The lady proceeds to tell my son horrible things about a mission and horrible things about a religion that he loves and that has brought him out of so many depressing times in his life. He has been so exited to serve others and so exited that he made this choice. All to be shot down by some random lady he just met. I don't understand why people can't just live and let live, show kindness to each other. we will never go to Jude's ever again. And will spread the word all over social media. Every time we asked them to do something else, he walked out with the same high and tight military cut as the last time. And he would scream and fuss and be miserable. Every. Single. Time. We decided to try taking him with his daddy to Classic Gentleman. I came with in case he needed wrangling while dad was getting his cut, but it wasn't necessary at all. The shop owner, Vern, immediately put him at ease by plying him with candies. Now every time we go, my son sees the booster seat getting put on the chair and RUNS over saying, "it's my turn!" Found him on yelp and he was able to get me in right away for a hair and beard trim. I told him I would be there in 30 minutes. Only negative is he arrived about 10 minutes after I did. But I understand things happen. I had a nice comfortable chair to sit in and wait. He did a great job on my hair and salvaging what was left after having to cut it very short. Brought my hair and beard together and everything looked great. Gave me a good straight razor shave. If I am ever back in the area will definitely get another haircut and beard trim from him.
