I went through the drive-thru at the Ellisville location. Gave my order to Mike the outside associate in the little box, he confirmed my order twice then ran my credit card for payment. I was not offered nor did I receive a receipt. Mike, the associate, only took my first name so the associate at the food dispensing window would know which order I was picking up. So far so good ... until I got home and realized the restaurant shorted me one order of waffle fries. I immediately tried to call the restaurant to notify the manager of the drive-thru error and ask for resolution. The problem gets worse ... the customer service via phone contact at this location is horrible!! You cannot reach a live person but rather a voicemail prompt system with a message so broken-up that it was impossible to comprehend what was said and the prompts necessary to speak to someone. So not only did this location fail to completely fill my order, this Chik fil A location also fails at customer service ... their customer service call system voice response unit is beyond horrible ... right on par with the wilted slimy lettuce they slapped on my grilled chicken sandwich. read more

I went here on a busy night after leaving the hospital and I really didn't want fast food but I didn't have time to cook for my family so I thought Chick-fil-A in Ellisville MO would be a good option. I was wrong. Not only did they mess up my entire order it was also cold. John the manager reached out and said he would be sending out vouchers to make up for my order. He said that he mailed them the day before Thanksgiving and here it is December 9th and still nothing. I would not recommend this place. Highly disappointed. I don't know why I continue to come to this location when I am let down every single time. Nothing about any of my experiences here has ever been pleasant. First, it is beyond slow regardless of how many or how few cars are in front of you. I have probably never spent less than 25 minutes in the drive thru. Second, the employees are almost all RUDE. Lastly, it never fails that my order is either wrong or incomplete when I get it. My family recently moved from Louisville, KY and the chickfilas there were all top notch. The managers at this location could learn a lot from them. I don't understand how the owners of this location can be ok with how it is run when Chick-fil-A's standard is so much higher. Once we got to the window, one employee threw the water bottle to the other employee, missed, and splattered the entire bottle on the ground. They were all cracking up and joking around. The food was very much the same--a throw and a miss. The presentation of the milk shake was lackluster. It had the saddest flat dollop of whipped cream on top. Not late enough for lunch, so I ordered Chick-n-Mini's. They were kind of a disappointment. The nuggets, were the typical Chick-fil-a nugs, it was the buns that were really sad. The bottom of the bun was hard and dry. The top was soft and buttery, so I saved on carbs by just eating the tops. I didn't want coffee, so I ordered a diet coke. It was horrible. Yes, a simple diet coke was nasty. All I could taste was the flavored syrup, there was minimal carbon dioxide with chilled and purified water to make it a true "soda". If I had taken a sip before I got back on the road, I would have given it back. If there's a next time, I'll sip my drink before leaving. Update: During covid, inside dining is closed. Heaters are provided for those standing at the car taking orders...now that doesn't help me as a customer but is surely appreciated by those saying "my pleasure" when I order. This was the MOST contactless transaction I've done since my online amazon order. Even the person delivering food to my window, did not touch the bag (one less point of contact), but brought it to my car on a tray and I removed the bags. Even payment by credit card was no contact. Reader held out to me and I slid card. Super easy and felt very clean. I love Chick-fil-A and the way they treat me when I visit. This is not an ordinary fast food restaurant. Chick-Gil-A is the king of all fast food restaurants. Chick-fil-A is very charitable. I know this because I have attended large events they have sponsored. They donated sandwiches, salads, cookies, fruit and beverages. Their food is amazing and the customer service is outstanding. When you order your food, they ask for your name unlike other fast food restaurants. It makes the entire experience more personalized. They are very polite. The other day I had a problem with my order and called the restaurant when I got home to let them know that they accidentally gave someone else's order to me. Not only were they extremely apologetic, but they sent me a gift card in the mail. The owner followed up with me by letter! I love their food, all the food they serve. It is clean and packaged well. I saw another Yelper post a picture of one of the new Chick-fil-A Hashbrown Breakfast Scramble so I went to try it. The bowl included their hash browns, scrambled egg, cheese, and sliced chicken nuggets. They give you a packet of salsa to top it with. I do like their chicken! I found this to be a decent breakfast for $3.96. I'm not rushing back for it but I'm glad I tried it. The salsa had no flavor but word to the wise, they have packets of Texas Pete hot sauce available. This made it much more palatable. Why is everyone complaining about the service at this location? As with all of their restaurants, the service is very nice and the drive-thru orders are most always correct no matter how busy they are.
