Con artist! I came in for a hair cut and walked out with Head Soaked! Had their cheap deep conditioning treatment instead of my hair cut because they could not fit me into my appointment due to over their booking. I arrived exactly on time to my scheduled appointment. The owner was preoccupied and said she was busy with two clients ahead of me. After waiting 15min She then walks over to me and says her clients wants high lites and will take even longer; she took advantage to upsell her daughters bogus hair treatment on me, said how much I would benefit from it, she sold me on her fake promises of silky soft hair., I was duked !! They charged me $110. I looked at the empty bottles after it was put in my hair and did a Google search; Sure enough the stuff was less than $30 on Amazon! I was duked into paying over $100! And worst part is My hair was dripping wet! Not exaggerating! Soaked dripping all over my clothes! And my hair is now frizzy! Do Not Trust this Con Artist! DO NOT HO HERE. I went in With dark brown hair asking for low lights to be brighter. I let her know I had just colored it and asked if it was okay to color again. She said that it was. I wanted medium brown low lights. This is what I got!! Then she tried to blame last stylist. There was so much breakage as well.I was putting by my hands through my hair and hair was coming off. I went there for the first time and let me tell you...I was taken really good care of. The ladies who did my hair made sure I was comfortable and that the temperature of the water when washing my hair was to hot or cold. They treated me like a princess. The ladies who did my hair were alham and I didn't get the other lady. But the staff were really nice and very professional. I'm definitely getting my hair done there now. My hair became brittle and elastic.... it was really unacceptable and instead of her emphasizing... she became very defensive !!! I was asking if she can help me fix my hair the next day coz I'm attending a formal event ... and she said "NO , I already give you a $10 hair conditioning treatment " ... and that made me so angry and I told her to refund the $110 that I paid for my highlights .... I've been coming to this salon for many years & I've experienced nothing but excellent customer service. The staff actually cares if you're satisfied with the service that is provided because they understand the results of a customer returning when satisfaction exists. They are focused and driven with the task at hand to ensure that the customer is happy before they walk out the door. I make an appointment to get my hair blown once a week and I am taken right on time. At the same time if I make an appointment for an up-do or style on the weekends for an event I'm also taken on time with an amazing finished look. I constantly receive compliments every time I walk out of this salon whether it is a simple or extravagant look. This salon is unique in many ways. One way is they cater to wedding and any special events services on the weekends so really unless you have an appointment yes it is very busy on the weekends. So I recommend if you need to come in on a weekend definitely make an appointment in advance to assure your spot. In addition, this is a multicultural salon so of-course many ethnicity do walk in & out daily therefore many languages are spoken & the staff takes pride that their salon can service to many & even speak the different languages at that. I went and try it for the first time, I had my hair cut and did my eyebrows. The hair cut was a horrible experience, after washing my hair I got my hair brushed and they didn't care about the tangles and brushed my hair energetically. Then they told me the manager will cut my hair, and left me waiting for a while, cause the manager was talking to some friends. Finally when she finished, she stood up and some how friendly, she asked me what I wanted and cut my hair for 10 min and that's it, she was done. I was surprised and thought maybe she has so much experience and she works fast... Then I had my eyebrows done, and it was totally a different experience, the girl was super nice and did a great job. The customer service here is one of the worst. I came right as it opened and the lady whoever she was, she looked maybe early twenties told me rudely to come after 3pm. I asked her if she could do my eyebrows real quick since there was no one in the salon waiting and she rudely said no. I asked if there was an earlier time I could come and she said 2pm this time. Then I said okay never mind thank you and left. I wouldn't have had an issue with the fact I didnt make an appointment but my problem was with the way she talked to me. If you have great work but your customer service is horrible that is the deal breaker for me. I do not recommend this place as far as the way they treat customers. And the other thing is my mom had come before to get her eyebrows threaded and they pinched her eyelid and made her bleed on top of having her wait almost 25 minutes (with an appointment) before she was helped. I came to try and give it a try. Never again. I say if you want GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREAT WORK, go to parkway plaza. It's $10 for eyebrow threading by this brow salon near walmarts entrance and this Indian lady, I think her name was either Bina, or Mina, she did an amazing job and was incredibly nice. All 5 stars are for Wafaa. I went to Venus one time 3 years ago and didn't like their customer service at all. However, a friend of mine recommended Wafaa for threading hair removal. Wafaa is super nice and very professional in threading (no pain at all which is AMAZING). She also cut my hair and blow dry it last week and yes she deserves more than 5 stars for the elegant and amazing job she did. Thank you Wafaa!
