The manager is pathetic I resigned from this place and because the morning crew Stephanie and Kim dont want to ring me up I'm not allowed in the store. I have never stolen anything from there. I did my job and went above and beyond when I worked there. These people are in their 60s and act like they are in high school. The Loop store on North Texas Street has the most friendly employees!! I live on the other side of town but I drive across town to come to this store because the service is outstanding and they also have very good Loop rewards!! Horrible experience this morning with my adult son and grandkids on their way to school today Stopped in the Loop to get a cup coffee . They did not have the kind we wanted so walked out of the store to be attacked, harassed, swarmed by the staff accusing us of stealing . My grandkids were in the car scared seeing there innocent dad being harassed ! What a horrible experience ! Absolutely Horrible Customer Service and Management! It's a gas station; Pump gas, get a bit sad off the prices, and go. Best part about this Shell is the, BOGO voucher, during the snow season. North Star/Sierra is the best value by far on the list. I paid cash for diesel, went out to pump and it charged me $4.19 when the sign said $3.99 for cash plus I used my loyalty card which is an extra 3 cents off. Went in and told attendant before I pumped and she told me she couldand fix it she would have to give me the difference back after I pump. I went back in and she gave me back the equivalent of 10 cents off per gallon when it should have been 22 cents. Not sure if she's not knowing how to do the job or if they're just scammin here. I never thought I'd write a review about a gas station, this gas station has inspired me to. I stopped there last Friday afternoons to fill up and grab a snack. To my surprise they were closed and I was irritated until I found the reason why...Apparently this shell is under an umbrella of shell stations that cares enough for their customers and community to make sure they are safe during these crazy covid times. They have a company go to their stores to disinfect and Fogg their stores and outside pumps...WOW, THANK YOU SHELL. I have a very large family that lives in Fairfield and after we have been directing affected by this horrible virus and it is so nice to see a local company take the measures to keep all of of safe. After telling them about my experience my entire family has decided to only support our local shell station...again thank you management. read more

A fairly new and pretty cheap shell for the drive between bay area and Tahoe. I thought Roseville was pretty cheap but I think I've found a new player in these crazed Gaddafi times. Their store sells some pretty weird shite and as we arrived there was a tanker loading up the station. Funny thing was all the islands were not displaying and the clerk had to reset it. I think this maybe the only time I've seen a gas station get rebooted. read more

This African American lady didn't even greet me when I walked in. She just stared at me which made me uncomfortable and said "what" in a very rude way. Not only did she do that, after I told her the reason I was there she said "okay how much" and I said the amount and she replied with which one and I told her and she said in a rude tone yet again "is that your car?" like she didnt believe me and I said yes. I know she probably had a bad day or was tired because it was towards the end of her shift but she could have been more professional. I've worked food service so I know how it is but I know how to be professional. Overall it was an unpleasant experience and I would never come back here again. read more

Had filled my tank and went in to use the restroom, but when I had asked the cashier(light brown-haired, maybe 30's) for the code she said "you have to be a customer, are you a customer?", and without letting me respond she goes "doesn't look like it", in the nastiest attitude, refusing to provide code, so I walked myself out. I'm not a person who takes things personal but I think businesses should seriously teach their employees basic human decency. read more

Car wash was broke and there was no sign until you actually drove through to the front. You can't drive through because your tires are supposed to get hooked on the track and move you and if the machine is not working you can't do that. I had to back up through the curved driveway and could have easily messed my car up. Why don't you make it easy for your customers and have some signs read more

Whenever I come here Stepheney and Penny assist me! These women literally always have a smile on their face, they work hard, remember me every time I come in, and have SUPERIOR client service. I come to this gas station just for their help! Even when there is a line they make sure to give everyone pleasant quality service. Stopped in the Fairfield CA Shell Station this morning to fill the gas tank on our way to Chico State college tour with our son! I've never seen a nicer gas station market!! The two ladies working the store welcomed us with smiles! I took a quick look around and was shocked to see Frozen yogurt station with all the trimmings, a selection of 5 fresh made coffees, clean and yummy looking hot bar with pizza, French fries and more! The store was stocked with everything from candy to household goods and even has a Beer Den; a large glass refrigerated area with a large selected of the coldest brews in town! The bathrooms were squeaky clean!! I would love to see one of these new concept Loop Neighborhood Market and gas station near my hometown!! Loved it and give it 5 Stars!! read more

All the reviews about this place being new and clean is true. The problem I have with this establishment is the attitude and poor training of the employees. I exchanged a lousy $2 lotto winner for 2 quick picks and the cashier made so many errors that made what normally should be a 1-2 minute transaction to be a 25-minute ordeal. First he said the ticket was not a winner when it CLEARLY said to issue 2 replays. He made me go back to the back of the line to help others customers who got there after me instead of fixing the simple problem. The supervisors came out but were just as clueless on what to do as the clerk. I mean READ WHAT THE DAMN TICKET RECEIPT SAYS! After another 5 minutes of discussion, they finally followed the ticket receipt instructions and issued two more tickets. Altogether it took nearly 25 minutes. Mind you the issue here is bigger than the lousy $2 mistake, it's the fact that they are clearly untrained and also unapologetic for their mistakes. On prior occasions, I have waited near the lottery machine since that's what I'm intending to buy, but the clerk on the other side of the counter would force me to come to her side to initiate the transaction even though I'm the only customer inside the store. Then she would walk over to the side of the lottery machine (where I stood in the first place) to generate the tickets then she would ask me to walk over to that side to ring me up. It's as if she's power tripping instead of providing good customer service. I'm left scratching my head with some of their moves. I try to avoid this place as much as I can and you should too. The Chevron station next to this place has more variety, cheaper gas, and definitely better employee attitude. read more
