I recently went here, it's really a family type business it's not a retail storefront setting but a factory environment. I called first if they were able to do a one item job to embroider. They are so nice I didn't feel rushed. If the front desk is not there just shout out hello... I asked to have an embroidery of a brand name sport jacket done as they had me on file since 2016! I can't find a place that does embroidery for one item. I told them my story that it's for a birthday gift. It typically takes a couple of days but they were accommodating that I was able to pick up the next day. Maybe I picked the right time that they weren't busy printing. They sent me an email to confirm the image before they began embroidery. Then I got another email that it's ready to pick up. One downfall they are only open 9 to 5. But luckily I had people to pick up my order during the day since I already paid it, lol! I would do business with them again! Great job guys! read more

We were referred here by our friend that uses them. When I arrived the owner was very nice and took my order down, he also gave me a tour of the shop. NOW.... it's been a week later, I'm getting the run around from the front desk lady and who ever answers the phones. Different excuses and no one has an answer for why my order is not complete as promised by the owner they would be ready earlier this week. I sent Mary the front desk lady the email I will post- no response yet! She has been there for 20 some years the owner told me- obviously by watching her she really is struggling with the computer (and customer service). VERY DISAPPOINTED with this terrible service now. I know they do a lot of "big jobs" but they shouldn't forget about the "little people" that built them to what they are today. I guess they did and don't care about local customers. read more

I ordered polos with embroidery from Chicago Printing and Embroidery. I had heard good things, and the shirts were a middling price from the other quotes I received. The shirts and design turned out well and were just what I had asked for. However, they quoted my order to be ready on Wednesday. When I went to pick them up on Friday, not only were the shirts not finished, but they had not even been started. I needed the polos for the following day, so I asked when they could be finished. They stated it would take an hour. If only would take an hour, why were my shirts not completed sometime in the 7 business days since I submitted my payment? I waited for just under two hours in the shop. One employee actually yelled at me in front of other customers and employees, claiming he would cut up the shirts and throw them out. I wasn't quite sure why my presence bothered him so much, but his reaction made me feel pretty lousy. While the shirts ended up being nice, the company had difficulty with filling the request on time. Additionally, I thought the customer service was incredibly poor. The slight discount on shirts is not enough to entice me to go there again. read more

Time and time again this place has made the impossible happen. They do a lot personally so I've noticed the best way to communicate is a phone call AND an email. Whether I've had complex designs or been short on time, they've worked with me as more of a partner in the process so I understand the challenges and what can be accomplished. On the rare occasion I've had a problem, I understand why and just how hard they are working to help me fix it. Definitely appreciate all they have done. Great guys who will go the extra mile for you. *After recommending them to a friend he told me there were a few negative reviews on here and I had to see for myself. A few things: 1) custom work is a little different than ordering on amazon lol. I noticed Levi's custom jeans (that look really cool) have got a lot of negative reviews - some people just don't understand what they are asking for when it comes to 'custom' work. 2) it's not an item on a shelf, you can't just pick it out or go grab another if it's not completely perfect. You have to MAKE it. Whenever anyone MAKES something, it's not always going to be perfect and MOST OTHER companies tell you to expect that. They advise you to buy AND PAY them for few extra of that item (shirt/jacket/etc) 'just in case'. 3) They work hard to get it right the first time so you don't have to go through that. They understand it's not always easy to 'just order a few extra' (especially if it's leather jackets at $150 a pop!) and they truly care about what they are doing. So definitely know what you are asking for when you want something made and be understanding if they reach out to you with a problem. If you want your granny to painstakingly and perfectly embroider every detail of a design with the tender loving care and attention over months at a time to make your single special sweater- that's just fine. If however you want 100 shirts done for an event next week, or worse in a few days(yikes!) then these are the guys you want to have your back. read more

I had a last minute issue with getting my employee uniform art work done and printed on time with a company I went with which did not meet up to my expectations and a friend referred me to Chicago Printing and I spoke to Joseph to get everything I needed and made him fully aware of my deadline which I will admit was bit of a stretch with my needs/expectations and timeline but Joseph assured me of what they can do. I admit I don't spend too much time writing reviews. Just lazy on my part I guess but for this one here I will definitely do my part to spread the word. These guys saved me big time and the quality for the last minute print turned out superb. My employees love how it turned out and more importantly they feel proud wearing it. read more

Company claims to have excellent customer service. That couldn't be farther from the Truth. They do not return phone calls and do not communicate well with their clients. Do not pay them in advance as much as they say they need the full payment to expedite your order. Among many many other issues that I will not list the company (Javeed) promised to fix a misspelled last name on the back of a uniform that was their company's error. The 13 year old boy played the entire season with his name misspelled on the back of the Jersey. They promised to correct the problem multiple occasions, but they had no intentions to ever do such. They will promise over and over again too make it right - but they will not make it right. read more

WILL NEVER ORDER SHIRTS FROM HERE AGAIN!! Completely disorganized. Ordered a shirt for teachers only 18 shirts. Ordered September 26, Payment received October 7, sent an email and was told they were in line to get printed on the 18th. Finally got a mock up of the shirt the 24th and today after being transferred 4 times and speaking to who i assume is the owner I am being told I can pick up tomorrow. So pissed. So annoyed. I have 18 teachers that are waiting to wear these shirts for Halloween. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN. I stopped by to ask if they're able to embroid a logo for me for a birthday gift. Apparently, there's only one guy that could give me an answer. So Ive waited in the lobby for 10 minutes and the guy kept saying "give me 2 seconds" for a few times so I waited a few minutes longer to realize he left the office. And unfortunately, no one else can can give me an answer or was just too "busy" to. Horrible customer service, I expected better from a local shop. read more

Have no idea why people would rate this company in a negative fashion. They bend over backwards to accommodate you. I had crazy demands and they met them without complaint. My order was delivered early and the quality was amazing! Such nice people that work hard for the customer. I have used them on multiple occasions for a variety of orders from small to large. Watch out! We are considering suing this company for not refunding our money on an order that we did not receive. In August of 2014, we put down a deposit of $13,000 for printed t-shirts. A month after the shirts were due, we had only received part of the order and ended up canceling the rest because we ran out of time. When we requested a refund of $9500.00, on the T-shirts we didn't receive, we were told that due to health issues of the father, they could only refund us in installments. Well it's been a year and we have yet to receive anything. read more

These guys are wonderful. They do huge jobs here - MLB, NHL, etc. - the samples are hanging on the wall. However, no job is too small. I called them last minute on a Friday wanting a t-shirt printed that day for a dinner party that night. They let me bring in my own new shirt and printed for me that day! Very reasonable price. DO NOT GO HERE. Not only are the turn around times horrible, and the customer service is nonexistent, they have STOLEN approximately $200 from me and have done NOTHING despite many emails and phone calls. I am missing 31 shirts, half of my order, from September 2017. Jaaved, who had helped me with previous orders, even has the audacity to continue emailing me asking if I need a quote for a new order. When I reply with information about my missing order, requesting a refund, he refuses to respond. Even before this, it took something like 6 months from when I started the order to even get half of it shipped to me. And every attempt to contact the store about a shipping estimate or tracking number they would never respond. You practically have to harass them for info on the services YOU have PAID for. In a final attempt, I contacted the CEO/President of Chicago Printing & Embroidery via linkedin with hopes of resolving this issue, and again no response. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, this company should be blacklisted. I hope no one has to deal with this unprofessionalism and outright theft ever again. It is really unfortunate, as I had been ordering repeatedly from them and was a good source of profit for their company. I'm completely disturbed that a business would ever behave in such a way, and continue to ignore attempts to resolve the issue. read more
