    Media noche is perfect!

During a trip to New York, we were told that El Punto was a must!! We made it, there were so many options. We could not make up our mind, so we left with 3 sandwiches. Media noche (ham and pork), El Gordito, and Pavo lechon... One we are there, one we ate the airport (which was where we were headed once we left here), and one we ate on the plane. They were all delicious!! If I had to pick my favorite, it would probably be the pavo lechon (turkey and pork). The place looks super sketchy from the outside, but it was worth the drive. If you're on the Eastcoast make sure you make the drive. I was only able to get one picture in, but they were all good!! The one in the picture is the media noche. All of my friends were very happy once we had our sandwiches.

Bifstec encebollao" ( steak sandwich w/ onions)

How dare they proclaim this establishment as a Puerto Rican sandwich spot, it was nothing of the sort no criollo flavors, no onions in the sandwich in the first order...I went back the "cook made me another sandwich and guess what NO ONIONS!! on the second one eitherI couldn't understand why this place shad four stars maybe it's because of the big sandwich that's the only thing this establishment has going for itself other than that no flavor it lacked the criollo flavor. I DO NOT!!! recommend the sandwich at all.

Food coma. Seriously good food coma. That's what you're getting yourself into when you decide to venture here. My bistec con huevo sandwich was the size of a small baby. 9-10 inches for those who want specifics. So maybe the size of a small premature baby... Don't judge, I'm writing this mid-coma, it may or may not be coherent. Parking is easy enough with several spots available. Not much of a sit down area inside as the tables were more bar style. The place is clean. The door into the storage/pantry area was open so I took a peek. Everything was organized & clean, no random things on the floor. A giant menu overhead is in Spanish and English but no prices listed. However there is a corkboard to the right of the counter that has little menus tacked up with pictures & prices. Most are $5-6 with a few $7-8 for the big ones combining seafood & meats. The bread is fresh and crusty (I have a feeling they're from Egypt Star bakery), the meats well seasoned, and the toppings are perfect complements all combined for some seriously good eat. The tripleta sandwich my sister had was also delicious. The usual toppings are lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayo, but we opted only the first two. It's good. So good. I'm already contemplating a return kind of good. P.S. Also has a lot of jugos naturales, or fresh juices, and they're delish. Not so sure about them being fresh squeeze kind of juices since I got the quanabana (soursop - can't exactly squeeze those LOL), but it was so refreshing! Plenty of other exotic fruits are available as well as the regular orange, lemon, mango, etc... juices.

OMG the best sandwiches in the valley, I love coming here, the shrimp and steak is amazing, the place kinda creepy from the outside but you must try it out, give it a try you will not be sorry, very cheap prices too.

Pretty basic, don't be fooled by the surroundings. Authentic Puerto Rican Latino sandwiches.

Authentic, tasty, deliciouso! Don't be intimidated by the sense that if you don't speak or read Spanish you are not welcome! They will take all US currency in any denomination!!. The Cubans are fantastico!

I'd been looking forward to their breadsticks again but this time they were served in a bowl instead of a plate so all the butter and olive oil just pooled and made the undercooked breadsticks soggy and doughy. We did have the calamari this time and we all really liked it. Super crispy and a nicely spiced sauce. My husband had the blackened mahi sandwich. It was neither blackened nor completely cooked through. It was such a busy night the waiter didn't stop by to check on us so we didn't have an opportunity to send it back to cook a bit more. We also had two pizza that needed about another 2 minutes in the oven. I'm sure most of the issues stemmed from it being a busy Saturday night. We may revisit but certainly won't go out of our way to come back.

The menu offers a unique twist on traditional pub dining. While you'll find classic favorites like wings and burgers, the restaurant also features tavern style pizzas and sushi. My friends and I dropped in for the first time last Thursday. Overall, it was a mixed experience. Some of the dishes were well executed and enjoyable, while others fell short of expectations. We started with Chipotle honey tavern wings, Wisconsin cheese curds, and nachos. I also had a crock of French onion soup. The wings were sweet, crispy, and easily the standout. The cheese curds were decent but slightly under-fried. The nachos were awful, with barely any toppings and mostly crushed, bottom of the bag chips. The French onion soup was hot, flavorful, and topped with onion straws. After the appetizers I moved onto the BBQ pulled pork mac & cheese. It's made with a five cheese sauce, macaroni, pulled pork, and seasoned breadcrumbs. While it sounded promising, the flavors didn't quite come together. It was decent, but not something I'd order again. One of my friends ordered the chicken vodka dream, a much better choice than mine. The hand breaded cutlet, homemade vodka sauce, fresh mozzarella, and pesto made for an awesome sandwich. The sweet potato fries were undercooked and bland, but the sandwich more than made up for it. Service was great overall. Tyler was attentive and very helpful with the menu, and the manager checked in a few times, which is always appreciated. The only downside was timing. Appetizers took awhile, and entrees followed almost immediately after. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Happy hour is Mon - Fri 3PM - 6PM. When I realized I would have to choke it down; it was dry as a bone. I had to open it up to look at the roast beef. For years it was always pink or light red. The way I like it. The roast beef in my sandwich was purely brown. I wondered what happened and here is what the General Manager of Jersey Mike's had to say: Sorry you were not happy with your sub. We used to bake the roast beef in the store, but not anymore. It comes in pre-cooked and it's never red/pink these days. JERSEY MIKE'S FRANCHISE WAS RECENTLY SOLD! i knew that happe ned a few months ago but was not expecting their cost cutting would include selling dry, choke inducing roast beef. I'm sure future future surprises await me. Not good ones! I was emailed quickly by the General Manager of my store emailed me to apologize as mt negative review crossed his desk. The Offer: 15% off my next sub. I emailed back saying the 15% discount is offensive and unacceptable. I told him to keep the 15%. No more roast beef subs at Jersey Mike's for me!

I was wrong. There were so many choices it was hard to decide. I had the French onion soup which was so delicious and had lots of melted cheese on top. Could use a few more onions but still delicious as is. Then I had the house salad and added salmon. The salad was so fresh and had cran-raisins, fresh blueberries and candied pecans. The portion was large. It was a gourmet salad. The best part was the salmon was cooked to perfection. It's a hard fish to cook and not over cook. It was moist and tasty. Kudos to the chef. My Husband had the Cobb salad with chicken. He really liked it a lot and it was a good entree size. Nicolette was our server. She was great. Food came out timely and she was always checking on us. They do have typical bar foods like chicken wings, burger, nachos etc. so you have something for everyone. Seating: bar area, separate indoor dinning area, patio dinning too.
