Getting in to this station is easy as you pull into the parking lot and just drive straight on in (after waiting in a line because that's just part of the Costco gas experience). Getting out is where I have issues. When I was done, I thought I could 'beat the traffic' and drive a bigger arch closer to Costco's entrance vs. the cars that were quickly turning around & driving close to the pumps. Boy was I wrong. If you drive too far out, you're going to be close to a blind turn that crosses the ramp up into the parking lot. Mix cars rushing up that hill to come in with the exit line getting backed up because people are trying to make an unprotected left out of the parking lot and it's a recipe for just sitting and sitting and sitting. It was completely my fault and a result of my own ignorance of this location (as it was my first time visiting) but I wanted to point this out for anyone else who might not know the lot well. Once you are done pumping gas, try and get back into the same route you took to get into the gas station. There's a reason why you're seeing so many people doing it. Didn't know that there are special treatments for costco members huh? So if you are executive members, you can go early? And if you're just a gold member, you have to wait till 10am? Since were a costco members for decades, hubby filled up the gas in Costco and while waiting, me and my toddler decided to use their restroom because we're about to drive 12 hours back home. I scanned my costco card at the Entrance and some guy stopped me saying we cannot come inside. I said why? He said " because you're only a gold member and have to wait till 10am" I told him "I just have to go to the restroom with my toddler and were driving far" He said, "sorry you cannot come". I was like wow! Since when are Costco treating their members some special treatment? Now im thinking if i would still renew my costco this year. What can I say about Costco gas? Long lines, but good prices. And they have top tier gas.

It's always nice to have a Costco in your area and a plus is a Costco gas station. Prices are typically competitive but the lines on certain days and times are a pain. What I can't stand here is how cars line up. You would think there is a one way to get in, but there's a fault with a stop sign to the right of the entrance. I've seen people literally drive around to use the stop and turn to cut the line. So don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that is illegal or against the rules but if Costco would close that up and not allow that, we would all be entering one way and pumping gas in the order we arrived. You can use any Visa card here after using your Costco card of course (yes, you can use your app so scan your card!). read more

Best gas prices around in this area, but unless you can get here before the Costco store opens or come after they close, there's gonna be lines and especially on the weekends. Then it gets not to be worth the 5 cents per gallon, you might save here. I will give Costco credit for having Top Tier Gas, with all the additives that more expensive brands like Chevron put in the gas. You'll miss these in cheaper no name brand gas stations. I've never had a problem with Costco gas .... Just the lines! All the pumps work well and take your Costco card or any VISA card you want. Right now my VISA card gives me 5% off gas, even at Costco. The Costco card gives just 4%. So, cheapest gas, good working pumps and quality fuel, it's 5 stars, just get here off hours to avoid the lines. $2.55 for regular today! One minor downside, no water or squeegee to clean your windshield with ..... I guess that would slow the lines. read more

Costco has some great gas prices but their lines are crazy long (and they're almost never short anytime of the week). Very convenient location if you're at Costco shopping already, but I try to avoid this area altogether when their super busy. The gas machines (whatever their called) only takes American Express or the Costco gift-cards. No other cards at all, no cash either. If you have a Sam's Club card you should get gas there because their cheaper and have much shorter lines. The Sam's Club gas station doesn't take cash but they do take most credit/debit cards. read more

Gas is great. Not too much to say. Place is super clean and fast. Love the new light system they put in to see which stalls are full or empty. The long hours, longer than the Costco store are very helpful. I can even get gas on my way to work in the morning at 630. I can't see any reason why people would buy gas anywhere else. read more

I was on my way up to Sacramento this weekend and I needed gas, so I stopped off the freeway to come to Vacaville's Costco Gas Station. It is conveniently located right off the freeway exit. And when going back to the freeway, the entrance is right around the corner. It is also strategically located at the complete opposite end of the parking lot area, away from the Costco Warehouse, so the flow of traffic getting into the gas station works well. There are plenty of pumps at this Costco Gas Station, so the lines go by fast! Instead of the usual 2 pumps that we are accustomed to seeing, I believe there are 3, maybe even 4, I forgot already. But more than what you usually see at most Costco Gas Stations. Today, the price per gallon is the same as our Vallejo Costco. I like this Costco Gas Station a lot and whenever I know I am going up toward the Sacramento area, this is where I stop to get gas. read more

So there are some pluses to getting gas at Costco. First they have a good rewards visa card which gives cash back and they are almost always the cheapest game in town. On a bigger note, a of gas stations are coming up with skimmers. Just a week ago my wife and myself were victim to credit card fraud. Same day and different places dofferent citys. It takes seconds for them to install one on a pump. The keys to these pump are universal and can be bought on line. They can install a skimmer in seconds by opening the case and plugging in there skimmer. The good thing about Costco is they have an attendant and its to busy for anyone to try it. The out of the way gas stations with pumps opposite the front of the store entrance is usually victim. Best policy is go in and pay with your card as noone will mess with the card reader while a clerk is standing there or pay cash. The lines mover pretty well at Costco so give it a shot. Cheapest gas on the way between Sacramento and the Bay Area. Always stop here for a fill-up on the way up or down. Lines are never that bad, and the layout of the gas station is a bit away from the Costco Warehouse, so you don't get cross traffic. Swipe your Costco membership card and then any debit or visa card. I always get my gasoline from here. It is soooo convenient for me because it's on my way to work and back home. It's right off the freeway, and this gas station tends to be one of the cheaper ones that I go to. Albeit, the car lines get really long during busy commute times, but it does not take that long to wait to fill up. Of course, you must have a Costco membership, and they only accept debit cards. And sometimes it's a significant savings that will make you happily mobile. For me it's always worth it to wait in the line. If you go early in the morning or near closing time you won't find a line. I left my car at Auto Center for tire service. I decided to enter store, looking to price TV Speaker. But my Wife called me saying she was picking me up and already outside. So I turned around to walk back out when all of a sudden I was confronted by a sissy-looking little Filipino. He asked accusingly "can I help you?" (blocking my exit, mind you!) I politely informed him I was just leaving (I had nothing on me!!!) He ordered me to turn around and exit the other way (if you're familiar with the Vacaville set-up, that's a long walk!)
