AMAZING Mexican restaurant offering GREAT service, a fun experience, and, of course, UNBELIEVABLE food! The chicken and shrimp fajitas were delicious, well-seasoned, and fresh. The beans and rice were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. Everyone seated at my table LOVED their meals. The prices for every item on the menu are extremely affordable for the portions served. The entire decor screams fun and good times. This restaurant is DEFINITELY a MUST on your next visit to Orlando.

Last night, we filled Añejo with joy as we celebrated our official business announcement and ribbon-cutting. We enjoyed delicious appetizers that we had thoughtfully arranged on a previous visit, and while the bar setup wasn't quite what we expected at first, the drinks were strong, flavorful, and worth the wait once everything was clarified. I only wish that orders for drinks had started from the jump, only because I know there would have been far more sales on that end from my group. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning--everyone in our group kept saying how beautiful the space felt. Not only did they enjoy staying for dinner after the ribbon-cutting, but many are already excited to come back again. Most of our guests stayed well into the evening, making the restaurant lively and full of energy on a Wednesday night that would normally be much quieter. In fact, aside from our celebration, only a handful of other families were dining on the opposite side. My heart is so full knowing that we were able to bring life, business, and celebration to this beautiful new spot in the Hunter's Creek area. A huge thank-you to Añejo and their management for welcoming us and helping make this such a memorable evening. We look forward to hosting many more moments together in the future.

Great locale Mexican. Huge portions and fair prices an very good food. We had fajitas and shrimp enchiladas. A great choice for locals or out of town visitors tired of hotel and Theme Park food.

Love the decorations. It had such a a good vibe. I've gotten different things everytime but this burrito was definitely delicious. It was even better reheated the next day.

Just tried Añejo, the newest New Mexican spot in town and it was worth the wait! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, colorful, modern, and inviting. We started with some chips and salsa and they were perfectly crisp and salsa was perfect consistency. Also tried the birria flatbread and it was so flavor and big enough to be a meal. For the main course, I had the carnitas enchiladas slow-cooked pork and it was tender, flavorful, and had just the right kick. For drinks I tried the house margarita and it was refreshing and strong. Service was friendly and had good recommendations. Really nice addition to the area.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat after going to the cute outdoor market in the street area. We were one of the first people to go into the restaurant as it was getting close to lunch. We were greeted promptly at the door and taken to our table by a nice gentleman. Warm crunchy chips and salsa were placed on our table. We ordered the chicken empanadas which came quickly and presented well. They were very delicious with tender juicy chicken inside. The shell was the perfect texture and flavor. The server was very nice and quick with service. She checked on us often and was helpful as we choose our food. It was a great experience and I recommend going there.

This restaurant is fairly new. The location is good with lots of parking around. The interior is modern and bright with nice murals. Staff is very quick and friendly. They accommodated us even we were a large group. Complimentary chips and salsa were great. Queso appetizer was good and a lot! Then I had the nachos. They were good, not the best I ever had but very friend and tasty and very large portion!!! All dishes looked beautiful as well as the cocktails did. Overall good experience. Automatic 20% gratuity tip added to your check.

Wanted some Mexican food and we were near Disney/sea world, we didn't want anything near I-Drive. This place came up and the reviews and food looked good. I get Don Julios vibes here. The place is bright and beautiful. We were quickly sat down with menus and chips and salsa. The chips were still warm. Our server brought us waters to start with. I ordered a skinny margarita and my husband ordered a Michelada and we ordered the queso dip. The dip arrived at our table very quickly and it is a large boat of cheese. And right after that, the drinks came. A skinny margarita was very good. My husband said his meat enchilada was just OK. I have to say that our server was very attentive, not overly attentive, but very attentive to coming by asking if we needed anything how things were and so on. I had ordered the Quesabirria tacos, let me just say that if you love anything Birria then you should definitely come try this place. My tacos were filled with a lot of the meat. They were very delicious. My husband had ordered the AÑEJO SAMPLER, it comes with SHREDDED CHICKEN NACHOS, TAQUITOS, BEEF CHIMICHANGA, CHEESE QUESADILLA, AND A BEEF AND BEAN CHEESE DIP. He enjoyed this plate very much and it came with a lot of food and he couldn't finish it all. My dad ordered the Beria burrito and it was a very large burrito. He said the flavor was phenomenal and he very much enjoyed this. My mom ordered the PUFFY MAHI TACOS : TWO TORTILLAS, MAHI, AVOCADO CHIPOTLE SAUCE, ONIONS, CRAB MEAT, CHEESE, CILANTRO AND BLACK BEANS. She said these tacos were very good and the avocado chipotle sauce to her had a nice kick. Overall, we had a great experience. Everything was clean. The service was great. The food was delicious. If we're back in the area, we would definitely stop back.

Visited again this time during lunch hours and got the lunch carne asada and was disappointed that it did not bring any rice. I didn't realize it until after but I did see after re reading the menu that it's supposed to bring tortillas and I didn't get them. Service was a little slow being that it was empty. But the carne asada itself was flavorful.

Outstanding Food and Exceptional Service from Viviana! We had such a wonderful dining experience at Anejo Cocina in Hunter's Creek. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best Mexican cuisine we've had, with great flavor and fresh ingredients. A huge thank you and a special shout-out to our server, Viviana! She was truly excellent, so attentive, friendly, and she made our entire visit seamless and memorable. If you are dining at the Hunter's Creek location, you absolutely must ask for Viviana! We will definitely be back. Five stars!

Let me start by saying that I have dined at this location and the winter park location before I was a member of the yelp team and each time I would say the food was a 5, however this visit it was more of a 3.5. We went in for lunch and I ordered the "create your own" plate with a crunchy beef taco and a shredded chicken enchilada. I found the chicken dry and the beef lacking flavor, but again that was this visit and I will return because of my other positive experiences. Our server was wonderful, Marla greeted us immediately, was personable and kept our drinks filled. This location in Hunters Creek is newly opened and offers a cozy dining experience, well lite, nice decor and good bar area.

We had been anticipating the opening of Anejo and we were so pleased to have finally tried it! Staff were so nice and gave us great recommendations. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. It's modern, clean, and vibrant. We had a big party and despite so many different requests, the service was great. The birria tacos were very filling and so good! The fajitas were also delicious and big enough to share. Drinks were so good too and very strong. I highly recommend it for any occasion.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

However, I would recommend leaving some extra time because my experience has varied in terms of speed of service. Make sure you know what you want to order if you're going to a show and be ready. The guacamole appetizer is very good but we didn't realize it had pineapple on top and one of the members of our party is allergic. The carne, corn, and spinach quesadilla is to die for! The combination sounds a little strange but trust me on this one...it is absolutely incredible and is now my go to every time I go! This year I told my honey the only way I would go out was if we found a place that excepted reservations. In return, I accepted that it was most likely not going to be an extraordinary, authentic, or a gem of a place. My first experience at Solita turned out to be what I manifested. Upon entering the restaurant, vibes were in full effect. No mariachi band as I would have hoped, but the but the energy in the room was happy and festive. They had a DJ providing music, but it was so loud that when our waitress read us their specials, I literally told her I could not hear her. She did greet us with salsas, chips, and these little wheels I read a lot about. They had a similar texture to a chicharron and were simply delightful! Probably my favorite component I sampled all night. Since I had never been to Solita, I checked out Yelp to do my research. One thing I was excited to try was their "Duckie Frozé". It had Rosé, fruit purée, frozen margarita with your choice of flavor: watermelon, pomegranate, or guava. Adorning the top of the drink was a darling little rubber duckie. There are TONS of pictures of this drink on Yelp. Much to my surprise, my drink arrived with NO DUCK. When I asked the waitress about it, she shrugged it off said they "don't do that anymore". It may sound like a small thing to be disappointed about, but really that was just the start. Luckily, Cinco was on Tuesday this year, so we were able to order from the "Taco & Tequila Tuesday" discounted menu. We started off with the Grilled Corn Elote which is served tableside. I thought this would be cool, but it wasn't. It was a bit painful watching the waitress struggle to shave the corn off. I almost wanted to offer help! After all that, the corn was just ok. I personally think the Elote I make at home is better. Thankfully this was on the Tuesday Menu also making it only $5. While perusing their selections prior to going, I felt that their taco prices were a bit steep. They have two types of taco sizes. The Street Tacos looked itty bitty with next to nothing on them. They do have a lot of flavor choices (11), and you get 3-4 tacos for about $20. Glad I saw photos of these on Yelp beforehand. Then they have Tacos Locos. They are described as "One large taco" when in fact they are just regular sized tacos overflowing in toppings. Just ONE Tacos Locos costs about $15! I think the pricing is loco, and based off what we'd tried so far, I was certain to only order from the Tuesday menu. We were able to get a Shrimp Chicharron for $6 and a Vampiro (Chicken or Carnitas) for $8. The shrimp one was appetizing. I even remember thinking after the first few bites that I should have just gotten two of those. Then I tried a piece of chicken from my Vampiro. It was a piece of straight fat that I immediately spit out. That pretty much killed it for me, and I didn't even eat anymore of the Vampiro or anything else for that matter. The positives of the evening included: -Getting into a spot to celebrate on Cinco De Mayo -The food came out quicker than expected based on the reviews -Trying a new restaurant and learning that it's nowhere I will be returning to or recommending. Knowledge is power.

I believe they have several locations in the area, and this is a newer one with very welcoming and modern interiors. They have wonderful daily specials and various happy hour periods that extend from 2 to 10 PM, including $3 tacos from 8 until 10 PM. Meals start off with complimentary chips and salsa (4.5/5), which are happily refilled upon request. We tried a variety of tacos (5/5) which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The vegetarian San Jose's fajita bowl (4.5/5) was tasty and served in a generous portion that is ideal for sharing. The cheese quesadilla (5/5) hit all the fresh flavor notes without the cheese being too sharp in taste. The churros (5/5) were the perfect dessert, having a slightly crunchy exterior and softer core as you bit into it. We loved the food and atmosphere so much that we visited twice the same week while visiting the Orlando area. Service (4.5/5) was excellent on our first visit, and slightly slower on our 2nd visit, but still incredibly friendly with management checking in on customers to make people were enjoying their meals. Overall, I'd rate the food and experience a 4.5/5, but happy to round up since San Jose's is right up my alley for an ideal Mexican meal that is delicious and doesn't gouge you with prices like other restaurants tend to do. I'll gladly return on future trips to the Orlando area and will be recommending them to others, as San Jose's would crack my rotation of a Mexican restaurants I'd regularly visit if I lived locally.
