10 Stars! Went on the Sin & Suds Beer Tour and our tour guide Vince was great. He was friendly,…read moreextremely knowledgable, funny, enthusiastic and someone who had a passion for beers and Chicago. He gave us an education on beer and what to look for, a mini-architectural tour on the walk between bars and lots of stories about the sinful past of Chicago, especially during prohibition. My favorite story was about Gentle Annie Stafford and how she got her man to put a ring on it. ;) We went to four bars, we were provided with several generous shares of beer at each location, each one different and tasty. What I enjoyed about these types of tours, is a local guide takes you to places that locals go to, I wouldn't know to come to these bars otherwise. What makes it even more enjoyable is that you get to meet other people, we had a bachelor party and a few couples on our tour and it was fun meeting new people, sharing a beer and was provided a slice of Chicago style pizza at our last beer stop. Well worth the time and money for both beer enthusiasts and we even had a non-drinker on the tour for a tag-along. Be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfy shoes, in total we walked about an easy 1.5 miles. Ask for Vince, he knows his stuff and ask him about the Bruce Willis Tower ;).

I don't wanna seem like a beer snob, but the beers served on this tour is subpar.. actually rather…read moreawful quality.. the walk, the tour guide, and the history of the places are AWESOME. Really enjoyed all of that but really didn't take more than a sip of any of the beers served... I don't go on a lot of boat tours or anything. I went with my class of 70 and some faculty/alum and…read morethings went smoothly! The weather was phenomenal-high of 75 and sunny. It was a bit windy but overall good! Let me tell you tho, at one point the chair pillows all the way up top flew off and tumbled into the water. It made a splash! A view and a show! Beautiful view, not to rocky or anything and just all around beautiful view of navy pier/ Chicago! I enjoyed my time and the food was solid. It was buffet style and a good variety. The vegetarian options were decent as well. I think the main course was better than the dessert. The dessert was lacking. Overall would go, I'm curious to see how packed it would be on a different date.

Love them all. There's lots of space to dance and lots of people to get friendly with. Need to go one more time before it gets too cold out. Prices are a little steep, but depends on how much you plan to drink... Bacardi/coke is $12? not sure, it's not like I'm there to fall overboard, it's a good time. That's all that matters. you're on a boat in Lake Michigan, enjoying the beautiful skyline, great company and it's perfectly ok to spend a few extra $$ to enjoy yourself. Oh yeah, if you think you'll be sitting all night, visit the lower levels... should be plenty of space down there. If you plan on moving, get to the top and stand up!

These guys are awesome, we took Irish Express for the ND/USC game and it was a great experience…read more 100% the best way to get from Chicago to a ND game, regardless of who you're rooting for, and well worth the price. Most stress free ND trip I've ever had. Check-In was easy and the buffet at the bar was good (actual restaurant food breakfast - eggs, potatoes, bacon, pancakes, etc.) and we were able to get a few free drinks before boarding. Buses were nice enough, no leather seats or anything like that but definitely solid coach buses. All you can drink bar on the way there and back with quality alcohol (Goose Island beer, Jack, Tito's, Tanqueray, etc.) as well as snacks on the ride in. The tailgate area was plenty big and had a bunch of games set up under tents as well as tables and chairs and TV's, tons of food and open bar. We didn't stay long as we were meeting friends but this would be a great place to tailgate prior. Bus ride back had sandwiches and an open bar. We were even able to get a free drink once we got back to Chiacgo at the pick up/drop off bar. Everybody that works for Irish Express was really nice, from check-in to our bartender on the bus, they made sure everyone had a great time. Don't even think twice about booking with these guys for a ND game.

For $125/pp, I got a round trip bus ride to south bend, unlimited non alcoholic drinks, and a sandwich and chips and drinks on the way back. With a convenient pick up and drop off location it was a very convenient option and a good value. For those wanting more of a party there are ticket options with an open bar. I would absolutely recommend this service.

This tour was a fantastic taste of the different pizzerias in Chicago and quite informative…read more We met our hosts at the starting location this afternoon and were instantly met with warm smiles and a greeting. We had four people in our tour group which made for a wonderfully personal tour and we were able to ask plenty of questions. Our main guide Lauren was very informed and had great information and stories that weren't the cliche bus tour kind of facts. It was great to get to meet the general managers of several of the pizzerias and not have to fight through the bustling crowds to get your food. Kevin and Lauren share a passion for both pizza and the city of Chicago. We went on this tour early in our trip and learned of dozens of little places to see during the rest of our stay. The best way I can describe this is getting the inside look inside of Chicago pizza and culture from a local couple who quickly make you feel welcome and at ease as you experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of Chicago.

We felt that the tour needed more material about pizza, history, Chicago, restaurants, etc. We weren't convinced our tour guide had a lot to work with and they needed to fill time. For example: a "clever" story about the Marina Towers and pizza seemed more like a planned attempt at filling time than information about pizza and Chicago. 4. We enjoyed the cameradie among the people on the tour and thought Gabe did a nice job of encouraging interaction. Overall do we think it is worth the full price ($40)? Nope. Do we feel it was worth the group-on price ($20 ea.)? Not really. Not enough material both pizza and information wise.
