Great Mexican restaurant in downtown Kissimmee!! Large restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Fully stocked bar and delicious micheladas!! The food was also really delicious with a large variety to choose from. I wasn't as hungry and opted for tamales à la carte. I picked a chicken tamale with green sauce and OMG that salsa was and I got a pork tamale but the red sauce was horrible!! Basically canned tomato sauce which was very disappointing. So I would recommend not getting red sauce. Otherwise the other dishes were really good. The service was also very good! Friendly and fast.

Exceptional!!! Great place for Mexican food , hard to find Mexican food in Orlando area with authentic Mexican flavor , great portions and very affordable prices , the staff was very friendly and attentive. The place is very cozy and very great atmosphere, overall one gem in this area ... very recommended

Stepped in for a quick lunch and it was quick indeed. The food was ready in less than ten minutes. I ordered the lunch chicken chimichanga and it was hot, crispy and tasty. I had a fantastic server Michelle, who was kind , efficient , friendly and fast. I will be sure to ask for her the next time I visit. I love the inside of the place it looks so beautiful and show cases the beautiful Mexican culture.

Hadn't been here in a while but it's still great! I didn't know they had taco tuesdays - 2$ tacos hell yeah! Had the asada, carnitas and pastor. Had rice and beans (amazing). The horchata was fine (i like it a bit sweeter) and my friend had the agua fresca de jamaica and loved it.

I forgot to grab a pic of my tacos - but I got them with steak. Think I'd like chicken better - will try next time. Service was quick and friendly. The fried cheesecake was great. The horchata was super filling. Not as cinnamon-y as I like...and seemed to be a thicker milk. The location was easy to get in...cute outside seating - but we sat inside because it's summer in Florida. Spacious area and clean-no sticky tables.

it was dark and I was driving past and I saw El Tapatio all lit up nice and inviting so I decided to try it. Inside it's a fairly decent size restaurant. Lots of tables and booths. I was dining solo that night and kind of hungry. The appetizer selection didn't really thrill me very much. So I decided to skip it and just go with an entrée. They bought out the regular crispy chips and some salsa. Both were OK but nothing I would write home about. The server was very pleasant, very nice young lady. My order was shrimp with garlic sauce. It really wasn't all that good. There was no sauce and a lot of onions, which is fine but no sauce I mean where's the garlic sauce? My rice was dry and flavorless. My shrimp were dry and flavorous. The tortillas that they served were small and fell apart easily. They don't have any black beans in this restaurant, which I found unusual for a Mexican restaurant. And there were no refried beans on my plate, which I also found unusual for a Mexican restaurant combination. I tried explaining this to the server, but there was a language barrier. Overall, the restaurant is nice to look at and the people are friendly, but the food is really not that enjoyable. I would not go back personally.

It's the group consensus: If we could give this place 7-stars.....we would! Our resume of eating at different Mexican restaurant across the nation and Mexico, will be a couple hundred different Mexican restaurants. - Molcajete dish: Absolutely killer. -Fajita dish: Absolutely killer and great tasting char to it all. - Steak and Shrimp dish: Absolutely killer and great flavor. - Rice and Beans: Both are excellent. The vibe to this place is great. Had a guy playing the xylophone. Place looks neat inside. Last but not least: The service was stellar, attentive and on the money our whole visit.

Tonight was a I'm not cooking night ! My wonderful Husband decided he wanted Mexican ! So we Went to EL TAPATIO ON 192 / vine We were seated immediately! Even when it was getting busy ! They had LIVE MUSIC TONIGHT !! I ordered the chili rellenos dinner .. which comes with Mexican rice & refried beans ... It of course was PERFECT ! Please note : their dinners are a lot to eat ((( don't fill up on the chips & salsa ))).... Of course the chips are warm, not overly salted and the salsa is FRESH & COLD I ordered a nice ice cold corona beer! Which come with a frosted mug & Lime wedge for perfection Our waitress Magali L was super attentive- on point when my beer was low Made sure we didn't need anything !! Hubby ordered the corn tacos w/ ground beef, Cilantro in lime (& onion). He practically inhaled them! This is truly a wonderful restaurant to stop into ! Try it you'll love it !

It didn't look busy from the outside, but once we stepped in, it was clear folks knew what they were doing. There's plenty of parking, and the location is super easy to get to. Me and the kids came around lunchtime, and even though we'd never been, it felt familiar and welcoming, like we'd been there before. We were greeted and seated quickly, and our server came over within minutes to take our order. Now listen, one of my kids is picky picky, but I told her this summer we're trying new things to stretch those taste buds! We played it safe with our food choices, not knowing what to expect. Everything came out fresh in about 15 minutes, and babyyyy, that first bite had us all looking at each other like wait a minute. The food was seasoned, hot, and just hit right. We will definitely be coming back because this place? A whole vibe and a whole meal! We are definitely going to be frequent eaters to Abuelos!!

He even brought her flan with a candle on the house for her birthday We started with bacon wrapped shrimp served on a cheesy pepper. So good. It was a very pleasant experience

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.
