    Cesar Salad with shrimps
    Erika M.

Services were excellent. Ambiance was really good. The food tasted very good as well, but a couple minutes after eating it my body felt off. Cesar salad with shrimps. The greens and mixture of Cesar dressing was really really good. I think it was the way they cooked the shrimp that wasn't right.

I was in town for a conference at Rosen Shingle Creek. I grabbed dinner the first night at Mi Casa's. The service was top-notch. I was warmly greeted and given food/drink menus. I chose the chips and salsa and the beef fajitas. The fajitas were on point and arrived on a sizzling platter along with a side of flour, tortillas, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Shoutout to the wonderful staff. Keep up the great work!

I enjoyed dining here with my colleagues the first evening in the Rosen shingle Creek. I loved the table side guacamole and our waitress was very attentive. I felt the chips had an interesting flavor I believe they have some lime in them. I really enjoyed the tacos And rice and beans especially. The churros were pretty tasty but I didn't care for them being filled with Dulce de Leche. I also had the prickly pear margarita with a sugar rim. It's sweet but still tart so if that's your thing definitely order it.

Probably visited about 3 times during my stay. Each time the experience was absolutely delightful and delicious. From the service to each different dish I tried was exceptional! I had 3 different servers and 2/3 visits the manager came to check on us. I felt like a whole team was catering to me. Their home made chips is a must try!!! I tried birra tacos, steak fajitas, cheese fondue (x2), and carne asada enchiladas. Every single dish was made with quality ingredients as well as TLC !!! The arroz was soo tasty and jam packed with flavor. Inside the restaurant was clean and plenty of seating with so much seating outside the restaurant as well. Truly a nice little cantina. Overall would recommend and not what you would ever expect from a hotel restaurant!! I will be back because the resort outrageously exceeded my expectations and then some!!!'

Really wanted to love this place. Truly. Small place inside the hotel. Tables dirty all around. Including the one at which we were seated. Menu also sticky. Not boding well so far. We ordered a watermelon basil margarita and soda and opted for the queso fundido appetizer. We requested no mushrooms, but missed the CORN in the queso. So that was a surprise. The queso was decent but the corn was an odd touch that I couldn't get over. Margarita was good, which was unfortunate because the server never asked if I wanted a second one. However, the manager came over to chat and he was lovely. He was friendly and kind and was an excellent representative of the customer service we had grown accustomed to at this hotel. For dinner, we ordered chicken fajitas and steak fajitas. Price was very reasonable- especially because the portions are small. Once the server delivered our food- we never saw her again. She never asked if our meals were okay. She walked by us many times but we still had to ask someone to get her so we could get the bill. The restaurant only holds 100 people, and it wasn't full. Service was just that slow. Probably a good place for a drink but definitely not somewhere I would go back to when there are better options in the hotel.

Great fajitas, super fast friendly service, cool atmosphere, and immediately accessable from either the lobby of the hotel or the convention area

Staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel, which from my observation, is the smartest hotel I've been to in years. You don't have to worry about driving to a restaurant because they have a variety right on the main floor. The food here was top notch. Guacamole was made to perfection, it didn't last 10min at our table! My Tacos AL Pasto, finger licking good, so much flavor going on here, incredible. Our server was Anchie? Not quite sure if I have his name right, but a very nice e young man, very attentive. When he asked if we wanted large Margaritas, we were like sure. Holy $**t it barely fit in my hand but my sister in law & I made sure to finish it before we left! The seating here is few tables in, few tables out in hallway, but trust me, you won't even k ow ppl are walking past you. A good time with good food.

I arrived at the shingle creek resort and as I was walking to check in we passed this restaurant. They make guacamole fresh at your table. The aromas were amazing. The whole place smelled like good food. We had to come right back and order it. The server came out made our guacamole and took our order. We ordered the oxtail quesadilla. The quesadilla was exactly what you should expect from a quesadilla. The guacamole was lacking. It definitely needed more lime. It occurred to me after the fact that guacamole needs time for the flavors to commingle. Making it fresh at your table doesn't work if you want a five star quality. They attempt to get around this by starting with a pre made base of already commingled guacamole and adding fresh ingredients into it. It did not work for us. A little more lime might have saved the day.

My last review I urged readers to jump off the highway and run from the border (Taco Bell) to a brilliant mom and pop. This time, however, I suggest finding one. The chips at this place seemed clearly homemade but quite salty. The guacamole had an interesting flavor, but it turns out it was the same flavor as my Chile relleno. The Chile relleno batter immediately crumpled into bits in your mouth, which deadens the taste of the tomato sauce poured around it. The presentation of the chile was gorgeous, but did not reveal that the cheese inside was granular and not fully melted. The ambiance is that of a food court tucked on the side of a hotel with conference center prices (think $20 hot dog). The service, fortunately, was amazing and people watching borderline awesome as you can watch people wandering to the conference center or to the bathroom, which was near my table.

Time for some Mexican food. Santiago was a great waiter and provided exceptional service. I ordered the chicken enchiladas while the hubby ordered steak fajitas - his which were absolutely delish with the chimichurri sauce. My enchiladas were just okay. The salsa and chips were 10/10.

super cute spot, popped in here for some drinks after Calla Bella and everyone here was super friendly. We got there around 8:45-9 and they told us they do last call at 9:30. Our waitress was super funny and helpful along with the female manager and they let us stay all while they were closing to finish up our drinks (which were super yummy might i add) They also had a good selection of NA beer for all my sober babes! my only note would be to learn how to make the spicy marg spicier!!!

Good food in the Rosen. We had the rice bowel with pork and an egg on top. Perfectly seasoned and filling.

Their brunch is…read moreoffered Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM and includes bottomless margaritas for two hours. The margaritas were a pleasant surprise. They were full sized, available in several flavors, and absolutely delicious. I would return for those alone. One of the highlights of my visit was the mariachi band, which brought a fun and lively energy to brunch. I ordered the School Tacos and enjoyed them, especially the queso and sauce that came with them. My waitress, whose name started with a "G," was a gem. She was attentive, friendly, and always checking to see if I was ready for my next margarita. The only issue I encountered was confusion surrounding the bottomless margarita promotion. When I first arrived, the host was unable to answer questions about the two hour offer and had to get a manager for clarification. Later in my visit, another server incorrectly informed me that I could no longer order margaritas because brunch hours had ended, despite management already confirming that I would be able to enjoy the full two hours since I arrived before brunch ended. Thankfully, the manager on duty quickly resolved the issue and honored what had originally been communicated. While I think there is an opportunity for better staff training regarding this advertised menu item, it was not enough to ruin an otherwise enjoyable experience. Between the margaritas, live entertainment, attentive service, and fun atmosphere, I still had a great time and would gladly return for brunch.

I noticed that when a manager (I assume) saw the Fortaleza bottle he rushed over to the bartender and had a side conversation about it while looking over at us. When the bill came, I was told that we were being charged for 3 drinks rather than 2 because he gave us each 2oz pours (standard neat, but maybe he didn't know that) and was being "nice" by not charging 4 drinks. Because they were already having side conversation about it, I knew this wasn't a battle I'd win. So I paid, tipped 25% and left, but I was definitely going to leave a review. Just know going here, they will charge whatever they want for drinks and make up rules. I paid $75 for 2 drinks. I won't be back. Adding on due to the reply. The person that replied to my review was not there during my service and is lying. Neither me or the gentleman with me asked for anything other than the tequila neat, we did however have conversation about our visit to the Fortaleza Distillery in Jalisco and how they pride themselves on businesses they sell to not overcharging for their tequila. Fortaleza was NOT listed in your menu, we saw it on the shelf and asked for it neat. As a bartender NEAT is a known pour. Please don't disrespect me by making things up. As I already stated, we simply asked for clarification which is what I added in my review, paid, tipped 25% and left. A reply from the business was unnecessary, this review is for other bar goers.
