious. Service was pleasant and fast. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area.

I stopped by at this store on my way to my doctor's appointment. I wanted to bring these tasty treats to the hardworking nurses for Nurses Week. I bought a few boxes. They were hot and the smell is intoxicating. I had to taste one and WOW...just pure decadence. What a heavenly treat! The señorita bread was a trifecta of yeasty dough, butter and caramelized sugar that will melt in your mouth. Warning - these are addicting and you will not stop at one bread. Good thing I bought a box for myself. The ladies were friendly. There were plenty of parking spaces and when I dropped by midmorning, it wasn't busy at all. There were more customers after I left.

This is a family staple, we love the one in Vallejo I think that was the original... by far the best treat ever! The one I'm Vacaville has definitely made it easier to pop in and grab some. I bought some for work, some for the business next to ours and then some for home lol! Hopefully they will be gone before I get home so I don't continue to indulge while I'm trying to behave good. Seniorita bread is so good, it's like a soft roll rolled up and the bottom half dipped in butter sugar and honey. They were very good... and if you don't get to eat them right away I like to pop them in the microwave and warm them for about 10 seconds... it's perfect!

The price keeps going up. That's why i stopped buying . Soon it will be a $1.00 a piece , instead of .50 cents . Sad to say.

Both savory and sweet offerings are amazing! The pastries/sweets that I have tried are delectable- specifically, the macarons, cannoli, eclairs and cropuffs. The baked goods and sandwiches are consistent, fresh and delicious. I love the smoked salmon sandwich with egg (add bacon and avocado) which comes with a fresh side salad. My latest obsession is the poke tuna avocado toast on sourdough bread. For my supervisors going away potluck I decided to order an array of pastries and they did not disappoint.... Dubai chocolate cheesecake, Oreo croissant cheesecake, cannolis, cropuffs, etc. Service is prompt and friendly. There's adequate seating considering the space is tiny! There are about 3 moderate sized tables and a seating bar with individual stools if I recall correctly. Overall worth checking out!

Two weeks before the party, I called Fantasty Cakes to ask if they were available to bake a princess themed birthday cake for our little one. Thankfully, they were available and agreed to make the cake for us. Later on that same day, we stopped by to see and approve the model they had for the detailing of the cake. We agreed to bring fresh flowers in for the top of the cake and a gold crown cake topper we purchased. We dropped both items off the evening before our event. The princess birthday cake turned out nearly exactly how we wanted it. The style was elegant and they included a nice, sutle glittery sheen to the cake as well. The cake was moist, not too sweet (just how I like it), and was quite tasty. For the filling, we requested strawberries. Unfortunately, they included very little strawberries for the cake's filling. They did include a ton of fresh whipped cream more so than strawberries, which was disappointing for the amount of money we spent on the cake. Initially the customer service we experienced was pretty good. The staff seemed helpful and knowledgeable, even when we spoke on the phone. On the pick-up day, however, our multi-tiered cake was given to us in a donut box and not an actual cake box. That being said, the donut box was not closed around the cake, exposing it to the elements. My husband asked if they could place the cake in an actual cake box, but the worker said the donut box was all they had and handed it over to him. I'm very grateful for Fantasy Cakes being available to make my daughter's birthday cake on such a short notice.

He was barely acknowledged the entire time -- only enough to take his order, which was wrong when he received it. The primary worker (also works at jelly donut) was extremely rude and dismissive, never even speaking directly to him, and instead had the trainee grab the donuts while continuing to ignore incoming customers because they were focused on a larger order. Being busy is understandable, but it's not an excuse to treat paying customers so poorly. Customer service matters, especially when people are choosing to spend their money supporting your business. Luckily the weather was perfect the day we went, so we grabbed a table outside and it ended up being the ideal way to enjoy the meal. We started with a Cuban café with condensed milk, and it was incredible. The coffee was bold and rich like a good Cuban espresso should be, and the condensed milk added the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess. It was smooth, strong, and honestly one of the best cups of coffee I've had in a while. For food, she ordered the chilaquiles and I ordered the ropa vieja plate, and we also added an order of papa rellenas to share. The chilaquiles were easily the star of the show. The chips were perfectly coated in sauce without being soggy, and the sauce itself had a really unique flavor compared to the traditional chilaquiles I'm used to. It had a deeper, richer taste with just the right balance of spice and tang. Every bite was packed with flavor and it felt like a really thoughtful twist on the dish. The ropa vieja was just as impressive. The shredded beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, clearly slow-cooked because it just fell apart with each bite. The seasoning was spot on -- savory, slightly tomatoey, and really comforting. It came with black beans and rice, and even though I'm usually not a big fan of black beans, these were excellent. They had a lot of flavor and a great texture, not watery or bland like they sometimes can be. The only thing that didn't quite land for me was the papa rellenas. They were well made, but I was expecting something with more of an empanada-like texture or a crispier outer bite. Instead, it was much more potato-forward, which made it a little heavier than I was hoping for. Service was amazing! Kind friendly staff Overall though, the food was flavorful, the coffee was amazing, and the relaxed outdoor seating made it a really enjoyable meal. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in the area.
