I couldn't come in on the weekend due to a personal emergency, and they told me that if I didn't come in the day they saw my DM (a day late) they couldn't help me. I had an exam the next day. I couldn't drop everything and do my nails, especially when I anticipated that they would last 2 weeks, as every other gel set I have ever gotten has. Very upset. Used to love this place. Was hoping they would handle it differently and was disappointed. While they were nice, they didn't do a good job. Won't be going back.

The technique alone was alarming; neutralizer left in for about a minute, hair towelled immediately after perming, and then combed right away. It's no surprise the result turned out the way it did. What was supposed to be a trim turned into harsh, uneven layers that made the hair significantly shorter than discussed. When a fix was requested, the response was even worse than the service. Instead of accountability, there was belittling and dismissiveness. The most telling part was when the boss stated that this is how she trains her staff to do perms. At that point, it made complete sense why the boss didn't even begin to know how to correct the situation. Fortunately, I was able to have my hair fixed quickly at another salon, but that doesn't undo the experience here. I would not recommend Toppers Salon, especially for chemical services.
