Super fun tables - great colors plus a history lesson!

OMG this place - it felt like getting a home cooked meal in a tropical wonderland. I came here with a group of friends after it came highly recommended. This place has such a fun atmosphere, it's bright and cheery and full of greenery and bright colors. Just what was needed in the midst of March snowfall. We came for lunch so I didn't have a chance to try and of the fun sounding alcoholic beverages on their drink menu, but it's on my list to come back here. I ended up getting the arroz con pollo. Perfectly cooked chicken over cilantro rice with a bunch of yummy stuff in it! There were two different sauces on the table, I don't even know what they were, but I used both on my rice (even though it didn't need any help) and they were delicious. If I had a complaint, I wish there was an option (charge me $2 extra?) to have the chicken taken off the bone... probably one of my least favorite things to do but I feel I'm in the minority. It wasn't super busy when we went, but our server was still very attentive and kind. Can't wait to come back.

pikkito is such a hidden gem omg. my mom actually found it on yelp and we decided to try it and i'm so glad we did. it was so fun and ethnic inside and had such a cozy vibe. our server was super nice and even gave us free drinks which was so sweet. he didnt know that much english but there were other people who did so it wasn't really an issue at all. my mom got the lomo saltado which is beef with fries and rice. i thought it was okay but the green sauce was the star of the show. it added so much flavor. i got the mostrito and it was actually amazing. it came with a quarter rotisserie chicken that was so tender and had the perfect amount of flavor, plus fried rice, fries, and a small salad. all the flavors worked so well together and it was honestly so good for the price. i couldn't even finish it and had leftovers for the next day. it paired really well with their yellow sauce which tasted like it might be egg yolk based or something but idk it was really good. the service was so nice and it made me sad that it wasn't more crowded because they deserve more love. i would definitely come back for that mostrito again.

Run, don't walk! What an unreal dining experience. The most surprising part was that it's tucked away in a small strip mall. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and the service was spot-on. Very attentive and kind staff. The food is next level. Every dish that came out was hearty and packed with flavor. You can tell there's real passion and authenticity behind the menu. The portions were generous but balanced, and the signature sauces were out of this world. It was just effortlessly good. For appetizers we tried the yuca and ceviche, which tasted so fresh with the perfect balance of acidity. Our table tried the lomo soltado, 1/4 chicken and creole bowl. We all nearly licked our plates clean. I've had a lot of Peruvian food in the states and this was by far my favorite. We tried all three desserts as well. Top of the list was the flan, which we dug into before we could snap a photo. It was hands down one of the best I've had. The texture and consistency were spot on. We also had the tres leches (pictured) and alfajores. None of the desserts felt overly sweet, which is perfect for my taste. While I no longer drink, they did appear to have a bar. I will definitely be back again when I'm in town.

I was so torn between the different options! Everything was so clean on the inside and all of the food was so fresh! Definitely a modern place! I finally decided on the buffalo chicken bowl called Bold & Buffalo. It has brown rice, arugula, buffalo chicken, carrots, radicchio, white cheddar, roasted cauliflower, croutons**, & ranch dressing. It was definitely a party in my mouth and my soul was happy! It was so good I immediately thought, if I had the money I'd open up a C&G in my city! I was so pleased. The only disappointing thing about this place is that they don't have one in my city!!! Lol! I'm a huge CG fan now!!!

I came here with a small group and we went in to order at staggered times since we sat outside with some of our pups. It wasn't crazy busy or crowded, but it took forever to get our food. At one point we were worried something happened and felt like maybe we should go check on the people ordering inside. I ordered the Wild Child bowl, and while it was good, the flavoring was overall just kinda bland -- not bad, just bland. I still happily ate it all, but there are other options in the area with similar food concepts and I might go there instead given the option. Still, if in the area, I would definitely order from here again.

Food: A nice selection of pizza, split between ones with and without tomato sauce. I got the Lombarda which has Gorgonzola Cream, Pears and Apricot Glaze and Arugula. My wife got a cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion (CSMO). Both of them came out, pipe hot, with nice crisp crust. Nice presentation for both pizzas. They were both good, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the Lombarda. If it had Apricot Glaze, it wasn't very noticable, and maybe was the reason that it needed a bit of salt to enhance the toppings. The CSMO was very flavorful, and clearly the better of the two. Service: Super friendly and helpful service, both when ordering and when the food was delivered. The cashier was patient and happy to give us advice on what their favorites were. Atmosphere: It's a small place. Some interesting vintage large photo print on the walls. You order at the counter, then take a seat at one of the tables along the left side of the restaurant. It looked like there were as many people picking up to-go orders, as there were dining in. It has an extensive menu selection of Mediterranean food and friendly staff. I would have to say that the dips are the star of the show. Getting a combination of a couple or doing one of their platters that gets you a variety is key. The pita bread comes out hot and you can easily share with friends and debate on the best one. The grilled platter we got was also good. The meat wasn't as juicy as I would have liked it, but it hit the Mediterranean flavors well. The rice was more sweet and dry than I typically like my rice, but went well with the meal. The day after it was not good at all though, so that got some point deductions for me. Overall, if you're craving Mediterranean at a chill spot, it's not bad, but it's not the best. I would say 3.5 overall, but 4 for the dips.
