Imagine paying extra for lettuce and tomato and not getting it. The other reviews were absolutely correct! Wheww, other chick-fil-A's don't get my order wrong.

I try not to eat too much fast food but when traveling I cheat. Expect a line during peak hours. This location is right inside the airport. I have to admit the line moves quickly and the staff was on point the last time I rolled through. If you can snag a rocking chair you'll get the full NC airport experience. If the piano player is on, the ambience is next level.

This Chick-fil-A is a super convenient establishment. It is located in Overstreet Mall and is a SUPER busy location for the Uptown working crowd. Although in Overstreet Mall and not your normal sized Chick-fil-A establishment, it's a good sized restaurant and accomplishes the purpose...good food. There is seating inside the restaurant if you want to dine in and the line forms outside of the restaurant in front of the registers. Staff does a really good job of keeping the line organized and getting everyone moved through in a timely manner. The staff is SUPER friendly and great at this location! However, that is truly a mark of Chick-fil-A stores in general. As mentioned, it is located in Overstreet Mall and only open during business hours (7am-4pm). So unless you are working or visiting/walking around Uptown, driving in to this location probably wouldn't work. There are parking garages around, but if you are not already parked or Uptown in general, probably better to visit another location. It's definitely a great option!

    Very small fry

This location is clearly overwhelmed every day during lunch. My fries are always warm, not hot, and very lack there of during lunch. Makes you not even want to spend your money, since you won't get the adequate amount.

Delicious plastic in the breading of my Chick-fil-A sandwich.

Management does not care about this location. They get more than enough business to stay open. I had an issue with my meal back on 3/16 - my sandwich was wrong, and then my sandwich had PLASTIC in it. Like many people grabbing lunch here working in uptown, I don't have the luxury to go back to the restaurant not once, but twice to complain. I sent feedback via Chick-fil-A website. It's now 4/7 and I have still not heard from the restaurant. Terrible terrible terrible customer service. Chick-fil-A as a whole is not longer the brand and customer service they used to be known for. This is a prime example

Delicious chicken, crispy hot fries and great service!

This was a critical mistake, as their entire system relies on notifying customers when food is ready. I was originally told the wait time would be about 30 minutes. I returned after nearly 50 minutes, only to find that my food still wasn't ready. After waiting even longer, I eventually learned that the delay was due to my number being entered incorrectly, meaning I never received any notification that my food was ready--or possibly even completed. What should have been a quick stop for food at 5:20 PM turned into a nearly 2.5-hour ordeal, with us not receiving our food until around 7:50 PM. To make matters worse, when we asked about the delay, we were told the wait was an hour--contradicting the original 30-minute estimate. To top it off, the food itself was disappointing. The rice and noodles were hard, as if they were either undercooked or improperly cooked on the grill. The shrimp were the only part of the meal that actually tasted good. This entire situation could have easily been avoided if the staff had simply confirmed my contact information properly. When your system depends on accurate phone numbers, it's essential to double or even triple check that information with customers. Very disappointing experience overall.

A sister concept to Noble Smoke, this original location on Freedom Drive is located on the same premise. They are small, and the menu is very focused. Fried chicken sandwiches, tenders, and nuggets. But they do it so well! The meat is cooked and breaded to perfection, and they use Duke's Mayo along with buns from the owners bakery called Copain I believe. Jim Noble is a well known restauranter and it is clear if you've been to any of his restaurants that he is passionate about what he does. Bossy Beulah's is a perfect example as it is a small simple concept that absolutely nails all of the small details to provide a high quality meal.

Music was playing in the background not too loud but just right (at least for me). Customer service was very welcoming and helped me out because this was my first time there at their establishment. *on to the food* I ordered a chicken sandwich and some chicken tenders. That chicken sandwich was so flavorful. It wasn't too crunchy as well. I despise crunchy chicken like I'm eating on chips and this was far from that. The chicken tenders were very good as well, no complaints. They have a homemade lemonade, nothing to scream about but it was good. The reason for a 4 out of 5, is because of their ranch. I felt like it was freshly handmade but it just had a different taste to it. It wasn't hidden valley lol or wing stop type of ranch. Regardless, though, I can buy my own ranch and whenever I do go back to Charlotte, I will definitely be coming back here to get some chicken.

We originally found out about HA's from a neighbor, and I added this business page to Yelp to be able to share my photos and experiences to help spread the word about this awesome local spot!

The restaurant is larger than it appears with plenty of seating at tables and the counter. It's spotlessly clean with two all-gender bathrooms. Every worker we encountered was cheerful, super polite, and willing to help. I only waited in line for less than a minute before it was my turn to order. I ordered two Hot Thigh sandwiches to go and then I saw on the order board that they had soft serve ice cream. I just love a good soft serve cone, so I ordered two as well. My husband and I sat down at a table briefly to eat our ice cream cones and wait for our sandwiches to be ready. The ice cream cones looked like they were vanilla, but were actually sugar cookie flavored. That was a fun surprise and quite enjoyable. Soon our sandwiches were ready, wrapped nicely and packed in a bag for us. I was very surprised at how heavy the bag was. We had a long drive home and popped them into the fridge. At dinner time, we unwrapped them and just barely reheated them in the microwave. All I can say is, if they were this good after all that time and being reheated, fresh off the griddle would've blown our minds. I'm not kidding, those were the best hot chicken sandwiches that we've had in a long time. The bun was super soft, they were very generous with the hot sauce and the Duke's mayo, and the not-quite-spicy pickles were very nice touch. The chicken thighs, two(!) to a sandwich, are fried perfectly with a flavorful thin batter, not too thick, and the thigh meat literally melted in your mouth. It was probably the most tender chicken I have ever had. Seriously, you have all got to try this place!
