Stopped in for the antiques and stayed for the food. Kiddos loved the hotdog and burger, wife…read morethoroughly enjoyed the soup. Delightful to have chickens running about as we ate and were invited to meet Junior the 26 y/o mini horse. The call for food being ready with a bell was also fun. Enjoyed for sure!

This is a food trailer in a permanent location next to an antique shop. They (or rather, she; I…read morethink it's a one-person operation) serve burgers, hot dogs, fries, Philly cheese steak, poutine, and - most uncommonly - pea soup, which explains the name Pea Soup Kitty. We tried the pea soup last year and weren't impressed; it was thin and watery. But kudos for having something different on the menu. Go up to the window, place your order. Wander around, talk to the free range chickens, peruse the "antiques" in the open garage and inside the building. Kitty rings a bell when the food is ready and you pick it up and take it to your car, or outside table if you're brave. Beware, this place is quite the dive. The chairs are worn out with upholstery peeling, the tables aren't the cleanest and are mismatched and are situated under the narrow overhang close to some of the wares, some for sale and some apparently abandoned. The shop is more of a junk store than antiques but there's nothing wrong with that. Spend some time looking and you just might find exactly what you were looking for. I got the burger special with was mushroom and Swiss. Burger was cooked to order (I didn't expect to be asked here), and came out as I requested (medium). It was pretty good, I'd say about a 6 oz burger, the cheese plentiful and nicely melted, and ketchup available at the counter. The fries were very good: hand-cut, with skins, nicely browned, though maybe a bit oily. I thought the portion on the small side though. A pickle on the side would have completed this lunch but none was offered. The chickens were entertaining and I was soon surrounded by a small crowd while I ate. I fed them small crumbs occasionally. Watch your hands though. Don't dangle them below the table. They will mistake your fingers for treats! A quirky, fun place to get a quick lunch. I wouldn't change a thing. Well, maybe improve the pea soup and upgrade the tables but that's about it.

On a long roadtrip nearing dinner time and this was the spot we decided to stop as it was right on…read moreour route. So no detours was a big plus. The host who sat us was friendly and greeted us with a smile. Our server was also friendly and helped with menu questions. She did say her favorite thing was the Alfredo sauce that I did not happen to try but will make sure to try if I stop here again. She sold it well especially a Cajun version they have. Also despite the BBQ menu picture I posted they are currently rebuilding their BBQ so it's not currently available. The inside did feel a little dated overall as from some reviews and the date they were posted this place has been around for awhile. But I assume it's a spot where many locals come often and gather to see each other while grabbing a bite or drink. Both my wife and I didn't want anything too crazy with a long ways to still go on our trip. Each of us chose one of their wraps, I went with chicken ranch and she went with the chicken Cesar. Both were tasty but I preferred the chicken tenders used in mine over the grilled in the Cesar. Both were very tasty though. They have a large variety of offerings on their menu, wraps, burgers, pizza, pastas, soups, salads, etc. Everyone will find something they can eat. When you are brought the bill you are told its price for cash and card will be charged a 3% fee. So if you have cash it will be cheaper so you are aware. Overall prices aren't the highest or lowest kinda average in my mind. I thought the service was great and friendly, food was good but not mind blowing. Worth checking out.

Look at James T.'s review. Basically the same thing, but for dinner…read more We went to the Father's Day Buffet last night. When we walked in, we waited a while to be greeted and seated, even though there were no other customers in front of us. One server walked right past without even acknowledging us. The salad bar was shameful. Some of the toppings were soaking in ice water from the set up. The meatballs tasted worse than Spaghettio meatballs. The soup tasted like it came from a can or a bag. The Alfredo sauce was inedibly broken. The entire buffet table was dirty and the carpets were absolutely filthy and disgusting. Our server seemed like she just did not care. We were really hungry and hoping for a decent meal, but we were incredibly disappointed and regret making the 25 minute drive to eat here.
