The walls are covered w/ wine bottles and menu's are written on chalk boards with white chalk, creates a special environment. The somolier also chose very good wine to pair with the food and it was reasonably priced. We were 6 all together and we managed to order all but 2 things that were on the menu and I must say everything was excellent. The starters included a broccoli soup w/ lime chantilly and smoked Salmon, this was really tasty. The root vegetable and crispy tart w/ meat was delicious the rock octopus w/ beans in a Mediterranean salad was awesome! Finally the lightly poached egg w/ mashed celery in chantelly cream was also very good. Our main courses were a fillet of sea-bass w/ artichoke, olives, red peppers and anchovies. The Pluma de patanegra with mashed potatoes was awesome this pork dish had so much flavor that I would have licked the plate had nobody been looking, really great. The double pork chop was very tasty with garlic juice and "granille"potatos. The hanger steak was also really good as well as the ravioli stuffed with "double nicoise", onions, mushrooms and slow cooked ham. Finally the dessert were really good as well, my favorite was the waffle! this was delicious, homemade w/ cream and a chocolate caramel drizzled on top. Both were incredible! Was impressed with the quality of beef and the veal was a thick cut that my husband thoroughly enjoyed! Lemon tart for dessert was delicious! Great wine list, what the owner recommended complimented our meal very nicely! And the best part was her recommendation for a tapas place in Barcelona. The owner was wonderful and I would highly recommend Coco & Rico for a lovely dinner on the streets of Nice!
