La Cava del Tequila is hands-down one of my favorite spots in all of EPCOT…read more The atmosphere inside the Mexico pavilion is unmatched...cozy, authentic, and the perfect escape from the Florida heat. Their margarita menu is incredible with so many unique options to try, from the avocado margarita to the classic top-shelf selections, and every drink is made perfectly. My absolute favorite is the spicy cucumber margarita. It's refreshing, flavorful, and has just the right kick without being overpowering. I genuinely think about this margarita long after leaving Disney. And I have to mention the chips & salsa! Seriously some of the best salsa I've ever had. Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect thing to snack on while sipping margaritas. If you're doing the World Showcase, this spot is an absolute must-visit. Easy 5 stars every single time.

However, Thursday, on my birthday mind you I brought some of my family into the lounge about 40 minutes before they closed.. my guests were treated well. I however was not. I needed to order something else. I really wanted a beer. They did not have any that I desire. When I complained and asked about why they are always out of stock this is what the manager said to me. He said, that's not what we do here! If you had wanted a different beverage, other than tequila, you should've gone somewhere else! Needless to say, I will never go back. I will never recommend them again. I will never take guest there. No one cared that I was treated badly. Certainly didn't matter that it was my birthday. If I were you, and I was visiting Epcot and wanted a drink. I would go to Geo, or the , or anywhere else. The attitude in this bar has gotten out of control.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

It's located close to Epcot and it has a more flavor than anything you can purchase at the Mexican pavilion. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but I highly suggest going with their enchiladas. Whatever protein you want will be cooked to perfection. Also ask for the Rosa Mexicano homemade hot sauce. It packs heats but it a power explosion of flavor. The margaritas are a highlight, made with quality tequila and fresh ingredients. The service is always friendly and attentive. You usually have two servers working your table so drinks are always full. While Rosa Mexicano seems on the pricier side if you compare it to other restaurants in the same location you will be surprised it's much cheaper and more food. It is family friendly and I would make a reservation unless you are ok with sitting at the bar. Rosa Mexicano offers a delightful blend of authentic Mexican flavors and a lively dining atmosphere, making it a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal while at Disney.

I always get a quesadilla of some kind and theirs is outstanding.. guac is top notch and a surprisingly good 'free' salsa. Everything seems remarkably fresh. The service goes above and beyond and were great on our last visit with an off handed mention of a birthday. If you're staying at one of the resorts, I highly recommend you don't skip this place. We still haven't tried breakfast, but I intend to on our next trip.

Thank you for your portions, consistency, creamy jalapeno, and Boom-Boom Sauce. Let's get into it, this casual sit down has its roots in Austin, TX. Peruse the menu while you fight the temptation to polish off a basket of their chips and salsa and Creamy Jalapeno Sauce and, speaking of the menu, it is the same here as it is back home. My go-to's include the Big As Yo Face Burrito (bean and cheese) smothered in Boom-Boom Sauce, Guacamole Soft Tacos, the Veggie Enchiladas, and when I am feeling real big back that Chuychanga (also always smothered in Boom-Boom Sauce. Chuy's has not only a great drink menu but full bar if their options are not your speed. Side note that they do not offer draft beer, but do have a selection of bottles and cans. Service has always been reliable as has the food quality. If there is a wait, you can join the wait list remote via the Chuy's website. Chuy's scratches that TexMex itch whenever we need it or an easy to get to option whenever we are leaving Disney's Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. Gracias Chuy's and see ya real soon.

The cheese relleno was delicious! Nice crispy coating with plenty of cheese filling in the pepper. Enchilada was also good, but needed some additional sauce as the chicken was a bit dry. Casual ambiance on the patio, which was dog friendly, exactly what we were looking for. The only thing holding my rating back was the service unfortunately. We had to ask several times for water refills, additional sauces, and napkins before they were brought. Overall the food was great, but the service could be improved. Would like to try again sometime soon.

Saw the fantastic reviews on this place and figured I would finally give it a shot. Boy, am I happy I did!! Mexas has quickly become one of my go-to places to eat when I am in the Orlando area- both locations, although I think I love this express location best. I've now shared it with many of my favorite people (my son, my best friend, my boyfriend) on our trips together and everyone has been blown away. The birria is fantastic, full stop. My first time, I came for street tacos.... But as soon as I tried the birria it was over for me. I haven't wanted to order anything else since. The birria quesadilla is absolutely massive and meant to be shared with at least one other person. It's a counter service spot, and they tend to be busy if you come during peak times- but food service is always fast, and every time I've had a question, they have been super friendly and patient with answers. The margaritas are strong, but decent- they are clearly premixed so nothing outstanding, but still tasty and they do the job. The guacamole is also phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and give this local spot a try!
