I can't say enough great things about PCEL!! My daughter has flourished so much since going there…read more The management and staff are very understanding, and treat your kids like their own. Mrs. Kelsy, Mrs. Rhabi, and my daughter's classroom teachers made me feel VERY welcomed, and it immediately felt like a family. My daughter learns a lot, and has fun while doing it (which is exactly the balance I wanted for her). They also send you pictures of your child so you can get updates - which provides some peace of mind, and it's so nice to see the great activities and lessons your child is learning. It's hard to find a great place to trust with your child, but this place is truly a GREAT place with loving staff!

Our 2 children (5 and 2) are now thriving there, in spite of COVID. We all adore the Center Director, Ms. Rhabi, who is everything you hope for in a Director: warm, caring, communicative, available for questions and concerns, etc. Our son claims she is his best friend. The teachers in both classrooms are wonderful and have done a great job keeping us informed about what the kids are up to on a daily basis, even without the chance for any face to face interactions given COVID protocols. We have been especially impressed that our 5 yo has picked up math concepts (graphing objects) and our 2 yo can identify all the letters in her name and even name some classmates whose names start with some of the letters she knows. Beyond the curriculum, it is clear that the school models and expects the kids to demonstrate kindness and empathy towards one another. We wish the kids were able to spend a little bit more time outside in the winter (on days w/ reasonable weather) and that it were easier to get to know the community during the pandemic. Otherwise, we highly recommend PCEL!

The building itself is incredibly safe, with dedicated doormen and a truly wonderful community of people working within the complex. Having previously lived in this building, I can personally attest to its safe and friendly atmosphere, and it warms my heart to see my daughter now greeting residents who have watched her grow and develop since day one. Every morning, she's genuinely excited to see Maya and her friends, often saying, "Maya fun. Maya big hug. Maya friend." As a new parent, sending my daughter to Maya after eight months was a leap of faith that has been richly rewarded. Not only does my daughter come home happy every day, having eaten well, enjoyed a good nap, and sporting a bright smile, but Maya has also been an invaluable resource for me. She's offered guidance on parenting matters I was still learning, like recognizing suspicious coughs or unfamiliar rashes. On top of all this exceptional care, Maya's rates are the most affordable I've found for such specialized private daycare in Chicago. Working at the local high school, it's incredibly reassuring to see my daughter thriving under Maya's care, knowing she's building a strong foundation for a smooth transition into prekindergarten when the time comes. My now 10 month old goes to Little Inspirations Central Hyde Park campus and they have been an absolutely wonderful part of my "village." They were so kind as I made the transition back to work and to sending him to daycare. As a new mom, it was so hard for me to be away from my baby and they reassured me that I could come anytime and even potentially come in to breastfeed during my lunch break if desired. They will never truly know how much it meant to me that they were so willing to make the transition as slow as I needed. Not only this, but they were also instrumental in getting my son to try many different foods and accustomed to solid foods. Chef Andrius prepares delicious meals and snacks that my son seems to really enjoy! This was also a huge help! Fast forward and I now almost feel bad picking up my son because I know he is having so much with all of his teachers and fellow Wiggly Worms! At drop off, he lights up when he sees Ms. Antoinette and at pick up I get to see him smiling and having fun after another great day at school. All the teachers (from other rooms, too!) and directors know his name and our family. It is just such a warm and caring environment. I never thought I would reach the place to be raving about daycare on a review page, but here we are! They also incorporate Family Fun days which have been so wonderful. We got to see our baby in his element and meet the other teachers and parents, too. Now my only concern is what I will ever do WITHOUT Little Inspirations some day! If you are searching for childcare in the area, do not hesitate to send your child to Little Inspirations. I really cannot speak more highly of them for truly the most important of choices to make for your child. Kudos to the directors and teachers - I could not have personally selected more wonderful people to take care of my son!

Photo of Michael Williams Michael Williams…read more just now I was helped by both locations: Cindee Towns at 1344 E. 55th Street Chicago, IL., 60615 and Michael Delegatto at:17859 Bretz Dr. Homewood, IL., 60430 First, I want to thank the Illinois Cremation Society for all of their help and assistance in taking great care and concern for my mom, Nellie Ruth Thompson during the last 4 weeks. On April 19, 2023, Mom made her transition to being with the Lord out at the Prairie Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Nursing Home at 4:10 am. I was called by the Nursing Home at 5:10 am. After I arrived at the home I was confronted by her on-duty nurse Ruby who was very gracious to me. We both worked through the red tape together for this was her first time experiencing a situation such as this. I reached out to the society and I was transferred to a Tarra who began the process and she walked both of us through what to do. Thank you to Tarra with the society. We got mom from the Nursing home to the Homewood location with the help of Pastor Benjamin "Ben" Wind who took my mom to the Homewood IL location to be placed in the morgue freezer. After that, I did not really have to do much more but finalize all arrangements and payments and walk through the final process. Our family requested a Viewing and on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, after all was complete we said our last goodbyes to Mom. Everyone out at the Homewood IL, location was just outstanding. A special Thanks to funeral Director Michael Delegatto and his team for outstanding work with made our family feel pleased with Mom for she looked like she was sleeping. With the clothing that I choose and the makeup, Mom was beautiful! Last but not least, the team member to whom I will give the most praise and credit is Ms. Cindee Towns, who works out of the Hyde Park 55th Street, location. Man, I do not know what I would have done with her. From day one when Mom told her 5 years ago what she wanted and how until today when I picked up mom final remains inside the urn she picked out. Cindee was with me every step of the way. She guided and lead me through this difficult time and kept me encouraged to know I was doing everything correctly. Cindee met the rest of my family at the Viewing and spoke with each of us with words of kindness and sympathy. She maintained consistency throughout the entire process up until today May 10, 2023. Cindee Towns you are the greatest and our family THANK U! "Excellent Customer Service Award". "CINDEE TOWNS!" The Family of Nellie Ruth Thompson Thanks the Illinois Cremation Society! My son attended daycare/preschool here at Little Inspirations. It was absolutely wonderful. Staff was fantastic, programming was outstanding, the meals were homemade and smelled amazing.
