They also carry popular brands like Farm Rio, Sam Edelman, Lilly Pulitzer, etc. Through the years I've found some great handbags, shoes, and accessories. My mom spotted this shop after we checked out one store in the same plaza and suggested that we walk by to see if they were still open. The windows had some dresses and designer packaging on display and outside the door, a rack of sale items with special prices if you paid cash. The store was open when we went and I decided to go in and peruse. They sell a variety of styles, brands, and sizes in this boutique and all of the racks and areas are marked clearly. Easy to shop and find what you are looking for. I saw clothes from Anthropologie to Missoni on the racks and prices ranged for each piece, based on condition and designer. One of the things I spotted was a Chanel jacket and skirt suit set near the front of the store by the register. I found it interesting as it was a 1996 suit set and commented to my mom that I was a kid when this suit first came out when it was brand new. On a whim, I decided to try it on for fun, thinking maybe the jacket would fit, but not the skirt. To my surprise, the entire set fit like a glove. No buttons were missing, there was no damage to the suit (ex. snags, moth holes, etc.), and it didn't seem to be altered. It was a little pricey, but I went to the counter and kindly asked the gal working there if there were any Easter specials going on or deals. She called the owner, who offered me 20% off, due to the fact that the set had been there for a while and no one was able to fit into it. I bought it, knowing that I will be returning to work in the near future and sometimes I am required to dress more business for certain meetings and occasions. Parking is shared with all of the businesses in the small plaza. If you go during a non-peak time, you can find a spot without too much issue. My husband went in to buy a $300 purse, but was not greeted at the door, no one said hello or if they could help him! Little did they know, my husband buys me Louis Vuitton and other top designer purses all over the world. So, came back to the restaurant that I was eating at and told me his saga. So, I said, let me go with you and see. SAME situation!!!!! I think one of the women was the owner as well! All I have to say is sorry, not sorry, you missed out on lots of $$$$. For those who like this kind of thing this is the kind of thing they like. (The prime of miss Jean Brodie..). I think women who like to drop serious money on clothes probably really like this store and furthermore that this store really likes them. They have a nice earring selection for reasonable prices. But they had $100 dollar sunglasses and when I said that I was looking for inexpensive sunglasses the woman behind the counter said--in a pretty unfriendly way--we don't do that. It was not my first encounter with snootiness there. Ummmm. It's resale. Maybe don't turn your nose up at people looking for sunglasses or earrings for under fifty bucks. read more

I love finding a good quality consignment store! I'm mad I didn't come into this place sooner. I was greeted by one of the owners - Janet. She was kind, inviting and very helpful. I loved the $5 rack they had outside, but couldn't find anything for me. Inside is an array of designer items from bags, clothing, shoes and jewelry. Some items were expensive but I think possibly bc the seller (not the store) prices their items. I was able to find a pair of AGLs in excellent condition for $47. That's unheard of. If you're looking for Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel, Lilly, and more come into this store. Janet: I'll be back again soon!!! read more

I totally agree and totally disagree with a lot of these reviews. (How's that for clarity?) Yes, you will find some overpriced, worn Gap shirts at this place, but you also will find mid-range designer brands for great prices. So, if you want items from the Gap or the like, definitely don't come here. Shop the end of season sale at the Gap. But if you want some Citizens of Humanity or other deigned jeans that normally run $150-$200, you can get them here for $40, or better. For example, I have bought a denim Citizens of humanity skirt for $25, a Theory black skirt for $5 (!!! clearance rack) and AG skinny jeans for $5 (!!!! clearance sale rack). They have great dresses here, and a nice deal if you need a cocktail dress for a wedding or event, but don't want to pay full price. Most stuff is very good condition. The nicer the brand, the better the condition, but that generally is true for clothing whether new or used. Generally the items I find to be overpriced are things I don't like and wouldn't take if someone were giving them away. For example, for me preppy stuff like Tory Burch or Lily Pulitizer is just not my style. There's quite a bit of it here. To me it is overpriced, but that interpretation is likely because I don't even like the style of those brands/designers. I find that anything I don't like is always "overpriced." I also really like selling items here. It's nice to have a credit to use in the store and I can always find something I like. I could donate the nicer items, but I like the immediate value of getting to trade it out for something else I like. Plus, I love used clothing. In my efforts to *try* to live a more thoughtful, sustainability-focused, less consumeristic lifestyle, used but nice clothing is a way in which I can feel good about buying "new" things and keep my 50 hanger closet fresh. (Well, it's around 62 hangers right now, but I really hope to narrow it 50 hangers in the next month or so. It's a hard transition to fewer items, but worth it. Less headache for sure! I highly suggest trying it.) read more

I found lots of really good things about this place and only a couple annoying things. Nicely organized by category (dresses, tops, pants, etc) and GREAT that there are size markers on the hangers themselves not just dividers on the racks. That way if you're short on time, you can just zero in on looking for your size number and be done with it and not get frustrated that smalls are mistakenly hung with mediums! Decent lighting, at the time I went they had a healthy inventory, and a large amount of sale rack items. The sales person behind the counter was very chatty. Items were well displayed. Needs better lighting in the dressing rooms. I found the prices on the high side, 10-20%. I needed help as the chatty worker hung my selections in a dressing room that another customer was using. A new employee wasn't listening to me at all when I said that my pieces were in there but instead checked the other two rooms until SHE figured it out. There was a bunch of other clothing left in there and I told her my pieces were bright pink, and a pink print. She says, "Blue?" And pulls out a blue dress. "Is it dark?" I repeat "pink." This went on for way too long. REALLY ANNOYING. All in all, avoid new employees, check out the sales rack, and enjoy your new used clothes. read more

Clean well organized store. The staff was friendly, but the prices were shocking. $30 for a slightly worn looking short-sleeved sweater from The Gap. I could've bought it new for no more than $12.99. Very high prices. It seems to defeat the purpose of shopping consignment when you are paying retail or, in some cases, higher. read more

This store has high quality merchandise and items I don't usually see in second hand stores. They definitely carry better brands but also have moderate brands as well. The owners are friendly and very helpful in locating that special item. They also had some pieces that were brand new and not on consignment. If you're looking for values on quality merchandise and not just bargain basement crap, this store fits the bill. read more

I seriously cannot believe that this upscale consignment store in Audobon Park has not been Yelped before. As an avid thrifter and committed mall-hater, I have not found Orlando to be much to write home about on the shopping front. Orlando is full of overpriced, crowded malls, many of which require getting on I-4. Forget that. It is not going to happen unless I am having a Sephora-related emergency. Chic Boutique (plus a little Marshall's or Eileen Fisher when necessary) make going to the mall unnecessary. Chic Boutique is serious upscale consignment. Do not take Renee and Janet crap from your closet. Only take them nice and current pieces. There is an excellent selection of high end designer bags, shoes, and clothing here, but also much more moderately priced labels, and some really gorgeous jewelry. The prices are very reasonable, and they often specials. The store is well organized, unlike many consignment stores, and Renee and Janet will be happy to style you if you need some assistance. They will also remember you, your name, and what you like--and tell you honestly if something doesn't look good. Highly recommend a visit. read more

I was SO happy to find this great store! I was frantically searching all of the stores for something to wear to an event I had, and happened to find this store. Renee and Janet were SOOOO helpful, patient, and friendly, putting up with me as I basically tried on every shirt in the store! Finally, one of them brought me the PERFECT white top to go under my blazer. Polished and professional, but flattering and modern. In perfect condition. And it was about $15. Had an exciting time shopping this afternoon at The Chic Boutique! The staff was friendly and helpfull. The store is neat and clean. I was surprised at the number of good name brands they had available. I found a wonderful little top on their $5 rack for my daughter-in-law. The clothes are trendy and prices resonable.
