Used to love this place. The food is still good however the prices went up and the phone is almost ALWAYS disconnected.

This used to be an awesome place to eat with reasonable prices good fresh food and fresh natural juices that were amazing and tasted good. After this management change not only is ordering more difficult but the food quality and taste is not the same. Be there in a few minutes the fresh homemade juices are now dispensed out of a machine and they taste watered down and disgusting. Bought a traditional drink morir soñado and now it tastes like orange juice and water. I'm not sure if they have a new cook but even the sandwiches taste different. I don't mind paying money for good food but when you're used to having sandwiches from there and they taste a certain way and now the prices have gone up and the food quality has gone down it's not good anymore. We spent $25 on one steak sandwich today and one drink and it was definitely not worth it. It's a shame because we went to this place at least once a week and we've just made the decision that we will not be going there anymore. read more

During a trip to New York, we were told that El Punto was a must!! We made it, there were so many options. We could not make up our mind, so we left with 3 sandwiches. Media noche (ham and pork), El Gordito, and Pavo lechon... One we are there, one we ate the airport (which was where we were headed once we left here), and one we ate on the plane. They were all delicious!! If I had to pick my favorite, it would probably be the pavo lechon (turkey and pork). The place looks super sketchy from the outside, but it was worth the drive. If you're on the Eastcoast make sure you make the drive. I was only able to get one picture in, but they were all good!! The one in the picture is the media noche. I have visited this place many times when visiting friends in Hellertown. It is an ABSOLUTE must to eat here. I would call this place a "dive-ish" sandwich spot because from the outside you wouldn't think the work of art comes from that kitchen. The sandwiches look basic but are far from it. I usually get the aire,tierra, y mar which means air , land and sea. It is so delicious and tasty that one is never enough. When possible I have taken one to go. The décor inside is non existent but trust me, don't worry about décor. Go here simply for the sandwiches. I would recommend to everyone and anyone in the area. The people that work here are pretty helpful if you have questions but be ready to wait a little for the food. They make it fresh so it takes a little while. Either way, stop by and enjoy! read more

These are simple but absolutely delicious hot panini-style sandwiches at very affordable prices, around $5 - $6 on average. They offer a wide variety of choices from every food group - steak, pork, chicken, fish, various deli meats and egg (not too sure about the vegetarian options). Most of the menu is in Spanish but if you're unsure, just ask! The Cubans sammies are very good but my favorite by far is the almighty tripleta. It's a delectable sandwich made with pulled pork, ham and chicken together with cheese, mayo and everything else that is good in this world that is dripping of delicious warm grease. Mmmm!!! The place is clean. The door into the storage/pantry area was open so I took a peek. Everything was organized & clean, no random things on the floor. A giant menu overhead is in Spanish and English but no prices listed. However there is a corkboard to the right of the counter that has little menus tacked up with pictures & prices. Most are $5-6 with a few $7-8 for the big ones combining seafood & meats. The bread is fresh and crusty (I have a feeling they're from Egypt Star bakery), the meats well seasoned, and the toppings are perfect complements all combined for some seriously good eat. The tripleta sandwich my sister had was also delicious. The usual toppings are lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayo, but we opted only the first two. It's good. So good. I'm already contemplating a return kind of good. P.S. Also has a lot of jugos naturales, or fresh juices, and they're delish. Not so sure about them being fresh squeeze kind of juices since I got the quanabana (soursop - can't exactly squeeze those LOL), but it was so refreshing! I've been coming to EL Punto for years. The food is always good but the wait times could improve. Average wait time is around 15-20 minutes however their sandwiches are fantastic. I would give them a 5 but the long wait times only merit them a 4. read more

This is a bit of a hole in the wall, which in and of itself isn't a problem. Lots of holes in the wall have great food and service. However, I felt misled by the 4.5 star reviews which prompted me to stop here. I came in expecting pastelios, rice, chicken and beans, etc, and found a pretty basic sandwich shop. Again, no issue as maybe that was my ignorance. I ended up ordering chicken fingers and fries. Fries were mushy and unappetizing, and the fingers were small and mediocre.
