Food is great, but despite the profile indicating Dine-In, dine in seating is NOT allowed. It would be helpful for those of us traveling to know this, and for the profile to be accurate.

Recently, I called them and the man who answered was nice and said they would hold two pies for me and my order would be ready when I got there. He asked me when I would be there and I said, "15 minutes." I got there, pulled up to the order box and told them I was there to pick up an order. When I got to the window, the worker said he had no record of my order. After I was made to wait 10 min. (there were NO other customers there but me) I was fuming. I parked my car and went inside to complain. When I told the "manager" that I had ordered over the phone she claimed that they don't do that and that whomever I had spoken to was "lying" to me. Huh? I demanded an apology and received an insincere one. They then brought out my order and the manager said it wasn't mine and that it was for delivery. Her co-worker said it was mine. It was. She sarcasticly said, "Sorry again." I said, "Don't talk to me." She then ran off, screaming "Leave me alone!!" One worker yelled at me, "Get the hell out out of here!" I took my food and as I was leaving, I said, "You are the ones who screwed up, not me." Another worker says to me, "Why don't you go cry about it?" As I was getting into my car, the manager screams at me, "Don't ever come back!" As though I would! As I drove home, she kept calling my cell (the phone I had used when I called them) over and over and hanging up. What kind of sick person does that? WTH? My son later called the store, she picks up and says to him, "If you mess with us, we'll mess with you!" and hangs up. As far as I am concerned, these people are all lunatics and I don't know how they stay in business.

Food? life-changing fried chicken, cheese curds, and cocktails that I'm still not over. Environment? somehow cozy and cool at the same time. This is the kind of place that feels way too unique to ever become a chain... which is devastating news because I desperately wish there was one in Kansas City. And honestly, that's probably why it's so special. It feels deeply Madison in the best way- intentional, high quality, and focused on doing their thing really, really well. Also, shoutout to Ian, the manager, who was amazing and made an already great experience even better with trinkets! Anyway, if you need me, I'll be emotionally processing the fact that we only got to eat here once. Can't wait to come back!

If that doesn't suit you, perhaps a sandwich of rotisserie chicken where the combined depth of the bread is roughly six times the height of the chicken. On a positive, the kids liked it and the cheese curds were tasty, if you crave the fried fat delicacy of Wisconsin. If I were to return and, in all seriousness, I would if others in the group persisted; I would order the chicken tenders where you are able to define where the chicken begins and the batter ends. Oh, the staff is a real positive and the decor and service outstanding. Games are available to play. The staff picks up the tables instead of you and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I didn't know what to expect as I didn't take the time to check it out. When we walked into the restaurant I reality is a fast food chain. This particular restaurant is in what use to be a Hardies. It had a cool decor and we were welcomed upon entry. As we were looking o er the order board the cashier asked us if this was our first time and replied yes. He explained the spice levels and what we could substitute for sides etc. We both ordered the #3 with cheesy fries and a drink. Our meal included a chicken slider that had coleslaw and a sauce. It was more of a sandwich than slider, and another large piece of chicken that was like a half of a breast that laid on top of a piece of white bread. Dill pickle slices, a side of sauce and the cheesy fries rounded out the meal. The sandwich was delicious with the combo of coleslaw and sauce. The larger piece of chicken was surprisingly very tender and moist. The French fries were ok. If I were to go back I would skip the cheese topping. We both jumped in the ice tea as they had unsweetened, sweet, raspberry and peach. We got the sweet tea and it was pretty weak. We head south every winter and usually if I get sweet tea I will mix a little unsweetened tea into it. This sweet tea was ok with the sweetness for me but it seemed really watered down. I'm not one for fast food but I would stop back here for a piece of chicken or take out a bucket. I'm not sure how they make their chicken but it had a dry rub over a light texture, thinking the chicken may be deep fried and then Tossed in the dry rub. Our rub was medium heat. It was borderline spicy enough but next time we may try the next step in the hot spice.

Second visit -- first time at the new location -- and unfortunately a disappointing one. I was…read moregenuinely excited to bring a friend and support a local spot I've enjoyed in the past. The décor and overall aesthetic are lovely, but the food and service didn't come close to matching the first time. The biggest issue was temperature. Majority of food on the plate was not hot and not warm -- not the chicken, not the rice, not the beans. At the previous location, you could see the chickens roasting on the spit, and the food arrived hot and fresh. Here, I'm not sure what's happening behind the scenes, but the food temps indicate it had all been sitting. The only item that was freshly prepared were the plantains. I didn't bring it up to the server because she was checked out the entire time, and honestly, I can't expect her to remedy the kitchen if she can't bring waters. Why is the kitchen sending out food that clearly isn't hot? Is it being held in a steamer? If so the temps are not being checked and that becomes a food safety issue beyond quality‑control issues. Service itself also missed the mark. The pretty glasses are small -- though pretty-- and I had to flag the server down for refills. Same with the sauces that are supposed to come with the meal; they only arrived after I asked. To be clear it was 1:00 on a Monday and there was one other table in the place at arrival, and one table after our arrival. I had been planning another visit to introduce a different friend, but after this experience, I don't think I'll be returning. I hope things improve, because the new space deserves better execution than what's currently coming out of the kitchen.

This place has such a fun atmosphere, it's bright and cheery and full of greenery and bright colors. Just what was needed in the midst of March snowfall. We came for lunch so I didn't have a chance to try and of the fun sounding alcoholic beverages on their drink menu, but it's on my list to come back here. I ended up getting the arroz con pollo. Perfectly cooked chicken over cilantro rice with a bunch of yummy stuff in it! There were two different sauces on the table, I don't even know what they were, but I used both on my rice (even though it didn't need any help) and they were delicious. If I had a complaint, I wish there was an option (charge me $2 extra?) to have the chicken taken off the bone... probably one of my least favorite things to do but I feel I'm in the minority. It wasn't super busy when we went, but our server was still very attentive and kind. Can't wait to come back.
