I decided to try someone new at this salon, since it was the manager I thought I would be left in good hands. I had washed my hair and took a detailed look, mortified to find out that I had 3 different colors including a brassy orange color. When I reached out to Nadiya and explained my disatisfaction all she could reply was "what happened". I had to pay extra money to have it fixed at another salon and will never trust her again with my hair, very disappointed. Very rude and unprofessional staff! They set the bar very low, and I wish I could leave 0 stars. Go elsewhere, otherwise you will regret coming here. Worst customer service we have encountered. See details below. We had scheduled a 9am appointment with this place for styling. Upon looking up the place, it showed up as closed and it opens at 10am. We called the phone number that shows up on Google Maps, but it is disconnected. I called the phone number on the business card, and the owner Nadiya picked up. She said they were open and was telling me to ignore Google - okay. I told her that my mom has a styling appointment at 9am, and she said "Styling? Okay, come in. I am waiting for you." We immediately showed up as we were next door, and she told us "You need to wait, I don't have time for you right now." We took a seat and then she approached us to say, "You have two appointments, and they're both styling & makeup" which is not what we wanted. We let her know that's not the case, and she then turned down our business saying she doesn't know when she will take us etc despite us having a 9am styling appointment. We walked away and took our appointment to "Salon by Ann Ashooty". You'll be much happier there - you'll be treated as a human. read more

My mom and my two aunts came here to get their hair dyed by the owner, Nadiya. She ruined their hair it is so damaged that my moms hair is FALLING OUT! My mom also complained that she used harsh products and that her hair smelled like chemicals after. My mom and her sisters hair was blotchy and one of my aunts hair had multiple colors in it after she had it done, red, blonde, gray, and white! She had a whole strand of hair that was completely GRAY! My other aunt had splotches of reddish orange on her hair and it was just in all horrible of how their hair turned out. my mom had asked for her only to touch up her roots and not to go anywhere else on her hair but she did do that and she killed her hair and she made her hair orange on her roots except for the front. If I could give zero stars I would. She put my mom through a stressful time because her brother, my uncle's wedding was in just three days and she had to find someone to fix her hair. Thankfully she did but now her hair is more damaged than ever! They will definitely not be coming back EVER AGAIN! read more

This review is based on the lack of professionalism of the salon owner. I, along with 22+ others had appointments at this salon for a family wedding. All of us had traveled for this wedding. Majority of us were from Michigan. We were told that our appointments began at 5:30AM. 6 of us arrived at 5:30am where three makeup artists and three hair stylists were waiting for us. 5 minutes later, the owner of the salon arrived and was very displeased with the amount of people in the salon. At this point, my uncle had driven back to the hotel in order to bring another batch of people to the salon. Her complaint was that our group woke her up early for no reason because there was no one in her styling chair. She kept complaining with jabs under her breath. She was so unpleasant that the bride and mother of the bride began crying and left the rest of us in a fury. When someone said "Why are you upset? Your salon has been booked completely today by us. It's a lot of profit" the owners response was "I don't care! Each Makeup Artist and Stylist makes full profit on the person they work on because I don't take a percentage from them but what I care about is that I'm not making money because there's no one in my chair right now." WHOA Chill out lady. Just because you don't know how to have a proper business structure does not mean you can take it out on paying clients. She also tried to chase down one of the bridesmaids as she left. She assumed that the bridesmaid wasn't going to pay for her services but the bridesmaids mother was there getting services done as well and was going to pay for them both. What a shame. You had 22+ people in your salon from out of town who could have visited you again for services and or referred people to your salon but your nasty attitude and lack of professionalism will be all we talk about. Worst experience I've handled at this salon and I didn't even get anything done. I walked in salon with my sisters and we had an appointment with my sister in law, the owner looks at my sister and asks her why she brought my baby nephew here. The manager had my nieces sit outside alone with no adult supervision because she wanted her clients to sit on the couch even though my nieces were clients of the salon. Who has the decency to let a 4 year old and 6 year old sit alone out of the parents eye sight.The manager was very rude and disprectful. She made racist marks to my sister and I. She basically indirectly told us that we are just a one time customer and didn't care about us versus having other customers sit down and take care of them. I'm sorry but the salon and manager speaks a lot about the location and overall experience. The people inside working there were doing a good job with my sister in law but the manager just made us not want to support this salon. They apologized instead of the manager and the manager did not apologize once. It was just really sad to start a morning like this for my sisters engagement. read more

I do give one star because I guess I should consider myself lucky that we were spoken to and acknowledged even if rudely! We walked in to see if any one had time to help us with my daughter's hair. The other stylists all turned to the woman closest to the door. I explained the color problem that my daughter had and this woman has my mortified teenager pretty much parade in a circle as she yells out asking if anyone had time to "do this"!!! Only one stylist said she would have time but didn't have the color we needed. By this time, the exhibitionist stopped acknowledging us all-together. I said thank you and walked out. Not sure how a place this rude has any clients at all but they seemed to be quite busy. I don't do Yelp reviews often unless I am EXTREMELY pleased or not pleased. If I take the time to write a review, it means something. Beware if you are the type who expects to be treated kindly and courteously at a place of business. Business 101!!! read more
