Glad to see an alternative to a very popular halal place I usually frequent, but this one is closer to home! I was very excited to try this restaurant when I learned of it and eventually had 2 of their items delivered. The packaging of the platter was well above my expectations while the gyro was a little messier than I expected. Right off bat the seasoning of the fries were really good and were somewhat soggy but that may have been due to the fact that it was sitting in a sealed container. The chicken reminded me of an indian-style tandoori chicken with how red it appeared. The tenderness of the chicken was well received as well as that flavor..wow, would be my first time favoring the chicken more than the lamb gyro protein. The lamb was okay, pretty average.. I get really skeptical whenever halal places have cubed gyro meat as it often means that it was packaged or frozen etc. and not prepared fresh off the spit roast slow-cooked over flame. Under it all awaited the amazingly marinated rice soaking up all the juices from the protein that completely took me by surprise as I was half expecting the typical yellow rice here. The rice paired with actual quality salad on the side blew me away and made me forget about "that other halal place." The portion size was excellent and left me full with just the platter but i took a couple bites of the falafel gyro because it looked good despite how messy it was. It was alright, i've had better falafel but this one was above average i'll give it that. The gyro takes the same salad as that which was in the platter with some falafel. It comes down to whether you are in a pita flatbread kind of mood or a rice mood that day. I really preferred their platter. Both can be topped with their white sauce, spicy red sauce, bbq sauce, green sauce, mango habanero sauce, honey bbq and ranch sauce. I recommend going crazy with the sauces hehe. I look forward to coming in person to their brick and mortar location when the weather permits to get a better representation of what their service is like and if it tastes any better fresh off the grill. The physical location I heard is in a rather spicy spot in town so I would advise caution and be aware of your surroundings. Will update my review in the future! Update: was expecting the food to come out piping hot while hearing the chef at work in the kitchen and none of my expectations were met when I ordered at their physical location. I tried this at the recommendation of my wife and people with whom she works. I did not know what to expect. I had never had halal food before. I will be having it again. I got the chicken over fries with white sauce. The chicken is marinated and seasoned. It practically falls apart in your mouth. It has a little heat to it, not overwhelming. The seasoned fries are really good too. Not just some frozen seasoned fry, this is a homemade season and it shows. My wife got the falafel platter. The falafel is great. Her favorite part is the salad. She would eat just that if it was on the menu. She got it with hot sauce and it has a nice kick to it. I would get this again. read more

It was our first time here and if we lived closer, we'd definitely be regulars. We ordered a 8 piece family fried chicken with fries. The chicken was fresh, hot, juicy, crispy and perfectly seasoned! The fries were just as good! The person who took our order was very patient and kind. I questioned whether or not the seasoned fries were spicy (my little girl has a very sensitive palate and does not like anything spicy) and he brought out a sample for my little girl to try. Love that he did that! The owner also came out and made some small talk with us. He was super nice and told us to just let him know if we needed anything. My husband asked for a specific sauce and and he gladly brought it out along with another sauce for us to try. Would definitely be back if we are ever in the area again. The only thing I would do differently is to call our order ahead of time. This was the first time I had halal food, let alone as a last resort for dinner, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. For the price they ask for a platter, your stomach is filled to the brim with food that tastes like there's a party in your mouth. In an already culturally diverse area like Lehigh County, this is a more than welcome addition. I'll definitely eat here again. We made a stop at Halal Grill after a long road trip and we were very excited to find this location to break our fast. The moment you walk in you will notice that the place is very customer friendly, clean and always ready to serve! We ordered through their Kiosk machine and waited for about 15 minutes for the food to arrive (not bad considering how busy they were!). While the place was busy handling take-out and mobile orders, we decided to dine in and enjoy the experience. We ordered their lamb and falafel platters, but Mohammad was generous enough to offer us free pieces of chicken to try it out (we were glad he did!). Not only did their chicken pieces taste so good, the smoked rice that came with the platters was outstanding! Coming from a Mediterranean background, I was absolutely impressed by the flavor of their rice and the spicy aroma that made this one of their true signature items. The portions were generous, though I recommend you add their pita bread to any of their platters to make your meal complete. We look forward to making another stop at this excellent eatery when crossing eastern PA on our future road trips. read more
