What a cute little brunch spot in the heart of Durham! The concept is one where you order at the counter and then the servers bring out your items. This worked well until we were asked to wait several minutes for drinks because they were busy with food orders. The food itself was very good. We were all pleased with our meals and especially with the smoked wings. They have a house made ranch that is also top notch. I tried the cinnamon roll and wasn't impressed. The flavor was almost like it had a citrus hint to it. It says there are nuts in it on the menu but when I asked the server she shared there are in fact no nuts in the roll. Parking here can be a challenge due to the tiny lot but there is street parking available as well. I will definitely be returning here when in the area. read more

Stopped by this place on a Sunday morning for brunch around 11 AM. There were about five people ahead of us, but the line moved quickly. You place your order at the front counter and can choose to sit either inside or outside while waiting for your food. We started with a coffee and a smoothie--both were absolutely delicious! For breakfast, we had the breakfast platter, which came with perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, sweet maple bacon, and flavorful breakfast potatoes. The only downside was the bagel, which was a bit too hard--likely over-toasted. We also tried the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, and it was amazing! Very generous in size and packed with flavor. Stopped here for lunch while a group of us were in the area. Its def a quick, stop and get a bite type of spot. Its not a place I would really recommend for anything fancy. The food was great, and I truly felt welcomed by the team. However, everything changed the moment CAROL walked in. Her behavior was shocking and completely unprofessional. She was openly rude to her staff and repeatedly yelled in the main dining area for someone to be up front. Rather than handling the situation privately, she chose to humiliate her team in front of all the customers, which was uncomfortable and unnecessary. The staff deserves so much better, and customers shouldn't have to witness that kind of behavior. It definitely impacted the overall experience. With better management conduct, this would've easily been a 5-star visit. read more

I just moved here and have trying burger places around the area. I've been here a couple times, the first time the food was great and my boyfriend and I gave the place a 10/10. We went today around 45 minutes before they closed for the night and we ordered two treymendous burgers med rare. The manager was so sweet! She took our order and told us it would be a couple of minutes. Since it was around the time they were closing we took it to go. But, I think what susurprised me the most was the poor service, after my food taking a long time, I asked one of the staff if they could check on my food. Tried this place today for breakfast/brunch! As some other reviews mentioned, the chicken sandwich is small, and hard to eat (crumbly biscuit). But, I thought it was reasonable give the affordable price. I really liked my biscuit and smoothie here was pretty good too. My friend got the rocket plate, her grits were a bit bland. Not a ton of parking in the lot, but next to grub there is a street where allowed us to park in the shade along the road. Nothing fancy, but it's a cute place for a quick southern breakfast! Also wanted to add: They no long have brioche donuts!! Made me sad, but if you like cinnamon rolls they still have those and they are made from the same dough. read more
