We do not go to five guys often whenever we do, it's always on a special occasion. Weather school just got out or around someone's birthday. From all the locations I've been to this is probably my most favorite thus far. The service was amazing! The staff are extremely friendly, and the portion sizes are filling. We were able to sit outside when we visited and it's nice because they have a few tables outside that has umbrellas. read more

My husband and I went to Red Robin and shared a burger and fries and had soft drinks, left full, and it was less expensive than this place... We have seen people leave as soon as they see those prices. So, if you don't mind paying, the food is good. I personally think there are too many options to pay that price. read more

For almost $19 I would expect a very high-quality hamburger and fries. Instead, I received a bag of grease and a wrapped up smashed burger that looked very un appetizing.. bun was extremely mushy and look like my server had squeezed as hard as they could. Fries were under seasoned and extremely greasy yet somehow still kind of dry again for almost $19. This is a joke and such a rip off. read more

A decent Five Guys in the heart of the Ellisville plaza. This place truly does have some extraordinary service. Workers do truly care about their job. The peanuts in the lobby are a delightful appetizer before the main entree. Burgers are what you expect from any other Five Guys location on earth. But obviously we need to address the elephant in the room and address the prices of this establishment. These prices are out of control, filling the bag with fries or giving me free peanuts isn't gonna compensate me for paying $15 for a burger. Also this establishment has the audacity to have a pop up screen asking for a tip. Who in their right mind is gonna pay $15 for a burger and then tip at a FAST FOOD restaurant. Food is good and service is good but not even OJ Simpsons lawyer could justify the price this place has. read more

Atmosphere was standard 5 Guys, they probably need to update some of the dates on their accolades, and that's all 5 Guys overall. Super casual, cooked to order fast food burger joint. Freshly made tender burger patties, grilled then add your pick of condiments to your liking on a fresh bun! Plus signature side items include fresh cut fries and FREE peanuts (shelled type like at the ballpark)! Order a Regular size burger and you get a 'double' patty; order the Little one and it's a 'single' patty. You can have a hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon burger, or bacon cheeseburger. And if you're not a burger fan, they also have a veggie option or grilled cheese or hot dog. Condiments include grilled or regular onions, fresh sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalapeños, mayo, mustard and ketchup. Since I'm a fry guy, love their fresh cut fries! And whether you order a small, regular or large Size, count on getting nearly twice as much because they always fill the fry cup that overflows into your bag - definitely enough to share no matter what size you choose, it'll just depend on how many fries (or calories) you desire to eat! FYI, I do recommend asking for 'well done' fries if you prefer them extra crispy! And if you want a milk shake with your burger instead of a soda, they have those available too. I wouldn't have found myself in here if it weren't for the Stl City game being postponed because of a deadly storm. As I waited for a kickoff time update on twitter the storm grew worse. Tornado sirens started going and hail was coming down. We immediately walked swiftly to the five guys for some cover to wait out what could have been a horrible day. I got hungry while waiting and pulled out a second mortgage because I knew about the prices. Food is what you expect from a five guys but this location was pretty clean. Serves as a storm shelter and mediocre fast food chain with michelin star pricing. read more

If you like mediocre fast food served cold at astronomical prices, then this place is for you! Even the fries, their claim to fame, are unpalatable, especially when cold. The air conditioners blasting cold air also help you food to cool down quickly. I guess the cook needs to stay cool back there. If you want to bring in a few children for burgers with your spouse and family, get ready to drop $100 or more for a party of six. These are restaurant prices masquerading as fast food. read more

Nailed it! Ordered online for curbside pick up. Website for online ordering was very user friendly. Pick up instructions were easy to understand and well stated. Number to call listed online but was also boldly displayed in store window when I arrived. Before I could phone to say I had arrived I was greeted and asked my name. Soon a runner...I don't say this lightly...an employee literally ran to my car with my steaming hot food. All employees wore masks (matching black cloth) and practiced social distancing. Food was exactly as ordered, hot, delicious. The fries were even still hot when I got them home. Way to go! read more

I think Five Guys charges more for online orders. The regular burger is usually $6.19 in the store but was $8.19 online. Rather than order online I went to the store, they wouldn't let me in to order but a girl came out and took my order on a tablet. When I got the bill it was $8.19 for the hamburger. It's a good burger, but please - it's not worth over $8. I ordered regular fries and usually that's enough for 3-4 people, they usually put an extra scoop in the bag, which takes the sting out of paying over $4 for an order of fries. This time, they just filled the cup. It was fewer fries than a McD's large. Again, good fries but not worth the price. The total cost of my order was over $14, for one burger and fries. If that doesn't seem excessive to you, then go for it - it's a good burger. For me, it's just not worth it. If you do decide to pick up a burger and fries, bring a plastic bag with you. They serve your burger and fries in a paper bag. By the time I got home (about 7 minutes after I picked up the order), the juices had leaked and the bottom of the bag gave out. Stopped in for lunch back in December. The order experience was friendly and quick. I ordered my usual LBC (little bacon cheeseburger), which can be dressed with your preference of toppings, and fries. My order was ready within a few minutes, but I snacked on a few peanuts while I waited. The burger and fries were exactly what I was expecting. Hot, fresh, made to order, and delicious. Here's my only problem with five guys--it's messy! My burger falls apart every. single. time. I can't figure out how to keep the foil wrapped so it stays intact. On this visit, I looked over to see a cuter, younger female daintily eating her burger and fries while using no more than two napkins. Meanwhile, I'm sitting at my table with my face smeared with condiments, ketchup dripping from my fingertips, and a pile of used napkins on the table. I think next time I'll get it to go so I can hose off afterward. read more

I'm not the first to review Five Guys the chain, but I'm the first to review this particular location! The theme behind Five Guys is similar to In N Out Burger. All meat is fresh never frozen. The fries are cut on the spot from actual SPUDS! what sets it apart from In N Out are the toppings. This was my first time experiencing the famed Five Guys. I ordered the Little Cheeseburger (one patty) with mayo, ketchup, mustard, onion, tomato, and extra pickle. All burgers are cooked well-done and are still juicy as proclaimed on their signage. The good: -Tasty burger, not dry, fresh not processed flavor, grilled on the spot -The toppings - all fresh, good flavor, I like that they chop their onions rather than doing raw ringlets of onions which can be overpowering -Single patty was just the right size pour moi -Price was only $4.09 for a little cheeseburger - what a deal -Fries tasted fresh, new oil, good potato flavor, some potato skin still left on the fries which makes it more flavorful The bad: -My bun was cold. It was so disappointing to bite into a cold sesame bun. Couldn't they have heated it up?? -The cheese was not melted all the way. Odd. I think they cook the burger and then put the cheese on the bun so that when the two combine, the cheese melts from the heat of the meat. Not ideal. While it's not the best burger ever, it was a fresh tasting burger with all the trimmings. The best part is that you get to pick from a good list of toppings. Can't really beat that...a made to order burger at a reasonable price. Also, the staff is really happy and very friendly. It was nice to see a smile at 11am. This location is run like other FGs I've been to... Friendly staff, quick cook times, and satisfying food. I usually always get a "little" burger - it's plenty big! (The regular size is two patties, while the Little is only one). Cheese and bacon will cost you extra, but both are well worth it (if you're eating bad, you may as well go all out!). Both the cajun and regular fries are good. Haven't tried the dogs yet. Don't fill up on peanuts while you wait! And if you can't hold back from overdosing on free nuts while you wait, you can also order ahead online and pick up when your oder's ready. One last note: I don't mind at all, but be warned, there are no shakes on this menu. read more

I am not a huge burger guy but Five Guys is by far my favorite place to go. I've been to this location three times in about six months and have been satisfied with each visit. Their choice of free toppings is the best and paired with the ample amount of fries you can't lose. While it is a bit pricey (my total comes to $12) I leave full and that is my main goal when eating out and spending that much money. Of course I am on the high and everyone who goes there doesn't have to spend that much, but I truly enjoy this place and love going back. read more

My bag was dripped in grease, and the grease stained my green leggings :( the burger shouldn't cost 10 bucks and the fties shouldn't cost more than $3. I'm very unhappy with how things ended up. I would like to start out by saying I like my burgers medium well. 5 Guys does a good job however. The burger was well done but good. I like the toppings and the free peanuts in the shell!! Yummmm! Where the problem lies is with cooking well done and also the fact that it can be expensive. Everything is ala carte. I chose just the burger and a small drink. I wanted to taste the fries but I already ran up a large bill. If cost and preparation is not an issue I would highly recommend 5 Guys. Forgot to mention the staff.
