The food tasted fine. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and very well maintained. My order, however, was a joke. The breakfast scramble bowl I ordered wasn't even half full. I could see the bottom of the darn bowl. For just under $10 I left still mildly hungry and frustrated. Now before you say, "why didn't you say something?", it was on them to get it right without me having to say something. Very disappointed by this experience. read more

i hate to do this but its nessasary i came here im a great mood for breakfast and ordered a bisquot sandwick and coffee and potatpes. i recieved my sandwick and started to eat, it was litterally ice cold so i returned it to the counter and told the gentelman who checked it and said your rigjt it is ! he got me amother which was cold also iretirned it and complained to which the girl took it and said we"ll fix it and in a great while later brought me another one it was cold also so i have no option but to eat a cold breakfast and rage on here about the horrible food service and the total lack of concern about food complaint the staff didnt give a dam about it and said they were followimg procedure so if something was wrong it wasnt their fault well i paid 8 bucks for a cold breakfast and a staff that didnt give a shit i also bring to light i was the only one in the diner at 8 am when other places are packed for breakfast i now know its because of shit like this nnobody wants to eat cold breakfast and just be given more of the same chick fil a you suck at breakfast and i wont be ripped off again for 8 bucks for cold food and employees that dont give a shit ill take my daily breakfast outing to somewhere they actually do it rigjt like mcdonalds whereci get it fresh and hot read more

My husband and I went through the drive thru because he wanted to order their peppermint shake so I ordered their 20 piece grilled nuggets with fries. I thought their nuggets were very small and expensive but of course their service was excellent even though there was a huge line. Their french fries were crispy and delicious. Think I rather go somewhere else to get grilled tenders which are larger and not as expensive. read more

Went through the drive in. Paid 14 and some change for a meal. Pulled up to the window and the server asked my name, and said it would be right out, and to pull forward. All pretty standard, but then the waiting began. Car after car gets their order. After about 10 mins, server comes to car and asks what my name is. I tell her. Goes back. Don't see her for a while. Comes back another 5 minutes later, asks name again. Goes back, I don't see her again. Another 5 minutes passes, and different server comes to ask my name and what I ordered. I tell her again, as well as reiterated my order. She says the other server didn't understand my name...it's pretty simple. Jack. Not an unusual name - not sure how you could misunderstand that.. She disappears. Another 5 minutes passes. A manager comes out and asks me what I ordered. I'm a bit frustrated by this point, so I explain again. The manager has an attitude, is surly,, and offers no explanation, no apology. Puts in another order. A few minutes later, another server brings my simple 4 PC chicken strip meal, and days here you go, thanks for waiting. I used to come to this location frequently, but after a terrible customer service experience and a manager who clearly has a bad attitude, along with a 20-plus minute wait at the drive through, I likely won't be back. I thought chick- fil-a prided itself on great customer service, and I'm always willing to pay a bit more for their meals. This location missed the mark by a country mile. read more

We stopped for an early lunch at Chick fil a on North Academy at 10:10 on a Saturday morn. No lunch available so we both ordered a chicken biscuit to go. When the food was delivered, the woman said they had to substitute French fries for the home fries. I thought that was strange because I was sure we just ordered the biscuits and a drink. As we walked out, my husband said he didn't order the meal. So charged for fries we didn't want and will throw out. Mostly perturbed we have to throw out food. Please Chick-fil-A, verify the orders. I did anUber Eats order. I did my part, but since Chick-fil-A totally forgot a customers bag, now I'm getting penalized for their Miss Cue. I mapped this location as it was close to my hotel and says it closes at 10. I get there at 9.30 and guess what closed up right! I get it things change, but update your hours then! Just silly things like this will make me think twice about ever mapping out a Chick-Fil-A again. read more

Wow! I've been to many Chick-fil-A across the U.S. and I have to give this one a shoot out. Food was on point. I asked for all the sauces to try and they provided. A store manager walked around to check on the customers. I noticed I did not have ketchup and she went to get some for me. The bathroom was clean (not one piece of paper on the floor). They even had a touchless trash can. I interacted with 5 staff members and they were all super nice and helpful. This location exceeded any of my previous experience. read more

So today I stopped by this location at 7990 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80920 and Stevie saved my life. I have a super angry pregnant woman that is due in a week and had to have her chick-fil-a chicken biscuits. Because of a few complications I was not able to get them on time. So I was given the ultimatum. Come home with the biscuits or don't come home at all. Being that it was 20 degrees outside and not used to this weather (just got stationed here), that seemed like a death penalty. But after calling this location and Stevie helping me out, I was able to get my warden (wife) her biscuits. Now I know why chick-fil-a is the best, it's because they hire the best. Stevie truly is the best and this location has my business for life. I will only come to this location. P.S. I think Stevie is related to Santa Claus because only them two can make that kinda magic. you know i usally like chick fil a, but last time i went it was a complete mess. first the line was long, super annoying, then the lady taking my order, i think her name was hannah, was giving me some additude which i completely find disgusting, and i got my food, it was decent but i would say it's definitely over rated! oh and it was loud in there, kids screaming it was a complete mess. 2 stars chick fil a, do better. read more

Never been dissatisfied with Chick-fil-A, until today. The clerk took good care of my friend and I, when my other friend did not receive the same attention to her service, is when the problem started. We had waited a good 6-8 minutes in line (not a problem). The lady who took care of me did a fine job except for one thing (coming later). My friend (we'll call her Betty) waited way too long for her food. Other people who were behind us in line got their orders before her. Betty's food was sitting on the counter behind the cashiers for around 8-10 minutes. When Betty was handed her food, it was almost like she was an inconvenience to the team. When I got back to my school after taking my lunch time, I found a long dark hair in my sweet tea and was extremely disappointed. I will be taking this visit into consideration the next time I chose to go to N. Academy Chick-fil-A. read more

For a fast food establishment, this is going to be as pleasant of an experience as you'll get. The cashiers are friendly and helpful, they bring your food to your table, there are real flowers on each table, and they even come around offering after dinner mints. My boyfriend's spicy chicken sandwich tasted really good - fresh and crispy, with the meat striations that you'd expect of real chicken meat, not the patty nonsense they serve at McDonalds. The waffle fries could have been a bit more hot and crispy though, and my grilled chicken nuggets were a bjt small and greasy. read more

Typical over the top friendly and polite Chick-fil-a service. Very quick. The lunch and dinner rush is a nightmare and I'd avoid it. It has gotten better with 2 drive-thru lanes, but it is a madhouse. This CFA hosts community bike rides on Saturday mornings. They have free breakfast items for the riders too! read more

First time to a Chick-fill-A in years. In for a late lunch on a Saturday at 2pm. VERY busy! Place your order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Ordered a 3 piece chicken strips meal. $7.19 Included fries and a soda. 3 tiny ( about 3 inches long ea ) strips were tasteless and over cooked. For the price, there should be 6 pieces. If I ever go back, it will NOT be for the strips!! read more

Always friendly, with great food. Their allergen list is accessable and easy to navigate. Fast service, and we appreciate the offers of drink refills and having our table cleaned by staff. We often have a handicapped person in our party, and the staff is always accomodating and helpful. The chicken sandwiches are our family's favourite, with soft breading and buttery buns. The waffle-fries are a close second, though - golden brown and crispy. The sauces are all worth a try, but Polynesian, which tastes like sweet Catalina dressing to me is our standby. Chick-fil-A is our family's default, where we go for a quick bite. read more

Say what you will about their politics, you cannot beat their customer service. Today we had a extremely rare display of how to do customer service right. We received a handwritten note from the manager apologizing for missing a four piece chicken. The note included two coupons for free chicken strips. Class act in my book. This one seems particularly well run, with sincerely cheerful drive-thru and counter staff. Place always seems busy, but they crank through the service. I particularly love their strawberry shakes. In this era of increasingly apathetic service at most places, let alone fast food, this is a rarity. Hope you have the same positive experience. read more

I love Chick-fil-A... the guy in the drive thru was probably the sweetest person I've ever talked to at any Chik-fil-A. But let me just say, I was pretty offended at the drive thru window when the white girl behind him was talking to the other employees with a fake Asian accent. As a Korean, I'm pretty pissed about it. I don't care what she was talking about, but it was really freaking rude! Not cool, very offensive. It would've been fine... I mean for all I know, she grew up in an Asian household. I grew up in Japan, so I'm fine with giving her the benefit of the doubt, but then she started talking normal. This is awful. It's dinner time. Maybe you should be more aware of the people driving up to the window. read more

I just went into this Chick-fil-A to pick up an order for work and I ordered myself some lunch. There was no business in there and they got my ticket wrong. They got my sandwich wrong. I had to go back through the drive-through. The two girls working there were not friendly, which I thought was Chick-fil-A's whole thing they did they told me to go around. I waited 10 more minutes in the drive-through the girl who met me was not real friendly either. She said she couldn't take my sandwich back when I wanted a refund but I did not want it in my car so she did take it. I don't eat at Chick-fil-A much and I will never eat there again it was a horrible experience read more

My husband got the all American burger, with fries. It was a good size, very juicy and delicious. Wow the fries are amazing super crispy, we had some left over and they were still tasty the next day! I got the Korean ribeye Bimbibap, it had a bit of a kick of spice to it, the rice and the veggies and the meat were perfectly seasoned. Super delicious. Over all the prices were decent for lunch, regular menu was a little more on the pricy side, you can get dishes for $$20 plus, other than that the service was great, food was good, being able to bring our dog so he can experience was great, will be coming back to try other items!!

First Visit -- Average at Best…read more This was our first time trying Lazy Dog, and unfortunately, we left feeling that the experience was pretty average at best overall. We ordered the fried deviled eggs, which we were really looking forward to trying, but unfortunately, they never came out. That was disappointing, especially since one of the reasons we ordered them was simply to see what they were like. For my main course, I ordered the chicken pot pie. It was decent, but nothing really stood out. It had the traditional ingredients--chicken, carrots, and onions--in a light, turkey-style gravy. It was good enough, but it didn't have that rich, traditional pot-pie flavor I was expecting. The crust was only on top, but it was good. Before ordering, I specifically asked the waitress if there was a good amount of chicken in the pot pie because many restaurants serve what I like to call an "essence of chicken" pot pie with more gravy than meat. I would estimate this one had less than 6 ounces of chicken, and I definitely would have preferred more. The filling was much heavier on gravy than chicken. We arrived early enough that my wife ordered from the lunch menu, which included soup and salad. She said it was average at best, and unfortunately, there wasn't anything that really stood out to her either. Our server was friendly, but there was one interaction that was a little odd. When she brought me a refill on my iced tea, she stood there in a way that made it feel almost like she expected recognition or praise for simply doing her job. It was a small thing, but it added to the overall impression of the service. The biggest disappointment was finding out afterward why we never received the deviled eggs. When we asked about them, we were told the kitchen had prioritized our meals because they were the faster items to prepare. I'm not sure that's a great explanation. That's really just time management--if an appetizer is ordered, it should either be prepared and brought out or the server should let the customer know there's an issue. Overall, Lazy Dog was average at best for us. Nothing we had really stood out, and the missed appetizer certainly didn't help the experience. That said, I think it's worth trying for yourself. We may come back one more time just to give it a fair shot, because one visit isn't always enough to judge a restaurant. But based on this first experience, it will probably be a while before we return.
