This place is under new ownership and is a pathetic shell of what it used to be. Prime planting season and virtually no inventory in the main shopping selecting area. A fraction of the inventory is out and not in very healthy shape. The new owners are apparently a husband and wife team. The husband admits he doesn't know much about where the specific inventory is and asks his wife for help. She speaks very little English but at the end you figure out they don't have what you're looking for. Common everyday garden stuff. Nothing exotic. I loved giving local small businesses my time and money. I'd go here before going to the big box stores. Not anymore. Don't waste your time thinking this will be your one-stop gardening visit. You will likely be very disappointed. Lastly, this place used to be busy to the point of having a tough time finding a parking spot. The place was buzzing with customers every day... not just weekends. I found myself there on a Monday morning and spent 30 minutes there. I was the only one there during that time. That speaks volumes to me. I predict this will be a one season ownership before it will be sold or closed up. Let's see.

Pulled up close and was immediately scolded by a man. Explained that my friend has a walker and difficulty walking. We proceeded to purchase $30 worth of plants. Went to back out and the guy came up to my window screaming that I was going to hit planters and telling other customers that they'd better watch out because this "silly bitch" was going to hit them. His command of the English language didn't end there. After a few more misogynistic, vile words came out of his disgusting mouth I realized he wasn't worth my time. Chalked it up to him just being an insecure, very sad little man. Asked him if he was the owner and he refused to say. Went back later and asked around. Ends up it was Lou, the owner. Well Lou. You should really learn something about customer service, and more importantly, accept that you are a weak little man who is intimidated by women who dare to stand up to your foolishness. And just FYI, part of the reason I chose to take my friend to Ercolanos was to also drop off landscaping plans for my entire yard. Am in the process of pricing out nurseries. Guess Lou just cost his own business a nice chunk of change. Oh well Lou. And be warned, you might want be careful who you call a "silly bitch" going forward. The next woman might not take it as well as I did.
