And the kitchen clearly knows how to cook food. The fried chicken was cooked beautifully. Crispy on the outside. Juicy on the inside. Exactly the texture you're hoping for when you order Southern fried chicken. The problem? The seasoning apparently called in sick. This chicken had all the flavor intensity of a weather report. No noticeable salt. No spice. No personality. It tasted like the chef had just completed community service at a nursing home and was legally prohibited from possessing a salt shaker. My piece of chicken was juicy and cooked properly. Unfortunately, my wife's chicken breast was noticeably dry, which didn't help matters. Then came the fried pickles. No seasoning.
