After going to another pain clinic doctor I real saw how procedures are supposed to go! I didn't just get on a table and have the doctor skewer me and say ok "you're done you can let go of the table ". The lidocaine never even got a chance to work before shoving the device in my back. Then you weren't allowed to recover, you got off the table and you were allowed to sit for a minute and then I was allowed to drive home myself. I went to Ascend pain and Wellness about 2 years ago.I had pain in my left leg. I got a steroid shot in my back, and it helped for about 1 day. After twenty four hours the pain came back just as bad. I went back to Ascend Pain and Wellness and they prescribed some pain medication to help for the pain. I explained to them several times that I was experiencing pain from the shot. They could care less , it fell on deaf ears and all they wanted to do was push some more medication towards me or give me another shot , which I wasn't going to do , because I didn't know what kind of pain that would cause me after the first one caused pain that I had never had experienced before. After 2 years, I'm still experiencing pain and discomfort from that steroid shot. I would never go back to this place and I would recommend going back to Because the doctor who gave me the shot is a clown , as I was talking to his pain specialist josephine , I could see him clowning behind her computer screen with his fingers on the screen, as I was trying to explain to her about the pain of discomfort I was going thru because of the shot. I would go somewhere else and avoid this place all together. I'm so glad I didn't get another shot because I don't know what kind of problems that would have caused for me on top of what i'm already going through. read more

I've been in pain for many years due to a severe spinal disease. I saw him for the first time when my neurosurgeon sent me to his office late one Friday afternoon. I was in terrible pain and Dr. Omar Said kept his office open and waited for me. Who does that? He is compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable and explains everything in great detail. He has read my MRI results to me- on more than one occasion- and goes over everything until I am able to grasp it. He takes a lot of time , every time, and answers all my concerns and many questions. He thoroughly explained my diagnosis, prognosis and in a way I could understand it. He explains all my options, and clearly lays out a treatment plan. He is sympathetic, empathetic and compassionate. There is a level of genuine concern that I have seldom - no, that I have never experienced with any doctor. He explains things in a way that I can understand. I suffer from 70-year old knees in a 40(ish) person's body. I went to all of the "big hospital institutions" downtown to get relief, only to be met with one of 2 responses-"get surgery" or "have you tried Advil"? I found Dr. Said online and my relief began once I walked into the clinic. The modern and clean space without a 100 people in the waiting room was very calming. The front desk staff is always very pleasant and professional.
