My friend and I were looking for crêpes while we were exploring around the city and found this place. There were a couple of men holding down the front, where you ordered off the menu that was posted and they fix the food right there. They did have a small inside area with some tables and bar top area with stools. I got the Nutella Banana Coconut crêpe and my friend got a savory one with ham and cheese, etc. We both LOVED the crêpes. My friend got a cappuccino and I order a café long, which just meant he added more hot water to it, since I'm not a big espresso fan, and I drink my coffee without cream or sugar. Nice little street creperie by the plaza. The menu is in French and English (Helpful) but the night that we were there it was French only. They had a string Arabic accent so we hit a minor snag with my pigeon French. Crepes run to the crispy side, y'all but nice quality, simple street food. So much food! Three crepes for two people - a cheese, a cheese & ham and a banana & nutella for 14 euro and we couldn't finish it all. The guy making our crepe must have loaded about 1/2 lb of cheese on the crepe. It was so delicious but also so very filling. We found this place while walking around in the morning before our flight and there wasn't any line. I was surprised to see this shack was actually really good and had great reviews. There was one guy making crepes. I ordered the lemon, butter and sugar crepe. Simple but sweet and complimented the crepe instead of masking it behind sweetness. We got a bacon, egg and cheddar crepe (it was kind of weird having cheddar in France instead of all the other great cheeses) - the buckwheat crepe this came wrapped in was very yummy. We also got an apple / cinnamon crepe - be warned that this is actually applesauce, not apple slices. Perhaps due to overly sugared American tastes, we did feel that this crepe could use a bit more sugar / cinnamon or something - but the crepe itself was still delicious. Creperies are aplenty in Paris and this was the treat we needed to end our evening. Step up and order the blue canopy after reviewing their long list of options on their menu board. I had the nutella and banana crepe and asked for whipped cream. Don't mind too much that they frown upon the whipped cream. They do offer it so, order it if you like. I did and it made the crepe so much better. I just wish they had strawberries or ice cream. read more

Love this place! We have only been nearby for three days and have already visited 3 times. They are very nice and appreciate when I tried to speak my not so amazing French! Caramel and Nutella and Banana have been our favorites . The crepes are made in front of you so it's truly awesome! We also had a panini that was great! When you see the sandwiches they look like subs and afterwards they are pressed and easy to eat on the go. Prices are reasonable and you truly are getting great food!
