I went there tonight and got the spicy chicken sandwich and an un-sweet tea. The sandwich was OK - neither bad nor great. Worse than I would expect at 7:30. The lady behind the counter was polite, but inattentive. I asked for un-sweet tea. She asked me if I wanted sweet tea. I said, "no, I want unsweet." You guessed it - I got sweet. And it was so hot it melted all the ice, so then I had room temperature, weak, semi-sweet tea. I think what really set the mood tonight was the male employee lying down in the booth by the head of the food ordering line. He was having a great time chatting on his phone and having a great time. I love Chick-Fil-A. Their food is amazing and always very fresh. My main complaint about this particular Chick-Fil-A is the parking lot. It is GOD AWFUL! The people who seem to design Chick-Fil-A parking lots need to be replaced. I hardly ever go to a Chick-Fil-A with a well designed parking lot. This one is the worst though. The area of Poplar that it is located at is super busy. The lunch time rush is even worse. The drive through line runs right out into Popular. The entrance and exits are too thin. Not enough parking. I dread this parking lot. I cannot say enough good things about the food and service though. The staff is super nice, and they will even take your order early in the drive thru. A long story short. The worst experience ever I was in the turn lane for 15 minutes waiting to turn in but the lady running the drive-through let the cars from the side entrance into what you're not supposed to enter into the drive through line for then when it was 10:31 finally I got in and I asked Lee for breakfast for my kids and she responded no we don't want your kind here I will not be spending any more money at this Chick-fil-A or any Chick-fil-A for that matter and it's sad because I do spend a lot of money here but now they will no longer get it by the way they treated me in front of my kids make me look like a damn toy! read more

Now it's rare that someone has a bad experience at chick-fi-la. I and I won't say that I particularly had one today. However, when coming through the drive through, I was greeted by a server who shared the name as me. She was white. She felt it necessary to say "please don't take this the wrong way, but I never met another "black" (name) before. Thats so awesome." Now my name is uncommon in my community I didn't feel it an appropriate setting. I believe people should just be a little more self aware. Once I got to the window to receive said food, the gentleman did not even look at me. He was busy trying to find an image in his phone to show the other employees. Wow, 4 great years...no wonder they still call me by name whenever I come in. Scott is the coolest manager at any of the stores I visit across TN,MS, and AR. This is the 2nd time this incident has happened. I received the wrong order at drive through. I ordered a chicken biscuit meal with American cheese and a sweet tea. I received a 3 count minis entree with unsweet tea. I also asked for strawberry jelly. I went in to exchange my order and they had only given me one jelly packet when I checked back in the car. I'm not sure if there was a recent change in employees, but I had to return my food because it was not hot. I was too hungry to return the second time. I noticed 2 more customers returned their items due to it being a wrong order. The restaurant was clean and nice to eat in. In what seems to be an endless supply of fast food establishments that simply do not care about customer service whatsoever, Chick-Fil-A stands out as not only caring about customer service, but doing an excellent job of making their guests feel welcome. You are almost always greeted enthusiastically by the employees when you enter, they are attentive, get your food to you quickly, and will even walk around and see if you are enjoying your meal and will offer to refill your drink for you! They also have free wi-fi, which is most excellent. I am very happy with my many experiences at this Chick-Fil-A and plan on coming back frequently. read more

This particular location of Chik-fila needs to work on providing consistent quality. I love the restaurant and the food is incredible, but it's hit or miss when it comes to food quality. During the week, the food is always fast and fresh. This is the Chik-fila standard. However, the Friday and Saturday food is definitely subpar and could use work. (By subpar I mean cold, stale, wrong, and generally not fresh.) I usually see people taking back food more on the weekends than during the week. This is definitely something that can be remedied. I will say that this location's customer service is consistently excellent. This is why I continue to frequent this location. read more

I can't believe how service has dropped off. Three customers including myself was standing in line for 10 min before any staff acknowledged us. This is my first bad experience here, however the new manager was standing at the front answered a phone order but did not correct the staff to turn aro and address the counter. The young man did get the order correct, the food was good as usual, but the attitude was a complete turn off. I'm sure this is not the norm or rather I hope this isn't the new norm. It's a shame because I want to patronize Chick-fil-A but not with this service . I'll give them one more chance but that's it. read more

Seldom do I give 5 starts, but you guys earned it! This is the most consistent, efficient, clean, politest, well trained employee chain I've even gone to; especially this location. While I'm sure you all are trained to say "my pleasure" it's always nice to hear that with a smile on you guy's face. A bit over priced, but I don't mind spending the money for the quality of service and food I get. Great job! Other fast food chains should follow your lead! read more

After my 3 star review last year, I have to come back and downgrade it to a one star after my experience there this past Saturday. I went with a friend, and we each placed our own order for a 4-count of the Chicken Minis. After placing our orders and sitting down, I noticed that I didn't receive a table marker for my order, but my friend did. A staff member brought her order within a few minutes, and after waiting about a minute longer I went up to the pickup counter with my receipt. After waiting for several minutes I was addressed by a staff member and explained that I was still waiting on my order, and that I didn't have a marker for them to bring it to my table. The employee insisted that they already brought my order to my table, but I said no, that was an order my friend placed. Then she said they were waiting for more chicken to cook. I waited at the counter about 10 more minutes, and she finally handed me a box of chicken minis. I opened the box and discovered the worst quality chicken that I have ever had at a Chick Fil A. Inside each little biscuit was a piece of overooked, chewy, and tasteless chicken. One of them even just had a tiny little piece of burnt breading the size of my fingernail. I threw most of it in the trash and left hungry. I counted 11 people waiting for food when I left, and while I understand Saturday mornings are busy, the organization, management, and quality of both service and food at this location has taken a serious nosedive. They have lost me as a customer, and with continued service like this, I know I will not be the only one. read more

I normally don't do these types of things, seeing as I'm in the service industry and work in a restaurant myself.. but when someone needs constructive criticism I will leave it. I have been a regular at least once a week at this location for several years. Unfortunately I've watched the customer service go downhill. I completely understand that the business at the location has grown since hundreds of thousands of cars pass it on a daily basis and it is so centrally located. The past few visits through the drive thru something has been left off my order. Today, I get all the way home and there is no dressing for my salad after being reassured that everything was in the bag by the window attendant. I drive back up there and explain the situation and don't even get an apology for the inconvenience. I've always praised chick fil a for their customer service, but I feel this locations employees just aren't as friendly or caring as they use to be. Last night I decided to take my daughter and four of my neices and nephews to the movies and Chick Fila! The service was on point as usual!! But two ladies Michael Ann and Sam went Out of their way to assist me when my car needed a jump!!! It was so cold outside but they still helped me!!! Avoid at all costs if you want your order correct.Typically the food is hot and you may luck out and get a friendly staff member, which is the only saving grace of this place. If cleanliness is your thing, don't go inside because the place is always a wreck, especially the self-service condiment station. However, they've had double drive-thru lines for several years and have yet to figure out how to get an order right. There was even a time they charged me for the wrong order during a busy lunch rush and instead of cancelling it and refunding my money, they charged me for that order AND my own until I questioned, which started much eye rolling and huffing. Want condiments? Better hope you can eat with 1 packet of ketchup/sauce because that's all you will get. Don't even bother asking for extra napkins or straws. On our latest trip, we specifically asked for plain biscuits (NO BUTTER) and were rudely told they had the order correct, but guess what? THEY DIDN'T and were not interested in making the order right. If you travel and eat and Chick-fil-A on the road, you will come to find this location is a joke when it comes to friendliness and cleanliness. read more
