Ray's is a family-owned business that may not have a HUGE selection of different kinds of flowers and vegetables, but it is pretty broad. And what they do have is always very good quality. They generally have the more commonly available flowers like pansies, petunias, geraniums, etc., and standard garden vegetables, stuff you can find at most garden stores or big-box stores. What they DO have, however, is often a selection of varieties of those flowers you might not find elsewhere, like different color combinations (especially in petunias - I've found colors there I've never seen at Home Depot or even other local nurseries). They also always seem to have a vast supply of the varieties they carry, since they grow most of their own plants. As others have mentioned, they also are very nice people, know how to answer your questions, and have some of the best prices around. I like to go there first to see if they have what I want, before going to other garden centers. read more

The produce and flowers are great! However, they are not enforcing the mask wearing practice even though they have signs up. We saw at least 6 customers going in and out without masks in the half hours we were there! We won't be going back. read more

From the their fields directly to their market, I have no doubt that the produce is as fresh as you can get. I would just like to comment on the character of this family and their business-- I cannot thank them enough! My car's electronic fuel gauge played a nice trick on me today by telling me I had a full tank when I, in fact, was out of gas. I was on the freeway, and hiked up to their farm. I noticed they had farm equipment, and hoped they had gas. I only had $6 cash and a credit card. I explained my situation and offered to pay for gas. I offered $20, even $30 (thinking I would hike the gas to my car and come back with the container) but he would hear none of that. He explained he was recently stranded on 81, and helping people out is just what they do. He contacted his son via walkie to get gas and a utility vehicle. He charged my card for even compensation for gas. His son drove me on their property as far as we could go, then he hiked the rest of the way down the interstate with me (and 5 gallons of gas) to my car. Lack of gas was the problem, and I was back on my way! I was a complete stranger desperate for help. He would only allow me to compensate for gas he had already bought. He and his son went out of their way to help me today when they could have told me to keep walking. What they did for me today was priceless. Again, I can't thank them enough. I wish I could do more to return the favor. Best I can do is let anyone who cares to read know how truly remarkable the character of this family/ business is through the eyes of a stranger! read more

Don't expect Ray's to stand behind the quality of their plants. Once they have your money, no matter what the issue is, Ray will not respond. I will never do business with him again and recommend you do the same. read more

Great place to buy flowers and veggies planters. Very reasonable price, much cheaper than most nurseries around the area, and everything they sell is very good quality.
