The cheesesteak was made perfectly, on par with Angelo's. Iykyk. Wait time was surprising. No more than 20 minutes. I've waited longer for a bad cheesesteak. There is not one thing they did not do with thought and love for the food. The fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, there was a delicious slaw on it, the extra side sauces, a toasted bun and even a free reusable bag for take-out! I thought that $15 for 2 sliders and fries was excellent bc Dave's Hot chicken literally chargest the same thing and you get less food. I ate one slider with some fries and was so full. Usually, I could point out a favorite side and one that's not so good, but all three sides were really good. The candied yams were exceptional. That sweet taste of caramelized cinnamon baked right in. It's a perfect dessert by itself. The mac and cheese was on point with its stringy cheese and browned cheese topping. There's cheese, cheese, and more cheese in it. The collard greens... well, it's kale and I typically don't like kale but the masterful way they prepared this kale has me forgetting that it is kale. The pork ribs have meat that fall off the bone and have that wonderful smoked flavor. Nuff said! The sauce was a little different than what I'm used to - it seems a little vinegary - but still quite good and appropriate for the meat.
