Local spot with great staff. You can have a burger, any type of way you want here and if you don't know, they have plenty of options to choose from. It's also great that they're open late so you can satisfy any late night cravings that you may have. Inside it has a Sports bar type Vibe. If you know me, you know that I love a good burger. So when one of my friends recommended burger bar. I waited no time in trying it out. We came on a Saturday and they were crowded. However, Service was great. Our we just came to our table fairly quickly took our order brought our drinks so no problem there I ordered just a regular I like regular burgers with lettuce, tomato cheese, onions, mushrooms. My burger was simply just OK. In my opinion. The meat was not a quality, but it wasn't bad. However, I did enjoy the garlic aïoli sauce. This place is worth trying so give it a try. read more

We stopped in as we heading to Florida. We were looking for a quaint local place that had drinks and burgers. We hit the jackpot. This place is clean and friendly. We were welcomed in as we entered. The bartender was attentive and kind. We sat at the bar and watched the football playoffs. We had bottled beers and were offered cold glasses each time. We shared a bacon cheeseburger and tots. They split the order for us in the kitchen- so thoughtful. The burger was tasty and cooked to medium. The tots were crispy and hot. Perfect. Another note- I didn't order ice cream or pie but I saw the pastry and the watched the bartender hand dip the ice cream so next time through, it's on my list. This is a great place to grab a burger. It's a small establishment with indoor and outdoor seating. The servers are really good and check on you. The burgers are a good size. I got two patties and finished it but the average adult might not make it. A single patty is good for the average person. I also had sweet potato fries, which were good as I added honey and ketchup to them. If you're in the area, it's a good place to try. The food isn't great, but definitely pretty good. read more

On our way driving through the area we got excited thinking the Portillo's in Kennesaw was already open. We were hankering for Italian Beefs & Chicago Dogs. Then, we found out it wasn't. Someone had just rated & posted they were excited for it to be open lol. Thanks a lot guy!!! I really got so excited at first glance that I did a dance in my seat & giggled uncontrollably. We stopped here last minute at around 10:30. This place is a little hidden gem in Marietta! It's cozy and clean and has a sports bar vibe. Erin was our server and super friendly. She made some great suggestions and had our food out quickly. We shared a huge pretzel with beer cheese and had a patty melt, West coast burger and classic burger with onion rings and fries. Do not recommend at all. 2 out of 3 burgers were completely raw and the best they could do was 10% off. The meat is also the lowest quality I've seen, gray and chewy. Fries were a tiny portion and also cold. Wasn't cheap either. Overall just a bad experience and will definitely never return. I recommend trying any of the other burger joints near by. read more

My daughter and I visited the Burger Bar for dinner and had a good experience. We were initially a little skeptical - the outside definitely makes you think bar, not restaurant. It's in a kinda run-down shopping center with a liquor store. However, the inside is nicely appointed and clean, as well as family friendly. The fried pickles were amazing, and the homemade ranch dressing is the absolute best! My burger was very tasty and big - I wound up taking half of it home! There were two wait staff who shared responsibility for the entire building. One was mostly behind the bar but they both checked on us and were very friendly. There were several obvious locals in the restaurant as they were greeted by name and the waitresses asked about their families. The sign on the bathroom made me smile and made me think they are inclusive of all. We will definitely go back when we are in the area! I was treated very weirdly here. I went in to order a meal, to sit down and order a meal and I'm a single black female in a mostly white establishment and I'm dining alone and I go to sit at the bar and these three or four waitresses. All of them, for about 15 minutes, completely ignore me. No greeting, no welcome, no menu. They just had me sitting there looking stupid. I eventually had to scream over to them, "HELLO, HELLO." And I remember it was like an LGBT+ person, a female, and they finally took my order, but I had to like, force them to make that happen. I had been going through a long, hard, rough day. I was tired, extremely hungry, about to pass out. And I had to sit there and wait, while these white women just ignored me. It was very rude. I did not like how I was treated and I hate to make it a race thing but they brought that on themselves. read more

If you're in the hankering for a decent burger in Marietta, look no further than the Marietta Burger Bar. Its decent online ratings are warranted, as they use quality ingredients in their burgers. We started off with an order of the mozzarella sticks (3/5) which were a solid and decent recipe, but otherwise average with regards to breading in the mozzarella sticks and the marinara sauce served with it. The burgers (4/5) we ordered were each distinct with regards to the variety of toppings, but we all agreed the bun and quality of ingredients were well above average, and left us all satisfied. I wasn't too big of the fan of the fries (2.5/5) as I the few I tried weren't overly flavorful or seasoned. The onion rings were a bit better as they were crunchy, but came out a bit too saturated with oil, leaving some small pools of oil in the basket. Prices were reasonable and the service was quick and friendly. I'd rate the Marietta Burger Bar experience as a 3.5, but since their burgers were all decently liked by us, happy to round up the overall rating and would recommend it to others when looking for a decent burger. read more

Decent food and ambiance. I ordered a Chicago Italian beef and asked for it to be double dipped in the aus jus (iykyk). It came out with the aus jus on the side. My server was just like meh whatever. It was decent. Nothing to write home about. My wife got the single burger and it did not. I guess if we're going to a burger bar, the burger should be the best thing on the menu. So my kid just finished a track meet at the HS near by and I wanted to get food. Figured burger a beer was deserved after seating in direct heat that long. I go to order one and get ID'd which I'm like okay I lost my wallet recently but I don't look 21 and honestly I have a a passport photo so that should be fine. Nope "won't accept digital"...after hours in the sun that definitely pissed me off. I had no issue with showing this cause let's be real. They looked at me and said "let's not risk it"...ok. I pressed on and I went for the West Coast Chicken Sandwich blackened with fries. The jam made it kind of sweet and savory but even with the fries it all felt it was missing something. Really I should have been aware since the jam and avocado together was major parts. My husband "wasn't a fan" of the patty melt. My son who has the roadhouse said "he's cold barley could taste the bacon or the bbq sauce." In the end I want recommend but I still give 4 stars. Extra star for creativity. read more

The food wasn't bad at all, in fact the burger would have been pretty good if it weren't for the near cold bun they had it on which made it stiff... anyone knows good bread makes good meat a great burger! But anyway, upon finishing our meal they brought the ticket and I found that asking them to leave off the cheese from a $3.99 chili cheese dog made the total for the chili dog $6.24! So I asked the waitress for the manager to discuss so moving forward this wouldn't happen to someone else and I was told the manager wasn't in and asked if she could take it to our waitress and have it corrected and gave her my credit card. So my waitress brought the receipt back with my card already charged and the total the same. I asked her about it and she said "it's not my fault that's how they trained us and how it works." So you mean to tell me, I'm saving you money by asking to withhold toppings and you charge me $2+ more... it's not even about the $2, is the principle... better bread and better response to my charging issue, it would have been a solid 4 at least! read more

So this is a Chicago Beef review. I was really excited to hear that the old Chicago Delights spot now the Marietta Burger Bar was still selling Chicago dogs and more importantly Italian Beefs. The dog was great proper green relish and poppy seed bun. I really came here for the beef. The old Delights spot had one of the better beefs around. The Beef itself was good flavor, thin sliced, Giardiniera was nice and spicy, the jus/gravy unfortunately was pretty thin and not the most beefy flavored. Now the thing that really makes a good Italian Beef is actually the proper bread. Turano French Rolls to be exact. The thing about a Turano French Roll is its dense and can hold the Jus. Unfortunately this was the big miss at Marietta Burger Bar. Like so many outside Chicago they use a regular old sub bread. On top of that, maybe cause they do it to their other sandwiches, they butter and toast the roll as well. Where I typically like this for phillys and dips, it really throws the flavor off on an Italian Beef. So it was a nice beef sandwich, more like a French dip, it just wasn't a great Italian Beef sandwich which I was really hoping for. Loved the crew working there, enjoyed sitting down, definitely a nice menu to eat through. I'll be back for sure but it doesn't hit the craving for an Italian Beef if you're a Chicago person looking for one. read more
