Hard pass. I don't know why I do this to myself. I can't stand this chick-fil-a but it is SO CLOSE to my house...I was craving a chicken breakfast burrito...haven't had one? YOU NEED TO TRY IT! Line was slow but not especially so...Got up to the window, got my drink but had to wait for my food. It's going to be piping hot, right??? Went through the drive-through with an order for two salads with hot filets and a water. Since it was a somewhat specialty order and they asked me to go park and they would bring it to me. Walked in the restaurant 15 minutes later because I hadn't gotten my food. Apparently they gave it to another car. I understand if that happens. Then I stood there with 10 other people waiting for my food for the next 15 minutes. Got my food, walked out to my car, I left, and then realized that I didn't have any salad dressings, forks, or toppings for those salads. Turned back around and had to go back inside. I could've gone to CFA Roxboro Road, went through the drive-through twice, and drove back in the period of time it took me to get two salads. Management was nowhere to be seen until I left the second time. Had Jordyn flag him down for a man that had been waiting FIFTY minutes. This location is the only exception to the gold standard of service set by the Chick-Fil-A franchise. We have been twice and each time have endured extremely long wait times. This last visit we opted to go inside in hopes it would be faster, but ended up waiting 30 minutes. Definitely in need of a management change. read more

I visited the Chick-fil-a on Hillsboro Road Durham , Nc. While there I witnessed who I believe to be the manager (Dwayne) talking with two female employees. He stated "The conversation should have ended because you don't want any of this". He then stood behind the works in what felt to me in a hostile manner after he aggressively made the comment above. For this to be chick-fil-a and as a food service suthis was very disturbing to witness. Employees should not be threatened, harassed or demeaned. This is not my first time seeing or hearing how bad employees are being treated at this specific location. I expect better from Chick-fil-a and it's representatives. read more

We had to wait almost 20 minutes for our order which "mysteriously" disappeared from the system. It seems other reviewers experienced similar delays. From my view, it seemed that much of the staff was dedicated to the drive thru window and hence customers dining in might have to wait longer as a result. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in the south, eat Chick-fil-A. And if you are a fast food restaurant owner, do as the manager of this location has done and put service first! Chick-fil-A's are generally known for kind, attentive service. I was first introduced to their brand of Southern hospitality first at this CFA. I couldn't believe when, as I was eating my meal, an employee offered to clear some of my empty containers and offered me a refill! If you follow them on Facebook, you can also find out about fun events like Daddy/Daughter nights, Kids' activity nights, etc. In a crowded fast food market, on a street chock-full of fast food establishments, these little things help establish CFA as a destination. In recent months I've been more inclined to visit them in the Drive-thru lane. The line is frequently long, but the team is well-practiced and you can usually get through pretty quickly. Pulling out onto Hillsborough Rd on the other hand.... FYI if you have young'uns they also have a playscape. read more

The food is always great but in order to get the food you have to wait in a super long line inside or drive through. They need to higher more workers and be better prepared for the larger crowds. They are always incredibly slow getting food out and ready and this is suppose to be a fast food restaurant. I also have had a run in with a few rude employees and that is not the Chickfila brand they usually are trying to create. They also need to figure out their drive through line because it blocks atleast 5 parking spots and 2 handicap spots and can sometimes cause major traffic in the parking lot. They are lucky they are the only close by Chickfila or I don't see them having as many customers. It's time they fix this place up to be just as good as the other Chickfilas. read more

EVERY. TIME. Every time I use this location, I want to strangle somebody. No matter how slow it is, there will be an issue. Straws not provided at the drive through. The wrong number of nuggets in your bag. Recently, they took the cake: I went in to have a leisurely breakfast, paid, and was told to grab a seat and my food would be brought out when it was ready. Five minutes go by. Ten. No food. Thirteen... At this point I have to be in the office inside of ten minutes, so I march back up to the counter to see what in the loving land of hell can be holding up the order. I am told that we are waiting on hash browns. 13 minutes for hash browns?!? Then they give me my food: the hash browns are lukewarm, and have obviously been sitting around. Apparently the real truth of the matter is that the slovenly idiot at the counter was more interested in picking his fingernails than in doing his job and serving my food. I usually commend chick fil a for their superior customer service and incredible food, but today my opinion changed upon stopping here. We've been driving all day and looked forward to the usual chick fil a experience complete with a chocolate milk shake and chicken sandwiches. Not only did these employees look miserable to be at work, (even though it was 30 mins prior to closing, they could have at least not acted as though we weren't a complete annoyance) but they also got our order wrong, and failed to place any sauces in our order. Nor did they ask us if we needed any thing. After leaving and returning for sauces they attempted to give me 1 sauce of each 3 I had asked for (and I ordered 6 sandwiches...) so I asked for 2 of each in the employee rolled her eyes to. Love Chick-fil-A! I probably go there a little too much to tell you the truth. I would consider it "higher quality" fast food. It's on the more pricey side but it's better food and service. This location is always clean. My food is always hot. Staff is always friendly and polite. I haven't experienced a problem with this location and I've been frequenting this location for 3 years. I've dealt with them mostly for personal orders but I have also used their catering a few times. They will deliver your cater order if it is over a certain amount. The order was always ready at the time they said it would be. They also have specials-like they had college night every Monday and there was some discount involved. Sometimes I go to this location for breakfast and to read. It's quiet enough in the morning to focus while enjoying a nice bagel chicken sandwich (it is a must try. Came to this Chick-fil-A for lunch after being disappointed by the other one in the area. This location does have indoor seating, and it was pretty busy at lunch but the line was still short. I ordered a spicy deluxe combo this time, and it was better for sure - fries were hit and crispy and the chicken was tender. I think the chicken is still much too salty though, and I think it's a little pricey compared to what you get. read more
