    new scratch noticed after I picked up my unit that wasn't there prior

    I was impressed by some aspects, but then disappointed in one major way. Customer service: Great! I spoke with a couple of people over the course of 3 phone calls. I don't remember who I spoke with over the phone, but after much troubleshooting on my own, I called to ask for their opinion. Obviously, not much could be determined over the phone without them seeing my unit, but they patiently answered my questions, were courteous, and I never felt rushed. Service: Easy drop-off, and you enter all your information electronically. Quick and easy. Unfortunately, the price for fixing my unit was not worth the cost, so I ended up just paying the diagnostic fee. When I went to pick up my unit, there was damage to the top of my laptop which were not there prior to me dropping them off.

Plus u have to get up , go to best buy, and wait in line. Called these folks up after seeing all the positive reviews and they didnt disappoint. Later the same day, Billy came over to take a look at it. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He ran a diagnostic at my place and my harddrive was fried. So he took my laptop and external hd to try to get the data from it. Unfortunately, it was fried pretty badly, but they work with another company that specializes in data recovery. I had my important data backed up already, so i decided to get a new computer all together bc i compromised on the original one that fried out. Figured i would just get the one i really wanted. They recycled the old computer and returned my external hd the same day i made the decision. Throughout the process, i was completely informed of their progress via email. If i wanted to replace my hd and recover windows, i wouldve gladly given them my business. I ended up paying only for the diagnosis I would wholeheartedly recommend these folks to anyone with computer issues, both to diagnose and fix

While it was a bit tough to correspond just over email (they would be unresponsive at times until I followed up), I feel like that might have been solved if I just called. But when Billy came, he was very helpful, friendly, and proactive. 3. Affordable. While ultimately, my laptop had an issue that was not-so-simply fixable, if I had gotten it fixed, it would have been much more affordable than I expected. I was happy with the price. All in all, I would say that this seems like a solid place. The next time I have any technical issues or problems with my computer, I will definitely be using SolveMyPC!! :)

I got a message from him at exactly the time he promised and the phone works great. When I dropped my phone and had a white line going down the screen, I filed a claim to have it fixed. I was expecting to have to go to an AT&T store, but all the uBreakiFix spots popped up as well. This spot is closer to me than any AT&T store so I came here on a Monday morning to drop it off. It wasn't busy, and after giving my phone number they were able to look up my claim and asked me to come back in 90 minutes. Used that time to get lunch (but was also sadly reminded a lot of restaurants are closed Mondays). I came back a little early and my phone was all set to go. Since it was via my insurance the payment just shows up in the phone bill. My only complaint was they put a screen protector on which I thought was nice, until I realized it was covering up the part of the phone you put your ear on - I was confused why my calls were so muffled. Still, not much to complain about! Obviously this is a unique scenario as I'm not just coming in with a random problem, and I assume my issue was a common one, but at least I can say they fixed my minor phone problem well.

I was told by Ray, the owner, that this repair shop used to be an authorized Akai Service Center. Well, when I tried to record on the unit after picking it up from repair, it would not record, and it was recording GREAT before I took it to Just Service. When I reported the condition to Ray, he said, "the heads are probably dirty again from you using old analog tape"; that's absolutely ridiculous since this happened while I was trying to record on the unit for the VERY FIRST TIME after picking it up from Just Service; NO TAPE had even passed through the head system yet! Now the unit is not recording, and the channel is dropping again. It's still under the 90-day service warranty but now I don't even trust Just Service to do the warranty work. This business doesn't even give you a repair ticket when you drop off your item; they will tell you, "We'll call you when its ready", They only take cash, probably because a Credit Card can be disputed if it's proven that the service was not provided. You will also not be allowed into the shop when you drop off and pick up your unit, supposedly due to Covid but more likely because they don't want you to see the conditions that your unit will be exposed to while it is there. Ray is a real tool and will talk to you like you are a piece of dirt on his shoe if you ask questions or dispute something that he says, totally rude and unprofessional. I live about an hour away, but I am going to travel out of my way to visit a trustworthy repair shop.
