I decided to go inside to check out the digs. Needs less to say there was no line at 3 pm. It's a family friendly spot with a ton of seating. Great for kids, parents, and families. I got the spicy chicken, super spicy. And my partner got the pimento. I tried the pimento and it was very tasty. Worth a try. This was a quick serve restaurant that met my expectations. My husband and I are so fortunate to live 5 minutes from this Chick-fil-A. The consistency at this establishment is what keeps us coming back. The chicken nuggets, strips, chicken sandwich, fries, kale salad, Diet Coke, ETC are always perfectly served. The chicken is ALWAYS tender, never stringy. Sometimes you order Chick-fil-A and it just doesn't taste good. But this location never lets us down. I try new items at this location because I know they'll do it justice, like they do everything else. Every other Chick-fil-A needs to go through training at this location, particularly the kitchen staff. The way they prepare their food is excellent. And we are grateful for the consistency. On top of all of this, the customer service is outstanding. That's pretty typical for a Chick-fil-A but these folks look like they genuinely enjoy working here. When you walk in the door, "welcome to Chick-fil-A!!" I mean really this place deserves to be the model Chick-fil-A for all those around the southeast. Grateful is an understatement. Preston is absolutely amazing! He has the most contagious energy of anyone I've ever encountered. He greets me and my coworker by first name as we walk in the door. That is super impressive! He is so friendly and always puts a smile on our face. He is the reason as well as the staff that is on his team during his shift that we eat at this location several times a week. This location is always super clean . The 2 sweethearts, Mrs.Diane and Mrs.Margie makes sure the dining area is spotless and always comes over to our table to chat and see if we need drink refills. I've been coming here since I was a child and always had a wonderful experience but since moving back the last couple times I've had terrible customer service. Today was the last straw. I'm picking up a doordash order and go through the drive through, maybe 3 other cars that have already been helped, I was told I have to go in and that's fine. I get inside ask about the other and I'm greeted with an attitude from a bigger older woman, she yells if it's not on the table it's not ready yet... I was told over the intercom it was.. she shoves past me to hand someone else food over me, then goes to the back to get another employee to tell me it's going to be another 5 minutes? The store and drive through were empty. I'm ticked off and just leave. To be greeted and served with an attitude is expected somewhere else maybe Popeyes? But CHICK-FIL-A ?! read more

I initially reached out regarding an incident I witnessed at the East Lake Chick-fil-A over a month ago. I saw a restaurant supervisor treating employees very poorly, and doing so in front of drive thru customers. It was not a good experience for the employees and not a good experience for the customers. I received an apology email from the corporate response team that included this statement: We always want our customers to have a great experience at Chick-fil-A, and it sounds like that just didn't happen this time. So, on behalf of both the restaurant you visited and Chick-fil-A, Inc., we apologize Chick-fil-A's response also committed that someone from leadership at the restaurant would be in touch with me in 2-3 days. That did not happen, and I reached out again a couple of weeks later to see if any action had been taken. I got the same response from the corporate team, almost word for word, which was disappointing and frustrating. And more than a month later, still no one from the restaurant had bothered to respond. What's frustrating is the lack of recognition in their response that the incident primarily affected their employees, and not just customers. Also frustrating is that no one from the restaurant felt this was important enough to address with a simple email replying that the issue has been handled and they recognize this was not a good employee experience. There are any number of social media outlets with which I could have publicly provided this feedback to Chick-fil-A, but I wanted to given them the good faith opportunity to hear the feedback directly and have a chance to address it. My impression is that my feedback has been more or less ignored and that no action was taken to address the supervisor's unacceptable behavior. And that makes me conclude that the (teenage) employees are still being subjected to the same treatment at their place of employment. With no real response or action from Chick-fil-A through direct channels, here I am on Yelp, FB, social media outlets providing the feedback publicly to ensure the issue is reviewed and corrected. A templated corporate response to the customer rather than the employees is not good enough. Do what is right for your employees and follow through on your commitments to your customers. read more

Today I went in for the free breakfast and waited nearly 30 mins. It's annoying but considering it's free food, there's nothing to complain about. (Obviously it's going to be slow.) The employees were all very kind, prompt, and apologetic. Everybody was moving very quickly and doing their job. Hanaa Charania was professional and conveyed understanding. She handled customer complaints very well. An older black woman got mad and asked her why it's taking so long just to get her order. Hanaa went to the back and checked on it. She apologized and said there are a lot of people right now (clearly visible by how packed it is inside and outside of the restaurant). Then she extends her hand and proceeds to ask to see the customer's receipt. The customer throws her receipt on the table. She picks it up and says "oh just one coffee? Ill get it for you now." And proceeds to get it. When the woman gets her coffee, she quickly smirks a thanks, then turns around and walks away. Another case: an older white blonde haired woman with a dark haired son order a few items. She expresses her anger at Hanaa. Hanaa says shell check on the order. The moment she turns to check, another employee comes up with the customer's order. The customer takes the bag and tells her son to grab the drink. In front of the employee, as she turns to walk away and as her son asks her why it took so long, she says, "these people are idiots. Let's go." I know the employee and Hanaa heard it since they were closer to her than I was. I saw for a second, Hanaa and the employee's response on their face, but then they flipped on their customer-service-professional-face. These uncultured, rude, and disrespectful customers don't deserve such good service/good people. They are terrible, but the employees here, especially Hanaa, did wonderfully, de-escalating the situation. They even handed out free food cards for next time, as a sorry for the delay. I love Chick-fil-A and this is a good location. Everyone is always friendly and they double-check to make sure my order is right. I eat here fairly often and I don't remember any problems with quality or getting things right. They do a chicken nugget eating contest here, I think it's annual. I've thought about signing up/entering but I know I can't eat enough nuggets to win. It does sound like a fun challenge though. This location always puts up nice lights for Christmas. So I went thru the drive thru had to wait over 20min watching the pre-order cars drive thru and the one who cut me off smirked at me. Really pathetic. So now the food. I spent 50.00. You would think that the waffle fries would not be bits but potatoes and the containers should be full and 2/3 full. The chicken tenders were very small. I ordered a 4 pack. The Mac and cheese was barely to the top of the container. I know cost of food has gone up but atleast you can match that with the food. I am not pleased with all that I spent today. My coworkers and I hit up this Chick-fil-A location often for lunch. It's one of the better Chick-fil-A's I've been to. Service can actually be too good here. When the store isn't busy, the employees bring your food out to you (on a tray of course). I also can't tell you how many times a manager or other employee stopped by our table asking us if we needed anything, including condiments, drink refills, and having our trays taken away when we're finished eating. There have been times where, even when we were walking out the door to leave, we were still asked if we wanted refills (presumably to go). Very nice of them, but it got to the point where it became annoying. One of my coworkers once won a free meal here because he was the 300th (?) customer in line. Had we known he was going to win, we would've just had him buy all of our meals too! This Chick-fil-A is medium-sized, has a play pen for the kiddies, and doesn't get as busy as the other nearby Chick-fil-A locations on Cobb Parkway and Windy Hill -- this location gets busy, those locations get very busy. Frequent visitor of this location. Had to get the food to go this time around due to being home because of the COVID-19 virus. This location as a circle parking lot so to some that may be annoying. The inside is always clean and has friendly staff. I ordered on the app and the food was ready in about 10 minutes. Pulled up, told them I ordered off the app, paid, and drove around. Best Chick-fil-A ever! I would give 10 stars if I could! The breakfast is great! When you enter, the friendly employees great you. They only had one cashier, but she was very speedy and kind. We had a gift card for a free entree, and she went ahead and added hash browns and a drink for free. The food came out in about 20 seconds. This place is super speedy! The man that delivers food to you (the manager I'm guessing) is very friendly. The food was a perfect temperature and tasted great. This location is on Roswell road across street from Kroger. The location is pretty convenient with plenty parking around. However, if you are coming down Roswell from north, it is easy to miss the entrance. The entrance is shared between the Aldi shopping plaza and this stand alone chick-fil-a location. The restaurant has a lot of young employees, more likely to be college kids. They are not tempted to do a good job at maintain the environment clean. Trash cans can be over flowing, food stains on the table and booth or chairs. I usually come in around 8pm, there are not a lot of customers. But the young employees like to take their breaks around the same time, they will occupy a few tables, talk and laugh really loudly. I understand it is a chain fast food restaurant, but a lot of times, it was hard for me to communicate with my friends and family. This is why I took off one star and always make to go orders. This chick fil a refuses to do thin filets, they refuse to do crispy filets, they forget the sauces you ask for 95% of the time. The food is pretty lackluster most of the time and they straight up refuse to prepare it the way you'd like. There are a few employees here that make this location shine, but you'll get better food how you want it if you drive 10 minutes to a different location. This location operators like a well oiled machine. I have only been around Lunch time but they manage crowds very well and get you moving through the drive-thru no problem. The service at this Chic-Fil-A was subpar. While ordering, the person was speaking over us, asked us multiple times what we wanted and still did not put our order in right. When we went to the window and we told them we were missing something, they said that we didn't order that and tried to make us pay for what was missing even though it was a mistake on their end. The employee at the window didn't even speak to the one who took the order and got it wrong, and instead tried to make us pay for it. And we didn't even receive a receipt. This is the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. The drive thru line is SO SLOW. I've probably been here 20+ times and I always wait at least 10 minutes. I always order ahead via the app and still have to wait. It's just awful. The staff who work here are very nice and always make me feel valued but it's just not worth it to wait so long to get food. They mess something up about 60% of the time I come here and yet for some reason I still come weekly. You would think it was a rare occurrence but I can only imagine with the frequency of my own orders being screwed up they manage it a lot! Is most definitely my last time coming just got through waiting for 20 minutes in the parking lot after going through the drive through because my order wasn't ready. You'd think it would take less than 20 minutes to make a chicken sandwich or at least maybe update the customer. I am a huge fan of CFA, but this location has been a little hit or miss for me so far. I have either dined in, picked up food, or gone through the drive through probably a dozen or more times in the last two months. Sometimes the quality is exceptional and food is ready promptly. Other times, primarily when I've dined in the restaurant, orders have been taken incorrectly or not completely delivered to the table. I hope to see more consistency at this location in the future. read more
