The food tasted fine. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and very well maintained. My order, however, was a joke. The breakfast scramble bowl I ordered wasn't even half full. I could see the bottom of the darn bowl. For just under $10 I left still mildly hungry and frustrated. Stopped here after work to get my birthday treat, ordered the chicken strips because they are my favorite! I would choose their strips over any other fast food joint. I also got the oreo milkshake, which was just perfectly sweet and creamy. I asked for their chick fil a sauce, and instead of just giving me 1 or 2, she gave me this bag with 5! I thought their nuggets were very small and expensive but of course their service was excellent even though there was a huge line. Their french fries were crispy and delicious. Went through the drive in. Paid 14 and some change for a meal. Pulled up to the window and the server asked my name, and said it would be right out, and to pull forward. All pretty standard, but then the waiting began. Car after car gets their order. After about 10 mins, server comes to car and asks what my name is. I tell her. Goes back. Don't see her for a while. Comes back another 5 minutes later, asks name again. Goes back, I don't see her again. Another 5 minutes passes, and different server comes to ask my name and what I ordered. I tell her again, as well as reiterated my order. She says the other server didn't understand my name...it's pretty simple. Jack. Not an unusual name - not sure how you could misunderstand that.. She disappears. Another 5 minutes passes. A manager comes out and asks me what I ordered. I'm a bit frustrated by this point, so I explain again. The manager has an attitude, is surly,, and offers no explanation, no apology. Puts in another order. A few minutes later, another server brings my simple 4 PC chicken strip meal, and days here you go, thanks for waiting. I used to come to this location frequently, but after a terrible customer service experience and a manager who clearly has a bad attitude, along with a 20-plus minute wait at the drive through, I likely won't be back. I thought chick- fil-a prided itself on great customer service, and I'm always willing to pay a bit more for their meals. This location missed the mark by a country mile. read more

We stopped for an early lunch at Chick fil a on North Academy at 10:10 on a Saturday morn. No lunch available so we both ordered a chicken biscuit to go. When the food was delivered, the woman said they had to substitute French fries for the home fries. I thought that was strange because I was sure we just ordered the biscuits and a drink. Wow! I've been to many Chick-fil-A across the U.S. and I have to give this one a shoot out. Food was on point. I asked for all the sauces to try and they provided. A store manager walked around to check on the customers. I noticed I did not have ketchup and she went to get some for me. The bathroom was clean (not one piece of paper on the floor). They even had a touchless trash can. I interacted with 5 staff members and they were all super nice and helpful. This location exceeded any of my previous experience. read more

So today I stopped by this location at 7990 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80920 and Stevie saved my life. I have a super angry pregnant woman that is due in a week and had to have her chick-fil-a chicken biscuits. Because of a few complications I was not able to get them on time. So I was given the ultimatum. Come home with the biscuits or don't come home at all. Being that it was 20 degrees outside and not used to this weather (just got stationed here), that seemed like a death penalty. Never been dissatisfied with Chick-fil-A, until today. The clerk took good care of my friend and I, when my other friend did not receive the same attention to her service, is when the problem started. We had waited a good 6-8 minutes in line (not a problem). The lady who took care of me did a fine job except for one thing (coming later). My friend (we'll call her Betty) waited way too long for her food. Other people who were behind us in line got their orders before her. Betty's food was sitting on the counter behind the cashiers for around 8-10 minutes. When Betty was handed her food, it was almost like she was an inconvenience to the team. When I got back to my school after taking my lunch time, I found a long dark hair in my sweet tea and was extremely disappointed. For a fast food establishment, this is going to be as pleasant of an experience as you'll get. The cashiers are friendly and helpful, they bring your food to your table, there are real flowers on each table, and they even come around offering after dinner mints. My boyfriend's spicy chicken sandwich tasted really good - fresh and crispy, with the meat striations that you'd expect of real chicken meat, not the patty nonsense they serve at McDonalds. Always friendly, with great food. Their allergen list is accessable and easy to navigate. Fast service, and we appreciate the offers of drink refills and having our table cleaned by staff. We often have a handicapped person in our party, and the staff is always accomodating and helpful. The chicken sandwiches are our family's favourite, with soft breading and buttery buns. The waffle-fries are a close second, though - golden brown and crispy. The sauces are all worth a try, but Polynesian, which tastes like sweet Catalina dressing to me is our standby. Say what you will about their politics, you cannot beat their customer service. Today we had a extremely rare display of how to do customer service right. We received a handwritten note from the manager apologizing for missing a four piece chicken. The note included two coupons for free chicken strips. Class act in my book. This one seems particularly well run, with sincerely cheerful drive-thru and counter staff. Place always seems busy, but they crank through the service. I particularly love their strawberry shakes. But let me just say, I was pretty offended at the drive thru window when the white girl behind him was talking to the other employees with a fake Asian accent. As a Korean, I'm pretty pissed about it. I don't care what she was talking about, but it was really freaking rude! Not cool, very offensive. It would've been fine... I mean for all I know, she grew up in an Asian household. I grew up in Japan, so I'm fine with giving her the benefit of the doubt, but then she started talking normal. This is awful. I just went into this Chick-fil-A to pick up an order for work and I ordered myself some lunch. There was no business in there and they got my ticket wrong. They got my sandwich wrong. I had to go back through the drive-through. The two girls working there were not friendly, which I thought was Chick-fil-A's whole thing they did they told me to go around. I waited 10 more minutes in the drive-through the girl who met me was not real friendly either. She said she couldn't take my sandwich back when I wanted a refund but I did not want it in my car so she did take it.
