Worst nail experience I've received in a long time. Not only did the salon owner accidentally file one of my nails too short, when I asked him to fix it he REFUSED... stating that they're going to a party and they're closed. It is now 6:06 pm on Friday. According to their signage the salon closes at 7:00pm. I arrived at 5:00pm. He had the audacity to tell me that I'll have to come back tomorrow. I will never return to this nails salon and I suggest you don't either. read more

The acrylic was SUPER THICK and the polish was too thin the guy only did 2 coats. The man was very rough didnt push back or cut my cuticles AND didnt put oil or lotion on me afterwards charged me 60$ for a 20$ manicure. Service was terrible. Need i continue. Shut this place down!!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! OVERPRICED AND POOR QUALITY POLISH! I gave this place two chances. They are more expensive than others, however I do not mind paying for good service. The first time I had a gel manicure, it chipped the next day and my daughter's chipped 2 days after. I gave them another shot because the actual manicure wasn't bad and the place smelled nice. I really hate to leave a negative review, as the folks here were very nice and welcoming. I went for a pedicure because I knew I had some calluses and my big toe was starting to get ingrown. I've been to other salons and had pedicures and no issues, even with an ingrown toenail. But this occasion I managed to pick up an infection. So my overall experience was pretty good. Kelly did my fingers and another girl did my toes. I came in to get my acrylics filled and to get a pedicure. They started working on my nails and when it was time to fill them, they started doing the dip on my nails. I freaked out because I was confused and it wasn't what I had asked for. They said they didn't do the acrylic there because of the chemicals. I'll admit, my nails looked damn good but it wasn't what I went in for. At this point I was in a sour mood because I wasn't expecting that. I told them I like my nails to be on the thin side because I like them to look natural. They were so thick that you could tell they were fake. I ended up removing my acrylics and getting the dip at another location when it was time for my fill. I took two friends with me, Kelly did my friends gel and they looked horrible, you could tell it needed at least two more coats. The gentleman did my other friends gel and I felt so bad, it was her first timing getting her nails done and he rushed the whole process. They looked like they were starting to peel before we had even left. They sat and waited for me because I was getting both services. We went up to pay and he told her, "Oh. You're still here? I had completely forgotten about you!" Even that made me feel upset and it wasn't directed towards me. The salon itself is on the small side and didn't feel like a very relaxing atmosphere. Got dip with tips and paid $65 lasted literally one week only nails that were still in tack were my thumb nails. Called and asked what they could do for me since I literally just spend $65 on nails!!! He told me they only guarantee up to 3 days and they will not fix them after 3 days of them being on? Expensive and if you don't mind paying for quality then you don't care about prices, I choose them because they use organic products and when you walk into there shop you absolutely don't smell the fumes so that was why I chose them been more then 3 times. But my nail are not what I like and after nicely discussing it with my technician which by the way has done my nails each time I've been there. I decided to discontinue my business with them. Be aware the first time don't given undeserving chances like I did to only still be disappointed and what's sad my technician was a very nice person. read more

I've visited this nail salon over the last several months. I've made appointments to be seen and on each time my appointment has not been honored in favor is someone else who did not have an appointment where I was asked to wait a "few minutes" so they could be served. Having arrived 15 minutes early each time, I understood waiting even a few min mins past my appointment was possible and not big deal. The first time this happened, I was lead to think she was only a few minutes behind, only to end up waiting an hour to begin my service. I was told it was because I arrived early. Well this last time was the straw the did it for me as once again I arrived 15 mins early to be asked to wait for someone who just asked for a pedicure. In each case, I don't know if it's that they choose to serve more regular customers or if it was because they felt a young Black woman would take better to having to wait over an older White woman. Either way, the first time I was thanked for my patience and neither time was I offered an apology. I tip pretty well and like my Nail tech Tina but as a busy professional, my time is valuable and I don't have the luxury to continue to have appointments I take care to schedule be dishonored for any reason. After asking Tina to honor my appointment rather than work on this other person, she chose to leave me waiting and so I left and do not intend to ever go back. I would not recommend this shop for this reason as hope that they do a better job of scheduling, communicating and valuing ALL customers. read more

My new favorite nail place! Danny is awesome. I got gel acrylic and a standard pedicure (35 minutes!) I was there for almost 2 hours, none of which was wait time, which is good if you're wanting to relax, I never go to the salon in a hurry. It doesn't have the normal salon smell, they use all organic nail products. Highly recommend checking this place out! read more

I am blown away! I am so thoroughly impressed with Chic Nails and Spa! I had the pleasure of having Kelly do my full set today. After showing her what I wanted, she suggested steering away from the OPI gel "Bubble Bath" and toward their powder color technique! It's all natural, no chemicals and it the most even, clean and natural looking "solar" nails I've ever received. I think everyone has experienced the stings and pains that can come from getting acrylics, I will tell you right now, I did not feel one, not one, sting or feeling of discomfort. The products don't have that awful chemical smell and my fingers have felt light and clean ever since. An incredibly unique aspect of their services are the vacuum tubes they use to catch the filing shavings. There isn't a film of my or anyone else's nail dust anywhere! I feel so taken care of and refreshed after leaving. I can't WAIT to go back to have a pedicure and all of my future servicing!! Thank you, Kelly!!!!!! read more

Was one of top spots to go and worth traveling from Shreveport to Bossier for until I brought a group of friends with me and I was skipped over. So unprofessional. They base they're cliental on there regulars and more important people. They need either new management or more staff members to cover the demand of customers after they called and made an appointment. read more

I will never recommend this nail salon. I will tell people not to go to this salon. I called Wednesday to make a appt for me and my daughter to see Kelly. I had been recommended to go see her by 4 of my customers , so figuring if 4 people have said to go see her I should make a appt ahead of time. Me and my daughter get to the appt 10 mins early I am a extremely understanding people when it comes to customer service and running late. So I wasn't upset at the fact that even my daughter noticed and was wondering why it took 45 mins after our appt to start on us. But they did and everything seemed ok. Well I had maid my appt with Kelly and I had told them that three times and for some reason kelly wasn't doing my daughters nails (but no biggy as long as she does mine it will be fine) so her and her husband and two other ladies keep coming over looking at my nails asking to see what design I want and her husband asked me how do you know kelly so I told him. And he have the nerve to tell me that our mutual customers that recommend me to see HIS WIFE lied to me she nor none of them can do designs so by this time it's been over 1 45 mins and I am telling him ok well whatever y'all can do is fine I just want some Easter. Well I wait even more and finally after my daughter is complaining of being hungry because we have been there 2 plus hours. While kelly is doing other customer that literally walked in after us like 3 of them and guess what SHE NEVER DID OURS. She just blew us off.
