this business recently opened in the Publix shopping plaza. they were offering discounted haircuts…read morefor their grand opening. i needed my shaggy head trimmed up so i stopped in. i was looking forward to a nice haircut before leaving tifton. as stated in other reviews, i prefer the discount chains because they're quick and cheap. i wanted to give this establishment more stars. initially, my stylist was impressive. i was somewhat perplexed though why my cut was taking so long. i keep it simple and standard...short on the sides, trimmed on the top, kind of a "boxy" style. it's what i say everytime i get my hair cut. why this is a hard cut, i don't know. she kept my back toward the mirror the entire cut, so i had no idea what was going on. when she finished, and i saw my haircut, i wanted everything shorter...shorter on the sides and top. she then used the clippers and ran it over my whole head giving me that uniform, round head look. i was not impressed, but didn't press it because i had been in there 45 minutes and needed to run more errands. when i showered, i noticed several stragler hairs and uneven-ness. i returned the next day, and the staff was very apologetic and pleasant. my new stylist sat me right away and cleaned me up. however, to correct some of the uneven-ness, she had to cut a little more, so now i'm left with more of a military style cut, something i don't really care for. 5 stars for my follow-up cut, 2 stars for my initial cut.

I couldn't believe someone who cuts hair for a living actually let him leave looking like that. The haircut was uneven, choppy, and just poorly done. Unfortunately, my son's haircut was no better. I ended up having to fix both of their haircuts at home and for the record, I'm not a hairdresser. But somehow, with no professional training, I managed to clean it up and make it look presentable, which says a lot about the quality of work they received. I had a specific OPI gel color combo in mind. I like to use two different shades layered for a perfect neutral for my fair skin. A bit extra yes, but the results have never failed me. The staff was able to find one of the two colors before my appointment and shortly after my arrival they located the second color. Yay!!!! They are used to customers who like to customize their color. This extra request didn't create an issue whatsoever and they were so accommodating by searching the entire wall to find it. The salon is beautifully designed and it appears perfect for large groups, think "girls day out". I opted for a hot cuticle oil pedi, and a classic fill with my custom layered polish. Both of my nail specialists were great and my nails look holiday ready! I even got an extra $10 gift card based on the price of my services. Win win!!
