My pain is caused by 3 herniated discs and it's extremely difficult to drive a total of 3+ hours to make the appointment from Woodstock to Bolingbrook so we requested a remote/online cancellation which was denied. In order to cancel my treatment plan and receive a refund for the remaining appointments, ProMED required me to be physically present for an exit evaluation and made no exceptions for my situation. We tried to communicate our concerns at the lowest level and asked to escalate my issue to Dr. P but they quite literally ignored our request by referring to policy. My oldest son, trying to resolve the situation by providing insight, called 3 days in advance but was met with unsatisfactory customer service by the Office Manager, Kelly. Kelly refused to honor my son's request to speak with Dr. P and when he stayed persistent by calling once a day, he was accused of harassment. Even though they do not have a written policy, they kept insisting for me to be there to get a refund which I paid in cash $3342.97 which also included $102.97 in supplements. I had received 7 treatments out of 36 and I decided to cancel the treatment since driving for 3+ hours increased the pain rather than helping it. I felt more like a number to them and not a person. I've noticed that they recommend 36 treatments for everyone and mislead you by stating that they are not a chiropractic service even though Dr. P is a chiropractor. Also, they do not have enough assistants and that even a receptionist had to get involved in the treatment process. Days after leaving ProMED and being forced to drive to cancel my treatment, I have even more agonizing pain. The cancelling Promed treatment program is ridiculously harder than switching doctors. Note: Even though I showed up for my appointment, I still have not received my refund.

She has NO STAFF and after reading all of her reviews on other sites I now see why. She is very belittling and Irate with her staff and patients. At first I completely understood that she is tough because maybe she has drug seeker patients or drug addict patients, but once she gets to know you and knows that this not what you are about you would think she would treat you as a human. I spent almost 1 year of her horrific treatment before I finally listened to my friends and family and found a new doctor. Be prepared if you have an appointment with Dr. Hashim that your appointment will take at least 3 hours because she does EVERYTHING on her own, from checking you in, running your insurance, doing all of the nurse jobs, setting up another appointment etc. She has NO STAFF because nobody can work with her! Please save yourself the heartache and look elsewhere. There are many other doctors that have a way better bedside manner.

He was pleasant and kind to me however as time went on and I began to become addicted to the pain pills things took a turn for the worst!!! My life was ruined! I had to check myself into a drug facility to wean myself off of the hillbilly heroine they were doling out like they were candy. The staff were all pleasant in the beginning including Dr Goodman but that all changed once they realized that I became addicted. They turned nasty towards me. They became monsters! Even the nurses were mean! No one cared about me! I became extremely depressed for over a year!!! I'm warning you! Do NOT go to these butchers or you'll ruin your life!!! I'm very serious about my warning all of you! If you are considering going to this place I offer you this sage advice. Run like your the last two monkeys boarding Noah's ark and it's starting to rain!!! No no no!!! That's a hard no from me folks! Enter at your own risk!!! You've been warned!!! Danger!!!

I was told they "don't know anyone." That alone was surprising (you're a local pain clinic, allegedly a specialist, but you don't know a single other professional in your industry in the area?), but it got worse. When I said I wasn't a current patient, the response was basically "sorry, we can't help" and the call was ended. Every doctor or clinic I've ever dealt with has at least a short list of referrals when they can't help directly. This felt less like healthcare and more like "if you're not paying us, we're not interested." Not helpful at all. Would not recommend if you're looking for guidance or support navigating care.

He is very short on responding to your questions. He always has "a plan" which he does not reveal until the first line of treatment fails. He will gladly keep injecting you for pain until you realize that surgery is the best option. He will try to convince you that he has the answer. I suggest getting a second opinion after determining if the treatment being provided is working. He completely minimized the importance of a synovial cyst apparent in my MRI. In fact, the cyst was responsible for severe nerve compression. I had 9 different types of lumbar injections. After that I opted for surgery. The doctors at Chicagoland Pain Management do not follow through with writing prescriptions for post-op pain. I went days without any pain medications after a spinal laminectomy and fusion. The nurses who return calls do not even know what type of surgery was performed and where the pain was located in your body. CPM might work for some people. I suggest getting the opinion of a surgeon first, trying the injections and then deciding if the treatment is working. If you feel relief with one or two injections that is great. If the treatments seem to provide no relief then seek help elsewhere.

Since he moved out of state, my current doctor and his PA have decreased my meds, not once, but twice. I never complained about it or tried to do anything to get them increased again. These days, I find myself basically needing to be at the PA's beck and call to come in whenever she sees fit, or else she threatens to withhold my medication (both of which I've been taking for years with no issue. And both which would be dangerous to stop cold turkey). My previous doctor understood that because I'm in my 30s with a job AND a small child, that my availability is not the same as most of their clients who are twice my age. I wouldn't be going through all of these super painful procedures, having to renew FMLA each year, etc if I didn't need to. I've also had sevevel sets of imaging done which clearly show the causes for the pain. A PAIN MANAGEMENT facility should really care alot more about actually managing pain of the patients.
