They will not reimburse me and they tell me to wait for the new Elite Sports to open with different owners, but it's been over three months and my daughter does not need lessons anymore. The previous owners are absolutely awful human beings for stealing my $500 and not reimbursing me when they closed.

A third batting cage did have the OUT OF ORDER sign on it, I believe ours should have. There appeared to be one good working batting cage. Had to get help at least three times because they were not working at all. The staff (who were very kind) did put more $ on our card but it did not cover what we paid for and did not get. The place is in desperate need of maintenance, upkeep, update etc. because it is a bit of a shamble. Very disappointed!!

It was apparent right away that the coaches all have a past history of higher level soccer experience. They meet each child where they are at and truly care about their growth as a player and in character. A culture of mutual respect is expected amongst players, coaches, teammates, and families. Both of our sons IQ of the game has grown tremendously as the coaches take the time at practices and trainings to stop play to positively discuss and encourage critical thinking with players about what else they could have done during the play to enhance their game. The club is very organized in communicating with parents and we are encouraged to have open communication with coaches and other staff about our children. There is also a place for all players depending on their skill and understanding of the game and I feel the coaches really keep an eye out and do a great job of placing kids where they will grow the most in confidence and skill (this also includes pathways for higher level play and opportunities when a child is ready for it). Not only do our boys current team coaches pour into them, but other coaches across the club have also put time and efforts into coaching them at practices, futsal, camps, street soccer, and trainings. I enjoy Sunset because it is more intimate and some of the people at Sunset have been there forever. The clientele at Persinger is younger and part of the neighboring community. The fitness/community center literally looks like a modern barn on the outside. Inside you will find much of the same fitness equipment you will find at Sunset. Persinger has a basketball court and a walking/running track you will not find at Sunset. Persinger has upstairs meeting rooms with an elevator. Sunset has a training room and a racketball court. My personal preference is Sunset because I feel it is more intimate than Persinger. Because of this I give Persinger four stars and Sunset five stars.

Anyway, I am a former athlete and by former I mean I am now a dad of two that found myself stuck in the same routine of running and light lifting. Light lifting of beer and food that is. I needed something new and motivating and found myself on groupon. I didn't want to join a cross fit (not my style) and didn't trust the large group fitness classes at the huge corporate giants (xsport type) just looking to get your money. So I thought I would give this place a try. After all, it was only 200$ to start for 3x a week for the first 2 months. Jump on Groupon now if it still there and if not I promise whatever you pay will be better than a gym membership. Onto my experience so far. The first week I found out just how bad my form was and how much of a difference it makes on your core and body when you do lifts and exercises correctly. It was a motivating atmosphere without the pressure of a competitive environment where you are injuring yourself. All I care about now is my form and my results which is why I knew after day one I have found my go to place. Chris who runs my class adapts to each individual and doesn't let you cheat anything. With my gym membership I would of stopped after a certain set or taken an extra rest. Having the motivation of Chris pushing you makes you push harder. Pro Force has trainers and an owner that care about each individual and their outcomes. I have been in the xsport classes that the instructor spent more time looking in the mirror at his arms rather than my form. Anyway, I am only 3 weeks in but feel great and am improving. The class consist of many different exercises that work too many muscles to name. Some I didn't know existed. Trust me I feel it today :). There are many different options for classes and individuals of all levels. However The best part about this is knowing my dollar is going to a family of a gym that is locally owned. The owner also invests time and energy back into my community. I only wish this place existed when I was an athlete as most of us at my age relied on pure athletic ability. Bonus note is they train numerous professional athletes. Knowing these pro athletes train with pro force means it is definitely good enough for me. If your New Years resolution is to find the best place to start or continue an exercise program…read morethis is THE place in the Tri City area. I have been going here for 3 years - prior to that I worked out on my own, I swam, ran did a little of the old P90X. I wasn't in bad shape - but I wasn't in great shape either. I would work out "hard" for a month then lose interest for a month or two then start it up again. I started at ProForce in my late 40s - when my age was starting to really catch up with me - I was waking up with back aches and was sore after yard work and now - I'm almost 50 now and I am in the best shape I have ever been. There are three reasons to go to ProForce 1) Chris is a fantastic trainer - and he along with his staff - really know what they are doing. I had no idea that I was doing most of the exercises wrong or with very poor form. The way I was doing the exercise really wasn't working the muscle groups in the right way (or worse working the wrong groups) and I was suffering because of it. It's really like working out with a personal trainer every day! They watch your form and when it breaks down they correct it - so you don't hurt yourself. They also get you to think about which muscles should be working for a given exercise to really help you focus. They also really work on flexibility and movement - something I had never even considered. Also they treat you like a professional athlete - and sometimes you are working out next to people that were or are professional athletes - which is really cool. At the beginning focus on form - that's the best advice I can give anyone starting here. 2) Variety. Workouts are varied and we rarely do the same workout twice - over three years. This has kept me mentally engaged and interested. Sometimes you work with weights and sometimes it is body weight and they do a lot of good cardio as well. 3) The competition and people in the classes. I enjoy their company - we laugh, we work (hard) and we motivate each other - sometimes you don't feel like working out hard - everyone has those days - but when you are working out with a group - particularly this group - you will find yourself working harder. It doesn't matter what shape you are in right now - there is someone else at your level - to push you and to work with every day.

If it were possible, I'd make it a zero star review…read more No soul should work for this company and no league should contract Official Finders for their games - leagues are far better off finding and contracting their own cadre of sports officials than outsourcing (and undoubtedly overpaying) their league/game assignments to Official Finders, the staff for which have proven themselves to be unprofessional, lacking integrity, prone to issuing threats, and not paying their contracts (as of this writing, I am waiting to be paid for services rendered over two weeks ago - typically, payment occurs the week after an assignment is completed). Official Finders appear to have a company policy to not take any accountability for their actions and be terrible at communication with their cadre of officials. On two separate occasions they deactivated my account because I declined an assignment: the first for games I never asked/requested to officiate and were well out of my area (Owner Tim James deactivated my account and one of the other staff members apologized for Tim James' actions and reactivated my account - Tim James never apologized to me), the second occasion due to having tested positive for covid. This account deactivation is the equivalent of termination (and, in my case, without just cause). In both instances the deactivation/termination came as a sudden knee-jerk reaction, my account was deactivated within minutes of declining an assignment (Official Finders couldn't wait for a simple note stating, "I'm sick and cannot make it" or other statement as to why a game had been declined). On one occasion, Tim James reported to the league director that I had quit (however, I had already built a good working rapport with that director and informed them on what occurred) - the director called out Tim James for lying and informed him that I was one of their (and their league's teams) preferred officials, who had been calling games for them for several years, and had always been prompt in contacting them when any issue surfaces - particularly when not being able to come in and officiate. That said, direct communication to Official Finders is a fruitless endeavor as emails concerning issues receive no response and phone calls are unanswered (regardless of which staff member is contacted). With staff members who have no concern for the personnel to be independently contracted to the various leagues in the area it is no wonder that every Official Finders review on yelp holds a one-star rating. (On a personal note, as can be gleaned above my experiences in regard to interactions with owner Tim James are basically identical to those shared in other reviews that can be seen here.) To every would-be umpire, referee, or other sport official: AVOID Official Finders and Tim James at all costs, contact your local leagues and rec-departments directly about becoming an official for them, you will be far better off and will undoubtedly receive far better training. Although I have been officiating for over 20 years, not once did Official Finders ever contact me to ensure that I was properly trained, attended an annual refresher clinic, or filed with a parent organization (such as USSSA) to be properly registered as an official. Bottom line: DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY
