Great sandwiches in the Allentown downtown area. Little difficult to find. I had the chicken Caesar wrap would recommend!

They have burritos, bowls, salads, tacos and quesadillas. I wasn't super hungry, but my husband was so he decided to get tacos. You get THREE tacos in an order, and you can pick a different protein for each one if you'd like. They have tofu and veggie options for vegetarians, which is amazing. Next you'll add your toppings, such as veggies, cheese, guacamole, etc. We added a side of chips & queso and WOW! I think they make the chips in-house because they were very fresh. And the queso was different than what I'm used to as a born-and-raised Texan...however it was INCREDIBLY TASTY! This was a wonderful surprise seeing as this restaurant is located in Pennsylvania (which isn't exactly known for good Tex-Mex, if you feel me). The icing on the cake is that the staff members were so friendly! I always appreciate good service, and I feel like they went above and beyond here, especially considering that this is a counter-service type restaurant. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area!

We were only in town for the weekend and I was so sad I couldn't go back Sunday since they were closed. The staff was so KIND and genuinely enjoying their jobs. Very welcoming environment and so delicious.

The bar area is a handsome space, and I was surprised to see that there were barely a handful of people dining. It was a Tuesday night, however. I ordered a cosmopolitan and asked for Cointreau instead of triple sec, but they didn't have any. The cocktail was fine nonetheless. I started with the agrodolce and Parmesan Brussels sprouts. They were fried until almost burned and were very greasy. The bartender graciously took them back and returned with another order. They were less burnt and greasy, and I ate them all, but they weren't great. For my entrée, I ordered chicken Marsala with fettuccine. The menu says that all pastas are homemade. The pasta and mushrooms looked beautiful and were cooked perfectly. The chicken was overcooked, but just barely, unfortunately. The entrée had almost no flavor. The pasta was tasteless, along with the mushrooms and chicken. The rich, silky Marsala sauce you'd expect was absent. I asked the bartender for salt and pepper, which he provided, and that did make a big difference in the flavor profile. I ate everything on the plate, and the food was satisfying, but it was mostly unremarkable. I enjoyed a delicious John Sloat Cabernet Sauvignon offered by the glass. The tiramisu I enjoyed for dessert was the best part of the meal. It was delicious and everything you'd expect. The bartender was exceptionally professional and gracious throughout my dining experience; it appeared to me that he's an asset to this business. On my next return trip here for work, I'll look to dine elsewhere. The food warrants 2 stars and the service warrants 5 stars. It's too bad, this is a great location, a handsome space, and a great bar.

The food is always fast and fresh, and the place is clean. The proprietors, Mike and Mohammed are very nice and knock themselves out accommodating your deli desires, whatever they are. Mohammed is an artist, not just with the sandwich, but also a painter. He did the mural along the wall and the mosaic on the floor. If you stop in often, notice how he keeps adding to the mural. They also do catering. I have ordered sandwich trays that were a hit with a crowd and hummus, baba ganoush, and cucumber salad that people also liked. All good. All the time. I have told many people about this place and they have all been really happy with the food and service and thanked me. For a lot of people, it's their new favorite deli. I'm a fan. Two recent experiences have led me to avoid the place. 1) I noticed that the person who prepares the food sometimes wears those plastic gloves, sometimes not. When he does wear the gloves, he does not remove them when handling money or after touching other people. So, what is the point of those gloves? Ick. 2) I ordered the $1.99 special sandwich of the day. The guy behind the counter asked me if I wanted it with a hero bun. I replied, 'Sure'. So he made the sandwich then charges me $6 for it. When I mentioned the $1.99 sign, he replied that is only for a small bun and he already made the sandwich on the hero bun. He said I could pay 'only $5' for the sandwich he already prepared. I paid, but left the deli feeling ripped off over $3. If the $1.99 is for only a certain type of sandwich bun, it should be on the sign and they should not try to up-sell through such tricky methods.

Unfortunately, there was a strong cold draft at floor level, leaving our feet uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. The hostess was sweet and greeted us with a smile. The food service was unremarkable. Our waiter was not particularly friendly nor personable. The drinks were a weak start. The red sangria was poor. The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.
